Shouldn't Aston Villla have had at least one penalty kick in the first 45 minutes of this game ? I really don't understand what VAR does in the EPL or when it gets to suggest that the referee should take a look at the monitor on the sideline ? I mean the referee clearly would given one of those calls if was asked or allowed to see the replay, but VAR gets to decide what should and shouldn't be looked at again for a second opinion ??!

Even if any other situations didn't warrant a penalty, I'm of the opinion that the penalty should've been given for that push of Watkins by the Sheffield defense in the first half. All calls to VAR checks often returned with "no further actions" even in the second half. I'm not a Villa fan but it seemed unfair from my POV.

Watkins captaincy should've rewarded us with a goal and an assist but VAR didn't allow either. I expected more from Villa and Watkins but Sheffield put up a very strong defensive performance.

I might just have a rough week after all, don’t know how I managed to miss the Crystal Palace vs Brighton Hove Albion of yesterday. Just like that, I missed the chance of making any good changes to my team, having Trippier, Taylor and Solanke on my bench while Kabore is left on the pitch, along with Branthwaite in a GW I’m expecting Son to score with either a brace or at least get a goal and 2 assist. He ought yo have got my captaincy instead of M. Salah for the game week as Liverpool wouldn’t be finding any easy game with Arsenal.

Watkins for a captain, well, it’s wasn’t an out of place option for a home side game and against a team like Sheffield but, I’m sure it’s a regrettable option right now.

Sacking him just might not have much effect than to get them a step backward but. That could as well be some place for a start. A step to recount on and look for a forward in the new management.
Still, I must say ETH came in strong with a more of a disciplinary approach to setting the his boys on the path to good performance with Rashford being a key to his squad. Now, Rashford equals nothing and it doesn’t seem like his got any tactics in his play book. Manchester United don’t play like a team, they are just about trier and errors as it is. No particular first eleven, I mean, what can anyone make of that?
Records aren’t going to keep him eventually, EPL just happened to him!

I apparently would have had to make some good chances that I knew could have helped and all I can do now is just look my team without any objectivism about it. In fact, my bench seems to be having more points than my on pitch players and Solanke with a hat trick today while on my bench as a 2nd Sub, that’s just awful.

I'm very happy that Solanke is in my fantasy squad. Transferring him on GW13 not only maintained my budget but also made me win extra points. I made Watkins the captain. However I couldn't get the contribution I wanted from him unfortunately. Besides when I saw the number of points the players on my bench collected I got a little regretful. I wish I had Areola in my squad.

Liverpool have been dominant in this second half, I might put a few bucks on them to win this despite being just 16 minutes left to for in the game, Arsenal are looking rather very unsettled and that's always a recipe for disaster if you're playing againt Liverpool.

I have to agree on that, Liverpool were the better team but that was in the second half imo, so overall it was a close one, and the draw only seem if the entire game is put into consideration, Arsenal were very bright in the first half and could have had a 2-3 goals in the first instead of just that 1, after the break was when they became completely disorganized in attack and defensively, Bukayo Saka looks to me like nothing more than just someone who had the ball being passed to alot, asides that it was just a completely off day for him.

Tough week for me. After letting emotions get the best of me and making one too many transfers, I ended up giving Watkins my captain instead of Salah, Son or Solanke. I would've been higher in the league if I just took a chill pill and let things be as is.

I still have 2 more players for Chelsea's game. I hope Jackson and Palmer can do enough to give me some much needed points ro to boost my stats.

Nkunku isn't a replacement for Nicola Jackson, he's rather a player that'd perfectly complement Nicolas Jackson, If the preseason matches are anything to go by and what Poch's ideology was during those games were. Nkunku would player rightly behind Jackson as a Second Striker or an AMF, if he chooses to play a 4-2-3-1 formation, it's only to be figured out whose position in the midfield would be sacrificed, Enzo, Caceido or is it going be Gallagher ?

That said, Poch could already have a completely different approach and play Nkunku as the Centre Forward in place of Jackson, I really just don't see that as the best decision from my POV.

Saka should have been redcarded and we deserved a win - which TAA should have secured.

He's been good for me the whole season, I'll rarely replace him. He wins points through a lot of things, which Haaland does not.

Classic FPL ending to GW with both Palmer and Sterling getting yellow cards to pile up the pressure for the upcoming GW. Should be some problems especially for those that have Tsimikas as well.


Those problems did not touch our GW winner Brahim012. Gabriel 10 pointer and Areola in the team were the players that brought this success for him. Congratulations man.
