OK so an exchange is needed as soon as possible because I do not feel people will mine for days on a pool without any payout.
Otherwise I find the distribution idea quite original but it requires 2 important trusts:
1. You have not created tons of addresses for you before distribution
2. Exchanges and online wallets must cooperate in the distribution

Thank you for the positive words Smiley

We thought it was quite an original idea as well Grin

We have already been in contact with Poloniex.com as well AGX.io.

We anticipate a response shortly  Cheesy

I think posting from your regular BTT account so people can see your history would help a bit with the trust issues.

Using our private keys on a newly forked wallet exposes us to a lot of risk for very little reward. I prefer being able to claim my Clams by verifying a message digitally signed with my BTC/LTC/DOGE address and not by importing the private key itself. Would the dev team be willing to implement such a change?

You should also contact bittrex, they tend to add new coin very fast and it is a good exchange.

Let them know! Ask for your CLAMS Grin

The worst they can say is "No".

If enough folks demand their CLAMS; exchanges are competitive, they might make a move to appear good to their users!

And it could only help CLAMS if they are aware of it!

We really do understand your concern, seriously.

You should checkout the list titled "I don't trust you".

Basically what it is suggesting is that if your worried; you can send your Bitcoin, Dogecoin, or Litecoin to a different wallet just in case.
Once they are there, they aren't tied to the other wallet at all and are safe no matter what.

The Bitcoins, Litecoins, and Dogecoins don't actually have to be in the wallet when you import it into Clams to get your Clams - as long as they WERE there when we did the data dump Smiley

Hope that helps make you feel less uncomfortable about it all.. if not, we would ask that maybe you check back in a day or two, after the more technical types have reviewed the code and the more brave types have grabbed their CLAMS? Grin Grin

Sad Sad Sad Sad

We really thought we were clever Tongue Sad

More concentrated than super-duper-mining farms?  That is what we are trying to prevent.
Not perfect, but hopefully better.

;( ;( ;(

Hopefully more people will ask and Demand their CLAMS!

Or even move to another exchange if they refuse to help.

Afterall, if CLAMS does even reasonably well, you can bet they will easily do the "complicated" steps and steal the CLAMS ;(

Well, the network seems to be staking blocks wonderfully.
All systems go!

If anyone has any questions, we'll be here a bit longer to help out before catching some ZZZ's and fighting the good fight tomorrow!
