According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in
Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it
will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I've heard some people received Cloak and BC from Mintpal yesterday. Is it true ? Any one received any coins from Mintpal yet ? Maybe they start with Cinni soon.

I have received my BC and EMC2 Cinni still stuck somewhere BTC and KARM still in process (if they really did) Whats going on with Mintpal? i cant see anything just some box telling me to write notes on my account ??
If you have coin there, you should have coin's balance and a box to put your coin address (for withdrawal) User note for any issue if you have any, like no balance, or balance is not correct ect

please help. mintpal is sending fake transaction id not appear in blockchain. can someone tell them how to go to the correct chain and send me my cinni? please i don't want to lose my cinni
Mintpal CEO has stolen most of the coins. 3700 BTCs are gone + altcoins like KARM, CINNI in cold storage. Cinnidev has already said before that Mintpal uses cold storage for Cinni. So its unlikely you will get them back. Hopefully you didnt lose much, its been mentioned before to use the wallet and other exchanges and to avoid mintpal. The only coins getting returned is the what the left behind staff were able to get access to, everything else Alex Green has control and not likely to give them back, Mintpal is his biggest scam to date. Hayes continued, explaining that after accusations had started to fly that Alex Green was a scammer, he learned a horrifying piece of information from MintPal’s former owners.
“I immediately got in touch with Mike, and Ferdous; the main shareholders in MintPal. They were as shellshocked by all of this information as I was. They then revealed to me something far more dangerous; Ryan is currently in complete control of the MintPal system, inclusive of the cold storage wallets. Coupled with this, over 1000 BTC in altcoins were not transferred in the “server migration”; and would have been lost forever if MintPal’s previous owners (Jay and Jason) did not reach out to the server host.”
Furthermore, Hayes learned that Green did not log into the MintPal system a single time from his given United Kingdom address. No one knows where Green is at the moment, and the only hope is that the United States Department of Justice or the Securities and Exchange Commission can track him down. If coins from mintpal are not returned then a priority should be to consider blacklisting the mintpal addresses and prevent processing of any transactions from those addresses. People who used mintpal and kept cinni are not going to see them back and should Ryan/Alex/Moolah get caught or somehow pay out what is owed it can be reversed to allow that but in meantime it will prevent the scammer from being able to send his stolen Cinni to other exchanges to dump on. Will also prevent him from having a majority share of the new Cinni2.0/timebank where the same situation would also exist as a result.

Hello I have tried to contact Mintpal many times but no one replies. Personally I have ~700k Cinni stuck there. Have them there because I was buying from myself to create volume for Cinni a few weeks ago also bought alot more coins than I previously had. Then Mintpal stopped withdrawals in v2 so I couldn't get them out. And now they sent them on a wrong chain so I tried to contact them to fix it but no one working there replied.
Also I will be be traveling for about a week and won't have internet.

Well Idk about everyone else but when i log in to mintpal it still shows my cinni balance.
Theoretically that means moolah/mintpal knows exactly what is owed to everyone and the addresses for cold storage.
that means it is technically possible (although maybe infeasible) for moolah and cinni dev to email everyone with a cinni balance a new unique private key, which everyone imports into a new wallet, hardfork the chain and destroy all the mintpal coins/addresses/block transactions and create replica coins sent immediately to the addresses owned by the private key. Then everyone moves there coins to their own addresses with a different private key since its not really private anymore.
Probably some more technical detail needed but i think this would do the trick.

I'd like to hear a reply from dev about this idea.

This is a gong show... dev, bad time to take a trip with no internet - just saying As for the wallet, is that functional? I've had it open for 3 days and it still hasn't synced. I'm assuming we can use the bootstrap above? My balance is showing on MP V2 but I'm not sure I want to send them anywhere until this whole 'wrong blockchain' issue gets resolved. What is the most current AND detailed info someone could provide regarding this situation.. I'm assuming the snap is getting pushed back once again?!? sigh..
