I just got assigned as a lead project manager at work and I will not have extra time in coming weeks to be online. I would like the community to nominate someone that will takeover. I will be transferring the premine back to the community and continue to support the community as time permits.
Before we just pickout anyone. I recommend to pick out someone with a impeccable track record of coding and a bunch of respect. I am thinking someone along these lines; tranz from HOBO, Rat4 from blackcoin, evand (obviously he wouldnt do it, just saying). Also the dev fund should not be released to this new dev until Market cap is $1 million.
Stop being fanboys of 4-5 devs who've made successful coins. - Talking in general.
You don't need a known developer to fix any issue and hype coins with their reputation, you need a good developer who can make shit work.
I know few devs who're totally anonymous in this community and they're just observing. Laughing hard because of such statements.
What a coin / community needs is:
a) Future plans, ideas. You need to be 3 steps ahead of others, if you want to make it through. There are smarter people than me, you ad everyone else who thinks he's smart.
b) A foundation of trusted members who'll be able to collect funds for bounties. - Leaders
c) A good developer who can work on the project, improving everything, including communication skills. ( A MUST. )
d) A lot of marketing action. See BC, XLB & others ( Here comes the foundation. Want to make money? Spend money. )
e) People who will fight the trolls, no matter what. Trolls, wannabe-trolls ruin coins by spamming. Hammer them with reports.
f) Few good pumps, to get noticed.
