3 points were secured by Manchester United but I feel that their performance in this match was underrated and even if you look at the comparison of Wolves with all their internal problems I still feel that yesterday's match Wolves were much better in terms of attack because Manchester United looked like they were confused in this regard. They weren't very cohesive and their attacks were wasted.
It's lucky that Varane managed to be the difference in this match because if it ends up being a draw then I think it's a failure for Manchester United.
Ten Hag must try more in this regard so that their squad in the next match is better than the first week that is completely over.

KBD is hurt and will be out for at least four months. That's a long time for such a top midfielder. While it's good news for their opponents, because he's a key player for Man City. But Man City isn't just reliant on one player. The team remains strong even without him and will likely be the favorite against Newcastle. City is still a great club, and has lot of quality players. Foden and Alverez will step up in his absence. Of-course Pep definitely has a plan.

Shall arsenal buy a new player to replace timber? Timber face ACL injury and this is the most horrible injury that footballers often faced. Timber will be facing surgery to recover from his injury. Arsenal was just bought him last weeks but he must be absent for a few months or even more.
I may think if arsenal shall try to list meguire from manchester united as a potential replacement for him.   I hope timber will recover soon but this actually needs probably 6 months to recover from his ACL injury.

Yeah this is the big match in the 2nd week or we can call it a battle for standings because the winner will take over the standings lol, I remember in the last match of the two teams last season Manchester City managed to win with a final score  2-0 and at the moment City are playing at home also in the next match Man City played at home so will Manchester City win for second time? of course we can't be sure but we can see the betting market it seems the bookies are confident that Manchester City will win again @1.64 if we bet on Manchester City and @5.00 for Newcastle it is very clear that the bookies favor Manchester City.

Previously both teams had won the first match even with many goals more than 3 goals, which means that both teams are confident so the fight will be more interesting. I would not blindly believe in what the bookies have to offer I will do my own observation by watching for up to a few minutes before making a decision. I have to agree with this.Guardiola has been having this philosophy since his distant time at Barcelona when he first got his first job as a head coach there.Many people did not like this philosophy and way of playing called tika-taka which means to keep a lot of ball possession while the team looks for creating dangerous attacks,in the beginning was not working well at Barcelona but as soon as these new players harmonized with each other then we saw a super performing team who won everything.

That is why I also think that Lewis will become inevitably a great player and a great asset to Manchester City.

@fachant you had already ruled out the chances of Newcastle defeating Man City, well football had changed and unpredictable between the two teams and both team look formidable going by their first match results thus a tough match ahead, recall last season Man City had a great comeback against Newcastle luckily for them that Match ended 3-3 draw now that Kevin DeBryne is out injured it's a great blow and major setback for the team considering his influence and impact in most  of their matches with good numbers of assist to his credit unfortunately he is going to be out of action for 4 months which will definitely affect the team in this weekend match when they play Newcastle though playing at Etihad would be an advantage to the home side.

Basically I really believe that Chelsea will easily bring in more players. But it seems that Boehly also learned from last season's mistakes when he changed coaches and bought expensive players too, but the results were very disappointing. That way, it seems that at this moment Boehly will be more careful and not careless like before.

Also, at the moment it looks like their head coach Pochettino is also on a path that aligns with the club owners. Thus, of course Pochettino will prove his skills to improve Chelsea performance this season but only buying a few players in the transfer market at the start of the season like this.

On paper, the Manchester City vs Sevilla match should be easily overcome by Pep Guardiola's squad. because after all, these two teams have quite a clear gap from various aspects. referring to the H2H meeting of these two teams, in 4 matches City always beat Sevilla with a big score. in fact I'm quite sure, if this fight will only take place in 2x45 minutes of normal time without extra time.

IMO, City is a team that has been tested and proven how consistent they are and the depth of their players.
