The experience that many players have here playing is giving them an edge. I like to see when people recognize mistakes that cost them and from the experience avoid such from happening again. There was no last season for me, this is my first season and everything I am learning is from this season. I may not do as I expect this season, but I am pushing to see how well I can do in my first season.

Well, it’s an edge to have those seasons of experience on your belt but, it plays out more in your use of them wildcards, Tripple captain, free point hits, bench boost and how you maximize the double game weeks. The rest is just how familiar and up to date you are with the league and players.
Can’t say your doing any badly. Last season was my first, stayed close to the prices positions as could be, won fee game weeks but that was it. Don’t thinking your doing any badly but, you still have to watch it.

Jackson is only one yellow card away from suspension. GET Alvarez for your piece of mind; he's in the best shape of his life right now, and with KDB and Kovasic out, he'll always play behind Halaand; he's the team's best creator right now. I might also get him.

This is very reasonable, Alvarez has been very consistent for Manchester City but he has only scored two goals in the premier league and Erling Haaland with seven goals making him the top scorer presently.

Alvarez is trying to seal his place on the team and be very relevant and you can agree that his being doing just that perfectly. Either creating assists or scoring goals and you can agree that, his by far going to be futures more this season with the network his constantly building with E. Haaland on the pitch. We see that and Peps is leveraging it as only him could, a perfect game so far for his team.

I don't think Alvarez is still trying to secure his place in the Manchester City's squad he's already got his place already, and with Bernardo Silva out injured, Alvarez is probably Man City best chance creator, perhaps along side Rodri, and De Bruyne is out for the rest of the year, so aside Haaland, Rodri and Ederson, there is no one else with a guaranteed spot that Alvarez. It's just all about what Guardiola does so very often, which rotate his squad but he doesn't quite have that luxury for now btw.

I know that Rodri is a defensive midfielder however he is playing closer to scoring goals this season. When we think his price as well I'm thinking of adding Rodri to my squad to add Salah as well. I'm really very regretful so far for not starting the season with Salah and for selling Son a short time before he surged in.

We'll never really know which players are going to shine and which are going to do poorly. I bet on Trippier and Burn earlier but they kept conceding goals and losing me points. After a couple of 0-1 average points return from both of them, I transferred them out and right now, it seems they're doing well with 3-4 good fixtures coming. This is the reason why I'm still betting on Martineli (when he's back from injury) and Rashford because they might have poor returns now, and good times later.

For Salah, I knew he was always going to shine. Just didn't have enough money to get him. If I can shave enough money off from selling priced players, I'll go back for Salah. Good bargain to me. Always been.

Things could change, but he's most likely the man of the moment, and I don't see Pep destroying that, but we can't be sure. Pep plays FPL and understands how things operate. I hope Alvarez is on his team since that's the only way we'll see more of him.

Not a bad asset to own, but with Pep in the driving  seat, the cost of missing out on valuable points is high because this team is known for non stop rotations regardless of splendid performances by a player.

You are right. However I think that Rodri is thinking about scoring goals much more this season. And I don't think it would be a surprise in case he reaches 7-8 goals.

I'm a little comfortable about this topic because of buying Bryan Mbeumo for only 6.5 million at the beginning of the season. However this isn't enough only by itself. I might need to give up on Ederson and Trippier as well.

Bernando Silva out for Manchester City due to injuries, Jack Grealish returns from injury and may play against Nottingham Forest.

Manchester City where doing well even with out him, and now that he is back, he will have to struggle to keep his place in Pep's team. Alvarez will still keep starting.

Looking at the season so far defenses have not been the best point earning mechanism so far, because even the teams haven't been consistently keeping clean sheets. So downgrading your defense for a better attacking prospect in the midfield or forward line isn't necessarily a bad move to be honest.

I've decided to call in my wildcard for some really strange moves and reasons, but then it's a risk reward and/or logic or aggressive or conservation whichever one it is, I believe each of this criteria is needed at some point in the season to get the maximum benefit at the end of the day.

Regarding Rodri, I’m sure you Guardiola well enough, Rodri isn’t what Rodri usually was in previous years, he’s being deployed in more forward center role now, he had 2 goals and 6 assist in the PL last season meanwhile, he’s already scored 3 goals and 2 assists in just 8 games in all tournament this season, the only counter argument imo is wouldn’t you rather another City player instead due to max 3 players per team, if it were more then Rodri would likely be on my team, he more like the new Gundogan for City, so imo it’s not about where we think he plays, that’s the same reason why almost no one have Walker on the team despite being wing back, because he’s less concerned with the attack according to Guardiola’s tactics.

I didn't think it was important for me to hit the wildcard at this point in the season, so I took my first hit of the season instead, selling Saka and Bruno to get both Salah and Luiz, who are both on the PK role.

I've got 3 of them too, I ditched Saka, Foden looked like must have asset for the time being for me, and Saka points have not been huge haul too, but I'm sure I might not be long on him or Rashford for maybe Maddison or back to Saka, depending on how the trend goes.

Watching the game and seeing the ref show Rodri a Red just reminded me of you wanting to bring him into your team..btw was the physical confrontation really necessary when the second half just started and his team was 2 nil up
Now with Rodri out he makes it awkward for Manchester city assets to score more points as Nottingham forest will try to make something out of this...

There isn't a Gk in game that started with price lower then 4.0. Otherwise everybody would have him.

"Perfect" FPL day, everybody brings in Alvarez he gets one pointer. Now it is time for Jackson to haul. My transfers Edouard, Botman and Mbuemo also look like total miss. Botman is probably even injured and that also means Chilwell will haul tomorrow.

Great. I took off Leno for Onana for this game week because I felt he was going to concede against Palace but man kept a clean sheet and extra bonus points for >3 saves. I hope Onana can repay me with a cleansheet against Burnley otherwise - > bench till further notice. I hope UCL mistakes is enough to make him learn and impress fans today.

And you get that for just 4m, I think I'd rate Areola over Leno, that's a personal choice though...

Quite a silent day and trouble in paradise for the expectation that was required of Brentford, you'd expect an easy day in the office for Mbuemo and Yoane Wissa, or at least them keeping it tidy defensively, but rather it was a cold day in hell for them.

I was only talking about getting a low-value GK at this stage and strengthening the attack instead, because none of these GKs can keep clean sheets for three games in a row. ( things could change soon though). The cheapest GK is Everton second choice at £3.9m

With only three players on the pitch today, I already have 15 points from Halaand and Alvarez (Lol), and I'm waiting for Onana clean sheets.

And you get that for just 4m, I think I'd rate Areola over Leno, that's a personal choice though...
