I'm getting a "503- Service Not Available" error after following these steps. Any suggestions?

Try doing a
Code:
sudo service lighttpd restart

503 is probably the lighttpd not running.

I did a restart of lighttpd and followed the guide exactly. I do have a backup image but would like to fix the web interface without downtime.

When you restart do you see:
[ ok ] Stopping web server: lighttpd.
[ ok ] Starting web server: lighttpd.

?

I get [ok] on both.

lighttpd is up, so take a look at /var/log/lighttpd/error.log  see if anything sticks out as the issue.

Here's some of the output, as it just repeats.

Anybody else seeing connections go stale and stay that way on nicehash?. Only affecting the Gridseeds I have on Minera. Seems they've made some changes. I moved to wafflepool to test with no issue but returning to nicehash will eventually have all Gridseeds in idle not earning Sad

Anybody else runs mix of Gridseed Minis mixed with G-Blades on one Raspi and Minera? Any issues?

Pool information gets corrupted and I have to restart my miner every hour or so because Minera tries to reach empty or invalid server address...

Things I've tried:

1. Re-downloaded and re-burned Minera to different SD cards as well as doing this on different computers / browser platforms.
2. Moved and mixed different pool configs, even tried fresh config with one pool only (no failover).
3. Unchecked all unnecessary settings like Auto-tune, Auto-Restart, disabled log etc.
4. Unplug / plug / reset / reboot complete system, etc. Other monitoring software like Hashra Controla works with no issues.

my suggestion could be try without the Blades connected and see if it happens again, because I really don't know what's going on there. Before, enable also debug log and leave it running. As soon as the issue happens look at your log file and get the relevant part (for example the lines before and after it switches to a http(null) pool could be useful).
Then don't use "http://" in front of the pool url (while I don't think that could be a problem) and don't use two equal pool urls. And finally check you have the "--retries=1" option set.

Minera supports what CPUMiner-gc3355 supports. So by now I don't think it.

Has anyone successfully solo mined from the RPI/minera to a computer that has a wallet server running?

I disabled both my software firewall and router firewall.

Copied my 42 coin data directory over to a HDD where it can read/write to for solo mining.

Then added -datadir=D:\42 cmd to the target line of the 42 shortcut.

Inside the new 42 directory I created a 42.conf file and inside it, I put

server=1
daemon=1
listen=1
rpcuser=username
rpcpassword=password
rpcallowip=*
rpcport=19451

Minera finds the Pool alive but always moves over the failover pools after 300 seconds or so. Like it doesn't want to mine solo from minera.

I had the same problem with another wallet server called neocoin.

I attempted to solomine dogecoin, but failed.  I believe it was me failing somehow though

Hi,

I have just a few problem, It has been small week since my gridseed stops rather often and it is necessary that I restart them.

When I go on my Minera page, I have one sentence which displays:
DataTables warning: table id=miner-table-details - Cannot reinitialise DataTable. For more information about this error, please see http://datatables.net/tn/3

Try a manual update via SSH:

Code:
cd /var/www/minera
sudo git fetch --all
sudo git reset --hard origin/master
sudo ./upgrade_minera.sh

If you still have problem with Datatables:

1) clear the cache/cookies browser

2) don't use Internet Explorer

Did you take about the same steps as above?

I have not been able to make this work either...

It sees the wallet
I tries to connect

but I get a "stratum_subscribe timed out error..." then it switches to my backup pool

Are you using http or stratum+tcp in your pool url?  Solo mining is done through http getwork, not stratum.  Should be something like http://127.0.0.1:19451.

I actually only used my IP without the HTTP

Tried it... still doesn't seem to work... ohwell... back to paying pool fees

I have been using Minera for few weeks and I am very pleased with it. I am now running the latest version but two days ago I started having an unusually high number of rejected shares (above 15%).

This is happening is a general way with all my pools: nicehash, clevermining, waffle, profithash, multi ghash, etc...

Anyone else experiencing the same?

Any ideas?

PS: I am running two Gridseed Blades

OK downloaded and burned the latest version of Minera, looks great.  But I can't get it to save the pool.  I delete the default pool, add a new one, save.  If I go to the dashboard and then back the default pool is back.  What am I missing here?  This looks much better than the blade software I have been using!!!

Are you sure you are adding a valid Pool URL? Try to add your pool leaving the default one, if it works, then remove the default one a re-sort yours.
You should look also at the application log (in /var/log/minera/<date>-log.php)
