Yesterday i tried to wildcard for the first time, and man... that was quite hard to do, i ended up not doing the movements, the problem was i want to make space for Haaland, but it was impossible to do without losing so much key players.

About Palmer, i think is one of the best players in the ratio money spend/points, and also i think he have a good future for the rest of the season. Sterling is good i have him, but is expensive, and more thinking about when Chelsea is not doing so good.

To have Halaand in your side, you must downgrade your backline; every team is terrible at keeping clean sheets, so having low-budget players at the back with a strong midfield and attack will still get you decent points.

Not having Halaand is going to bite you a lot this season, and you'll need to be a completely differential specialist to survive. The longer you wait, the more difficult it becomes.

To be fair that is on you. When I am first on the table it goes to my advantage if you all do the same decisions as myself So I just do the best decision possible and if you copy I keep my advantage and if you don't copy and miss it you fall even further behind.

And by the way, difference between them is 3 points, hardly something to stress about. Did not watch Liverpool but from the stats and what cryptofrka told me, Liverpool should have scored quite a few more. Probably some of those were Salah chances as well.

There were chances that Salah could make a score contribution however he was unlucky. I also think that Salah is the most logical captain for the matches on this week. I see that Trent Alexander-Arnold isn't in your squad. Do you think of transferring him on the upcoming weeks? Because as it is shown in the image below he is making one win really good amount of points on the recent weeks.

Shit, I made so many bad choices recently. I had both Sterling and Palmer out due to suspensions and I swear to God, I told myself I'm gonnna take Garnacho as soon as possible after seeing him play vs Liverpool.

This was a perfect opportunity to do it, but I calculated and sad to myself that Villa is a tough game - I'll do it afterwards, I need to replace Son and Salah anyway.
So I went with Gusto instead of Tsimikas, Garnacho scored a million of points, I need to remove Romero and Garnacho's price will now rise - and I will probably have to wildcard soon to be able to replace both Son and Salah.

I don't know how I'm still top 10 - considering that Haaland's not playing, I won't be after this GW.

Probably not, his price point is just way too difficult to accommodate without multiple transfers and I feel like he would stop scoring as soon as I get him. If I had enough money to change Tsimikas to Arnold this week I would have done it. Now it is only a possibility if Haaland is confirmed out for Sheffield. If i was on wildcard I would take him no questions asked but when you start to add transfer costs and opportunity lost into equation then it is probably better to skip.

Hee Chan saved me from the red arrow after my wrong captain decision + Halaand playing zero minutes, claimed a few spots forward, so it was a good GW. Now I have Onana and Hee Chan to think about.

Saliba hasn't been good since I got him. Arsenal has forgotten how to keep a clean sheet. When is the Asian cup starting?

I left my best asset on the bench, Areola but who would have willingly put Duvbraka on the bench and Areola to start with for a game week like this ? I even brought in Trippier for their damn fixture.

They are playing against some of the best attacks in the league in Liverpool, City and Villa at the time where they are totally out of form. To make it worse only City is at home.

I have Trippier and Gordon in my squad and if I did not need transfers to handle Salah and Son I would kick them out this week without second thought. As it is I will probably keep one or both on the bench for time after those 3 GW. That is the time Newcastle gets good fixtures and I expect them to be back to the old form by then.

Average is 38 according to my screen so I didn't do THAT well. I honestly meant to play Wild Card but I've been having a brain fog this whole week turns out I was actually sick heh. At least I used the card well and recouped a bit.

Now back to my old team, have to put out the final 2 injured players, swapping Hwang and Luis Diaz in.

I had two transfers and one was going to waste either way so I brought him for a potential in the game since I have Duvbraka already, I hoped to maximise the probable returns, I didn't have payers I wanted for a long term basis at that point, so it was an easy Trippier in, Trippier out back to back gw, with transfers that were likley going to waste anyways. It just didn't turnout how I anticipated.

I'm happy for rising to the 2nd position. However like you said as well I have to change so many players in my team because of AFCON and AFC Asian Cup. I assume that I can use my 2nd wildcard right away after it comes. Just because for not using my wildcard I don't want to make 3-4 additional transfers.

I assume that I can use my 2nd wildcard right away after it comes. Just because for not using my wildcard I don't want to make 3-4 additional transfers.

Of course you can use your wildcard as soon as you get it but that means no more wildcard this season. Son and Salah will also come back from those tournaments at the same time Newcastle will embark on nice set of fixtures. This is really though period to navigate and I am quite pissed at myself for spending one transfer to remove Tsimikas. I should have just left him on the bench till wildcard.
