At the start of the season, Chelsea fullbacks James and Chilwell were playing incredibly well both defensively and offensively and the team was flying. When both of them got injured, the whole system collapsed. Azpi and Alonso, currently playing on the wing, cannot do those jobs. When the transfer season is open, reinforcements are a must. James will be back in February, but Chilwell is out of the season and they need to get a new left wing fullback. Alonso is too slow now, all the opponents are marching on him. The league is gone for Chelsea, but there are still Champions League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup and Fifa Clubs Cup. Supplementation is a must.

Under their new manager Conte it seems Tottenham are a team that have their self-belief back.

Brentford played very well, they dominated the first half but failed to score. Manchester United came out a different team after the break and won quite comfortably but for the final few minutes of the game when Brentford scored a consolation goal.

The fight for the top 4 finish got more interesting tonight

Chelsea let their supporters down by drawing with Brighton yesterday. There were so many people who believed that they would be able to win this match this time. But they couldn't secure their 1-0 score advantage and it ended by 1-1. I accept that Brighton are one of the toughest teams to defeat away. But at least Chelsea should have been able to do this. By this result, Liverpool can consolidate their position in the standings much stronger now. Chelsea are likely to end this season at the third place as long as they keep going like this.

Recent Chelsea-Brighton games often end in a draw. Brighton has yet to win against Chelsea. Still, they played well yesterday and left with a draw. This result can be considered a success for Brighton. If Chelsea want to finish the season in better standings, they have to win games like this. You can't imagine if you can't win.

I agree, I think they should have tried to hire Conte because he is a passionate manager and displays all his emotions on the pitch and he expects his teams to portray his style on the pitch. He had a successful playing career especially at Juventus where he won the Champions League and he went on to manager them with great success including 3 consecutive Serie A titles before he went on to manage Italy for two years.

Conte was also a successful manager at Chelsea and at Inter therefore the conclusion is Tottenham should do well under his stewardship but the rumour is he will leave at the end of the season because of issues relating to his vision for the club versus that of the chairman Levy.

Now that Manchester United opted to not hire Conte they have a long list of candidates but they will not have a colourful CV like Conte.

Manchester United prefer to recruit a German coach who may be inspired by the success of Liverpool or Chelsea with his coach. They have chosen to spend a fortune on results that are not commensurate with the many coaches they have recruited in recent seasons. It looks bad because actually Manchester United could sign a top coach who is much better than their current coach like Conte or some other name.

They are said to be interested in the current Inter coach, but I don't see an agreement between the two yet. It might be good, but their movement is too slow.

But Man United did try to hire Conte to take over after giving Solksjaer the sack.  But the talks broke down as according to rumors, Conte wanted more control in who goes in and who goes out during the transfer market.  It’s funny tho cos I don’t think he’ll be getting more control as Tottenham either with Daniel Levy around.

And Poch..  It is said that he wants out of PSG cos he is just a coach and not a manager because he doesn’t have any say in the transfer business.  He is next in line to be Man United ‘manager’ if the rumors are true.  Lol.  He won’t be getting more control at Old Trafford either.

I really enjoyed the game it was pretty awesome and balanced. Both teams were attacking equally. In fact that has to be one of the maddest Premier league matches in a very long time. Both teams playing their hearts out, and a final twist deep in injury time I was wandering how Steve Bergwijn scored 2 goals in 2mins it's absolutely amazing. What an amazing comeback. Reminded me of Amsterdam arena in the Champion league against Ajax. Not as important but nonetheless special. I am beginning to feel the Conte effect. True grit and hustle, the boys never gave up and honestly they deserved the win.

I too really enjoyed the match. Just watched back the highlights. What a stunning match it was. Both team was on fire back to back with a goal in the first half. 2nd goal from Leicester city in the 2nd half was really awesome from James Maddison. Did not expect Tottenham to turn the match upside down. Kane was on fire from the beginning. Stephen BergwiJns two goals were really outstanding if you looked at. Yes he was the man of the match. Hope Tottenham will be on on top 3 very soon.

Harry Kane is in outstanding form. Lucas Moura continues to talk about his quality. A 3-2 away win despite the absence of a Son is tremendous work, there are a lot of missed positions. The Tottenham offensive line is working so well these days.

Both teams started out like 3-5-2, but despite being in the same formation, they have different understanding of the game. The issue is no longer a formation. It was important how well you made your formation changes, position shifts. It is very valuable for the players to understand the game plans and perform their duties fully. Although the two teams have similar templates, player profiles, individual talents, and coach touches have determined the difference.

I think they weren’t just rumors.  There could be a time when United was starting to see that Solksjaer wasn’t bringing in the results the board wanted, they were looking at all replacement possbilities.  The names that were thrown around were Zidane first and foremost, then Conte who both were out of the job.  Next was Poch and a couple of names.  Thinking more about it, United prolly had informal talks with Conte as there are some news going around that United was turned off by him because expected to be given a 250m GBP transfer budget for the next two summer transfer windows.  But then again that could be football journos writing shit again.

Report am hearing that Tottenham have agreed with Hugo Loris about a two year deal,was so happy when I saw it on the Sun this evening,and there is a source saying that it was Antonio Conte that confuse the veteran to sign  the contract,if so I don't believe that he(Conte) is leaving at the end of season,that might be if things work out well and Tottenham compete as a team that's growing to what the coach wants I think Harry Kane might sign a new contract to end all speculation of transfer following him

If they have a good coach now,every player will love to stay under him despite the speculations thet were surrounding them about trying to leave the club.
The next person that can just sign contract again Harry is Kane.Conte is positively influencing his players and that is very good.

The extension of the contract with Hugo Lloris is good news for Tottenham, because it means that the clubs are interested in each other and see prospects for continued cooperation. Personally, I do not believe that Antonio Conte will leave the club on his own initiative at the end of this season, because too little time has passed since the coach came to the club. No one denies the high professional qualities of Antonio Conte and the ability to achieve success with teams in a fairly short period of time, but also one should not deny some of the toxicity of his character in relations with the management of clubs. But it seems that it has not come to that yet and a lot depends on how the club will strengthen in this transfer window and how the club will fulfill its promises that it made when inviting Conte.

Yup.  Lol.    And Newcastle just won their match today against Leeds too.  Is a shift in momentum starting here?  I could see Newcastle and Norwich move up while Everton could be battling it out for a relegation scrap...  I did not see this happening.  If somebody told me Everton would be at risk of relegation during the start of the season I’d tell you to F off. 

And I think Everton respected Benitez too much.  Most clubs wouldn’t wait til after the holidays to give him the sack.

The match between Man Utd and West Ham made every one expect a goal at each and every moment from the beginning. Both teams were almost back to back with passes to near goals but really disappointed many times. Really expected the match to go drawn with 0:0. To be frank, it really turned bit boring to watch them with out a goal but yes then at 90th minute it was a stunning goal from Marcus Rashford. The passes were awesome starting from Ronaldo and to others and finally Rashford was so watchful and made it . Really appreciate the team.

Southampton 1-3 Manchester City

First half Manchester City had loss one goals by Southampton and had not changed until the start of this second half. It's still possible that your prediction is right, but I think Manchester City are struggling to score in this match. I don't think they will lose, maybe a draw but I still believe they will win.

My prediction for this game is 1-2, but let's see how Manchester City do it.
