That's a loss for me betting for Jose Zepeda but it's okay. It was so entertaining that it reached round 11.
Zepeda was tough, that is undoubtful. I think I can only give him two rounds in that fight, especially round 10. That was awesome.
But Prograis is controlling the pace in round 11, he keeps on moving his feet, throwing combos until he got Zepeda to lower his defense.
I guess fatigue had some effect too and Zepeda is not throwing many punches on that round until he was almost knocked down when the referee stopped it.

Congratulations to all the winners of this fight.

^^ Yes mate, I also lost on this one, I thought that Zepeda has something to offer and more, but he seems to be shot at 33 years of age. Both are tough, Prograis is obviously more durable and the fresher as we enter the 11th round and then score the knock out win.

Zepeda seems to be running out of gas, he has a good counter but not enough damage on Prograis that's why the accumulation of punches and fatigue really drain everything out of Chon. Congrats to Prograis, this is pretty much stack up division so let's see who will be next for him.

Lopez will fight against Martin in the next 2 weeks, the bookie listed Lopez is huge favorite with the odds 1.13x while Martin is an underdog with the odds 5.20x. However based on Martin performance, he's not really that weak since he have beat Mikey Garcia which is his biggest fight so far. Now he seems to be want a tougher challenge.

Again, Lopez shouldn't underestimate Martin.

Very interesting to see Lopez going back in the ring again for the second time this year, but then again it's a cherry pick fight.

Yes, Martin's resume included winning against Mikey Garcia, but then again when they fought Mikey is in the twilight of his career. And if I'm not mistaken, after this lost, he decided to quit for good. But I don't think that Martin can beat a prime Mikey Garcia, he is more tougher that anyone thought. His first defeat comes in the hands of Errol Spence when Mikey decided to move up and it was a disaster for facing the bigger and more younger Spence that time.

Yes, I guess we can indeed call this bout as a cherry-picked fight for Teo Lopez but this is an important fight for him too because this will be Teo's preparation before he will face either of the three champions. Currently, Lopez sits 4th of the super-light rankings while Martin is at 5th. And I'm seeing that Teo is also defending the regular belt of WBO super-light.

I guess I learned new today because I haven't know that there's a regular champion existing for the WBO belt as I only knew about the WBA regular belt that Gervonta had in the lower division. I did traced it why Lopez got that belt when in fact this bout is just his 2nd fight since he moved up and I saw that he got it against Pedro Campa because the belt was vacate at that time. Regarding to this topic for Teo's 2nd bout, I guess he won't have some hardships as well because Sandor Martin is not that much of a threat but it is better if he wouldn't underestimate him though.

It is obvious that Teofimo Lopez will be the favorite here.  I think this won't be a walk-in-the-park fight for Lopez because Martin had proven himself to be a tough boxer.  He maybe lost 2 fights but those are via decisions.  But I think it is also isn't a tough fight for Teofimo because Martin's records show that he isn't that heavy hitter.  I think the fight would go to distance testing each boxer's stamina.

Again, Lopez shouldn't underestimate Martin.

I believe Lopez learned his lesson well when he lost to George Kambosos.  So we will see Lopez  on guard all the time.

Very interesting to see Lopez going back in the ring again for the second time this year, but then again it's a cherry pick fight.

Obviously, as this will warm him up, since there are news roaming the internet that Bill Haney Calls Teofimo  Lopez Sr. for the possible Haney - Lopez Jr match  provided that they both win their next match.[1]

^^ I thought that Devin Haney or at least their team is looking for Loma next at 135 lbs?

If they are calling Teo then they needed to go up at 140 lbs, which I think Devin doesn't have a problem. In any case, there could be some personal reasons for this, father vs father, might be a interesting story line. They will do the talking here as both very lively in the media.

So let's see first, Haney has a difficult fight in front of him in Loma 2023.

I also expecting him to face Loma after both wins from their respective fight, not sure if they change route but if there's any updates regarding to this potential fight we will hear it next year, whatever the decisions coming from his camp then so be it. As long as Haney will produce interesting fight fans will be there to watch him inside the ring.

Though, there's still pressure with Loma as he's chasing for the belts and Haney is the current holder that he needs to challenge and beat.

But let's see, sometimes this cherry pick fight backfire on them as their opponent has nothing to lose.

The fight between Zepeda and Prograis, is very entertaining indeed but Prograis dominated the fight.

Well, he is giving himself false hope in cherry-picking opponents but if bullying will give him the confidence to move forward in getting to an upper division maybe this will give him something, but yeah this nit-picking can sometimes backfires at you, let's just wait if Sandor Martin can pull an upset, this is boxing after all,

In the Zepeda and Prograis fight, I really thought that Jose Zepeda was doing great landing shots at 1st getting his opening, as soon Regis Prograis have seen his opening by landing big shots he even stop some of Zepeda's punches, and in the progressing rounds Prograis really did see his length and even though Zepeda is hurt you can still see him counters I really think he is a real warrior in what he has shown but yeah Prograis just seen what he really must do with the fight,

He is the favorite to win again because this is cherry-picked by him that is, Teofimo Lopez is beefed up for this fight he is really readying in progressing up the division his real target was the belt all along, well I guess he wants to get a multi-division belt as well before he retires, I really think he will also go the distance and I am guessing that Teofimo is expecting that to happen to ready himself to a much bigger opponent because Campa he just threaded him with ease this will surely will be a more different fight but still Lopez is in the advantage,

Yes, and Zepeda's urgency to get back in the scorecards is not seen. He is not that aggressive anymore in the last round of the game except for that round 10. His corner might be feeding him the wrong information about how he is behind so that he could be pushed to throw more punches.
One jab then defense, that's all he did in round 11 while Prograis is circling around trying to look for an opening.
Even if it went to a decision, it's obvious who will win the match.

Moving on, what's our next big fight?

Moving on, what's our next big fight?
I don't really know what's the criteria of big fight do you want, if you're only looking for popular boxers then it's a lot but the odds is really small and doesn't worth to bet since it's less than 1.15x like Tyson Fury, Teofimo Lopez, Terence Crawford and Naoya Inoue.

But if you're looking for better odds you can check a fight between Chocolatito vs Estrada, Charlo vs Tszyu and Warrington vs Luiz Lopez. There's so many fights from popular boxers will happen in this month.

5 days left but their odds is not yet listed on my betting platform, maybe the bookies will list this bout in like 48 hours before their fight begins. This is interesting to see because it is somehow personal for Casimero because he need to avenge his fellow countrymen who fell in the hands of Akaho and this fight will determine Casimero's future in the industry. Failure to win will cause him his career.

Moving on, what's our next big fight?

In this weight class? a lot mate, Jose Ramirez will be the next or should be the next. This is the belt that Ramirez used to hold, and that he lost it to Josh Taylor. And seen Josh Taylor vacated it, Prograis and Zepeda fought for it and not Prograis has the belt.

And according to Prograis, he has been avoided by Jose Ramirez for so long but their fight is inevitable.

There is also the second mandatory fight, Teo Lopez vs  Martin, so the winner can also be the potential fight for Prograis in the future.

^^ I thought that Devin Haney or at least their team is looking for Loma next at 135 lbs?

Devin Haney is currently into negotiation to have a possible match agains Lomachenco[1]

Quote
For his part, undisputed lightweight champion Haney (29-0, 15 KOs) is negotiating a fight against Vasyl Lomachenko for a match that will take place in early 2023.

So it is possible that the fight of Teofimo Lopez Jr.  and Devin Haney will be scheduled after Lomachenco vs Haney (if both camps agreed to the deal)

If they are calling Teo then they needed to go up at 140 lbs, which I think Devin doesn't have a problem. In any case, there could be some personal reasons for this, father vs father, might be a interesting story line. They will do the talking here as both very lively in the media.

I do not think that they will fight on 140 lbs.  There is no sense if there is no title at stake.  So I think they will make it out on 135 lbs to cater to more interest and reactions from viewers and fans.

So let's see first, Haney has a difficult fight in front of him in Loma 2023.

There are rumors roaming around the boxing industry that Lomachenco's boxing style would render Devin Haney's defensive style useless.  I could have put the link to the said rumor but somehow I can't find it anymore.  Either way, I am very interested in whether this rumor is true or not so I hope the negotiation between Devin Haney's camp and Vasily Lomachenco's will have a positive result.

Speaking of crypto-bookies possibility listing of this fight, I share my thought about that here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5417421.msg61363391#msg61363391 .

To summarize, I think there's a possibility that this fight won't be listed in crypto-bookies although it's just my guess.

Still, we will wait and hope that it will be listed.

There is no doubt that it's only for us PH community that this fight is hyped as we witness what Quadro Alas went through and being stripped of his WBO title because of his weight-related problem, medical condition, and violating some rules. We are disappointed that he should be supposed to be the one facing the Monster Naoya Inoue in the Bantamweight Unification Match next month and not Paul Butler. Well then, Casimero has no room for losing this match. Winning that fight will open his chance to climb up the ranks in order to be involved again in the contender discussion.

I haven't seen the link as well but I will speculate that it has something to do with Loma's amazing footwork and angles, and if Haney wanted to win then he could come up as the aggressor because he is big and tall and has the reach advantage.

On the other hand, there are boxing analyst who says that Loma's performance against Ortiz is not as we have expect of him.

And that Haney is going to defeat him if he shows that version if the two fight next year.
