If you're not familiar with the Bitshare world, do yourself a favor and look into it:

Must have been plenty of arguments against Mintpal de-listing a bunch of coins for V2. All coins are being carried over into in the v2 launch and wont be de-listed unless they meet the criteria.

The short term roadmap/timeline:

  • Add DPOS, aliases, stealth addresses to Cinni. Switching to DPOS would fix all transaction and staking problems. Also in my opinion DPOS is a lot better than normal POS. The alias system would allow people to send coins to aliases instead of addresses, the stealth addresses are for anonymity
  • Launch a beta so people can test on a test chain before the actual release
  • Since switching to a new DPOS chain would require a snapshot, a snapshot would happen before the DPOS update.
Of course since this would cost the exchanges time, I will compensate them for the time they spend on participating in the snapshot from my own money. The snapshot will be very close to the release time of the DPOS update release so exchanges can stop the deposit/withdrawal from the old chain so people don't sell Cinni from the old chain on the market.
  • Release the DPOS update
  • Make a new website for Cinni since I do not have access to the current one.

  • Make a website for the TimeBank DAC
  • Launch the TimeBank DAC beta for people to test it before launch
  • Make a snapshot of Cinni, Bitshares PTS, and Bitshares AGS for the distribution of the TimeBank DAC
  • Launch the TimeBank DAC
  • Make the betting system for TimeBank. The betting system is on time-based things. The longer the bet is, the more it would cost to make. So it will be sort of like a prediction market based on the time it takes for certain things to happen.
Someone can make a bet on how long it takes btc to pass $500 on Bitstamp and it can use a feed to see if btc is $500.

Cinni has 2 more devs on the dev team. We are working as fast as we can and will make sure everything works well.
Thank you for supporting Cinni.

i like cinni
its a good coin. i wouldn't sell at this price or even 10x this price  Smiley cinni will go to 100k  Smiley
the worst thing you can do is sell now at 817 satoshi. its better if you buy more now instead.

You're right. Cinni is worth a lot more. 1k Sat is ridiculous price at the moment.

The idea of a snapshot is fairly unique in the history of crypto coins - I'm sure many of us would like to hear more about the details of how that might work as a mechanism in the process of moving to DPOS.

If I may interject my opinion on this Timeshare project.
As I understand it, Cinni holders will get a 10:1 ratio for the snap shot.
Now that is all fine and dandy. But wouldn't be a wise decision and get new faces into the project by also allowing PTS/AGS holders to get a cut, that is part of the Bitshare consensus?
By doing so your giving this project a HUGE amount of potential backing by introducing that eco system into the mix.

A good ratio IMO would be 80/20.
80% to Cinni wallet holders (8:1)
10% to PTS holders and 10% to AGS holders

Of course you're not OBLIGATED to include PTS/AGS holders.
But, on the other hand, I think you'd be shooting this project in the foot by not including them. Just forking Bitshares wouldn't be a wise move. There's no incentive.

Outside of Timeshares, have you thought about doing a bitCINNI asset. That would be another way to get things going!

again, just opinion.

If someone gets a gift of shares - it only lower the potential value of the shares. In addition, those who receive the gift of shares, they may want to sell quickly and cause a core dump.

You'll always have dumps!! No matter what crypto it is.
Obviously with the ratio's I've stated earlier (80/20) current Cinni holders would get the largest cut.
PTS/AGS holders will get enough to get them interested. If not, then when/if they dump it won't be catastrophic to the value.

Hi Cinni community! I'm a long-time member of the Bitshares community, and I just wanted to say thanks for the PTS/AGS drop! I'm sure you won't regret it. If you're worried about dumping, you might consider the possibility of a phased introduction of the PTS/AGS coins. Technically, I don't know how hard this would be to introduce into the Bitshares code, but when FreeTrade launched Lottoshares a few months ago he made it so that PTS/AGS holders wouldn't get access to their coins until some random time after coin's launch. You could do the same thing, and you'd still be following the Bitshares social consensus but you wouldn't have to worry about a bunch of community newcomers dumping before TimeBank has proved its worth.

Anyway, excited to see how this turns out! I'm certainly looking forward to being part of the first Bitshares fork.

Hey
Yes you will still be eligible to receive TimeBank. The TimeBank snapshot didn't happen yet, I'll make an update saying when the snapshot for that will happen.

Also right now I'm switching Cinni's POS to DPOS, you can read more in the roadmap here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=573232.msg8864170#msg8864170
Switching to DPOS will fix all the staking and transaction problems Cinni currently has. Due to suggestions people made, the upgrade to DPOS will be first.

Personally I think that bithares idea is great and I love it, imagine no banks, no exchanges who rip us off, in the future even no parliaments.

1. https://vimeo.com/93168807

2. http://vimeo.com/101728224

I'm glad that our developer goes in that direction.

http://crypt.la/2014/04/18/bitshares-believer/

Even when Cinnidev going to give a "tip", 20% of Timebank, most of bitshare holders still don't really like it, https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=8611.0

I don't blame them, everyone prefer monopoly, the same as bitcoin don't really like altcoins  Wink

PS.

I'm in crypto world long enough to know that's the only way to make our future better.

I make almost 70% profit in 120 days doing nothing and I still can't believe it thinking it is to good to be true but it happens I can

recommend to everyone:

https://bitcoin-trader.biz/?ref=pawlo74

Now, how much your bank gives you ??  3% or less in 365 days (a year) ?

All possible because of Bitcoin. I knew the Bitcoin is a big thing long long time ago almost from beginning but I missed the train with Bitcoin, with

Bitshares I'm not going to  Smiley
