I think we always hear the bad but never the good
I ordered from batch 5 (missed 4) used my 10% coupons but accidentally paid to my batch 1 payment address. emailed Bitmain and they had the issue fixed within 6 hours (whew!)
Great customer service. I could have lost BTC on that order due to my own stupidity but Bitmain fixed it for me.
edit: THANK YOU BITMAIN

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

That totally sucks, my miner should be delivered today but now "Held in Warehouse" and "Additional documentation is required on the merchandise description". Anyone had the same issue?

I still haven't received my 7.7% BTC refund. Has anyone else received theirs yet? Come on Bitmaintech, you expect payment for orders within an hour but when it comes to a small refund we have to wait weeks. BTC is supposed to be instant.

Use win32diskimager and extract the image off one of your working s3 sd card and make a new sd card for the non working unit.

S3 controller boards do not utilize sd cards.

S3 controller boards do not utilize sd cards. I did not know that , what do they use for controllers then?

This I didn´t do. Is there anything specific like switching it for 5 seconds?

This I didn´t do. Is there anything specific like switching it for 5 seconds? the reset switch is tricky. It was strange when I did it but it did work. Read the instructions in the manual on how to do it. I cant remember the exact steps.

Checkout Dogie's guide at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=702653.0, it describes where the reset switch is under 'troubleshooting'. Good luck

Can anyone get a db meter and tell me how loud these things are. I currently have knc nov jups that are whisper quiet. I'm planning on unloading the kncs and replacing with more efficient miners (S3 prolly), but have to keep the noise to a minimum.
No they are not like KNC I have both and can tell. They get louder when they run in hot temperature air..like here that its summer and temps around 28-32c
