I think they both have their different attributes at Manchester City but it's very right to say Kelvin Debruyne is one of the pillars of Manchester City and they lack a little creativity playing without him, it was proven in the champions league final against intermilan when he was taken off due to an injury and it became tougher for Manchester City to control the Midfield area therefore Intermilan took advantage and started pressing more in the 2nd half of the game,  also if you noticed yesterday's game lacked the presence of Debruyne and it would had been much easier if he were present yesterday because there was no connection from the midfield area to Haaland and that's one of Debruyne's specialities, connecting with Haaland by delivering some brilliant passes to him that most times leads to goal, this is something Foden couldn't do, no doubt he's skillful and has pace and could be very relaible during counter attacks but in matches when they'll be playing against a defensive team like Sevilla they'll need a player that could break into the opposition defense line and deliver good passes from the striker to convert into a goal, Pep Guardiola misses him infact the entire squad misses him and it's time for Pep to restrategise or sign in a new player that offers same attributes as Debruyne to stand in for him in situations of injuries or fatigue.

I don't think anybody will argue about it because it is clear and easy to believe that De Bruyne is a great player and his absence will seriously affect Manchester City's performance. Since I have been watching Manchester City games whenever De-Bruyne is absent in the field, I always quickly witness because that midfield does not always look creative compared to when De-Bruyne is in the field. Foden is also a great young player, but I don't think that he can do the work of DE-Bruyne. In fact, recently, I may say that Foden has lost form compared to how it was the last two seasons, or maybe because he didn't have much playing time last season, and again, the absence of De-Bruyne will also affect Haaland's scoring performance because I have witnessed this season's matches against Arsenal and Sevilla.

Injuries is really affecting a lot of teams, Kevin De Bruyne for Manchester City to add to John Stones, Timber for Arsenal, Tyrone Mings for Aston Villa, and now Chelsea's captain Reece James for Chelsea to add to the problems that they have with Nkunku out. All these clubs will have to find a way to make up and make sure that these injuries do not affect their campaign. Manchester City coach is smart, he will be able to find a temporary solution until Kevin De Bruyne returns, Arsenal coach also still has options to play until he returns much later, and Chelsea have replacements, they have many young and talented players. These things are not planned, but coaching has to do with handling any kind of situation you face.

Currently Manchester City not only lost Kevin De Bruyne due to injury, but they also had Bernardo Silva with the same problem. I'm not sure when these two players will return to the squad, and of course both are important players that Pep Guardiola really needs.

He (Kelvin Debryune) is really goated indeed! You don't seem to find two of his kind of talent in the EPL and stretching to Europe as a whole when searching for talented midfielders. He has always been the powerhouse of City's goals in the two previous seasons in all competitions.

I'll speak from Guardiola's side, as you said he's one of the good coaches, no doubt about it, he's been able to carefully look at players' abilities and successfully occupy the vacancies left by players who contributed greatly before.

City have to play better if they want to win the Champions League title again.

Thats what happens when you defend real good against a side like City. City plays a possession game but if opponent defenders doesn't gives much space then opponents have real shot at winning against City. With now De Bruyne out with injury their productivity while attack has really taken a hit and City are very much vulnerable right now. To be honest City were lucky to have gotten a win finally against Sevilla but Sevilla really pushed them to the edge.

I hope Guardiola understands his team's weaknesses. Now he will take appropriate steps to correct the weaknesses.
Sevilla played defensively in this match. As a result, Manchester City managed to score just one goal in 120 minutes. Bernardo Silva, De Bruyne and Cancelo could not play in this match due to injuries. All three are key players in City's squad. Also I don't know why Julian Alvarez was brought on after 86 minutes. Alvarez was also brought in as Palmer's replacement. Palmer performed well in this match. Foden and Haaland cannot play well. All in all, Manchester City's performance was a bit sloppy. They need to play better in Premier League matches if they want to stay at the top of the table.

Compared to Manchester City and Sevilla match, Sevilla performed exceptionally well. And during the match I thought Sevilla would normally be able to win the match. But more importantly, Sevilla's attacking players missed something spectacular. In terms of which defeat is normal. However, Manchester City felt the lack of Kebin DeBruina thoroughly.

Normally Sevilla has always been this very hard team that seems to be very tough to big teams, Sevilla can frustrate a team before even the team gets lucky to win at last. I was expecting Manchester City to play Sevilla without difficulties due to the squad they already have but the performance was not very impressive,  Sevilla played Manchester City a tough game, though I wasn't really expecting much like the way they played against Manchester City. I think luck was on the side of Manchester City to win the game at last. De Bruyne is a great player and have always contributed to the success of Manchester City in every game.
