Whether CinniCoin's dev is well-intentioned or not, the only relevant question at this point is whether he's the right person to manage the recovery of this coin.

The results speak for themselves: CINNI is drifting toward the 2's on mintpal.

I think battbot and other dearly, departed insiders knew something many of us didn't, or denied to ourselves.

Forget the push towards the "anonymous crap".  Focus on building out the encryption messaging suite.  And use those tools to target freelancers.  Freelancers want better ways to bill customers/clients and not have to deal with transaction fees and someone else controlling flow of funds.  There needs to be a focus on targeting freelancers and people who do billable work (invoicing).  Why follow the "crowd" when you can blaze your own trail with a carefully focused direction.

I started this work about 3 days ago, I'm thinking to update blockchain every few days to support cinni. I believe in Cinni. I want more people try it! But with 15 seconds block, there are more than 400k blocks to sync first time, so I want to help newbie or who want try cinnicoin fast and easy in about 2-3 hours to download file and import in a new client. If you appreciate my work I can continue, if people don't want I stop without problem. This is only to support coin in my free time. I believe in this coin , I can't help developer because I don't know how programming, but update blockchain and put a mega link or register a domain if you interest like cinniblock.com or something else to help first sync, I can do.
Let me know if is a good or bad idea... so ... I can spend my time in this mode or something else

Should https://twitter.com/CinniTeam be used to only discuss CINNI or should it include bitcoin related news as well?

My thoughts are that our primary focus should be to grow the community CINNI. By retweeting breaking crypto currency (often bitcoin related) news and events we may be able to gain some new followers who have not yet heard of CINNI.

More CINNI giveaways will be coming soon and in increasing amounts it if appears they are growing interest in CINNI

I personally think that BTC is the clear market leader to such an extent that it doesn't even seem like competition at all, much like gold or fiat. So from a marketing standpoint, I'm totally okay w/ BTC being discussed. In fact, I even like it, since it won't alienate people in the way that exclusively talking about Cinni would. Value is added by discussing something the audience has a pre-established interest in, and thus Cinni is put into a positive light via association.

Ive waited for so long so i might as well just hold hold my coins, value not worth me dumping them, and im making good money on other coins, so dont really have that much to lose anyways.

I also had this problem. Actually you'll find my answer extremely frustrating, but i just let it sync even if it was stuck. It was very slow, and then when I closed it and came back few hours after, the wallet sync in 2 minutes. Very weird.

PS: I used the link for myself. I verified quickly the profile of the poster, and then used it. Nothing happened so far.

Cinni has a good dev and an active community. Things are tense right now because of many people expected the dev to be a superstar programmer. However instead of fake dev that hype himself up, we have real hard working dev that is honest and humble.

Cinni is far from dead. The only negative thing is that the price has fallen so deep. But I believe Cinni is about to skyrocket, it's just a matter of time.
