The thing is in bolded "%". It would be great that we can just type spread in percent so we don't have to calculate it again, and again, also because spread in number of satoshi can variate.

2.2.0.6 released.  minor fixes

- some areas where poloniex orders not canceling fixed
- arbitrage updating balances incorrectly fixed.

Hi Markus,  a couple of items that I think would help for the arb section:
- can you put a timestamp in the successful arbitration trade window
- can you add an auto-refresh balances option with ability to set your own timing (like on the Bittrex settings page)
- can you add additional columns to show the settings on the monitor list you have for the individual coins (show the % coin to use and minimum arb %)

thanks again.

Yes, thanks.  Good ideas.  It'll be a while before I can update.  I'm working 7 days a week until the 2nd week of November.

Cool thanks for the updates, any ETA on Cryptsy arb? seems like all the pieces are there, current arb system set up as well with API trading on cryptsy, doesnt appear to be too hard (but cryptsy's API is notoriously slow which could def made some serious problems for the bot)

Hmm... Im not sure what to think of this.

Its from the main QTL thread.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=655793.msg9395857#msg9395857

This is a one-time use throw away account.

I have been holding a large sum of QTL for many months now, for personal reasons I have no other option but to liquidate the majority of all my Altcoin holdings, Unfortunately QTL was/is my majority investment at a quantity of 160k between Bittrex and Poloniex.
I have sold about 72k qtl on bittrex over the last 2 days, and about 20k QTL on Poloniex.

Honestly, I feel sick to my stomach for the reasons I have to sale, and for what I am doing to the price of a coin and its community that has treated me well. I wish to apologize to everyone that this has hurt.

I will continue to hold at least 3k QTL. For me the best feature that the trader provides is the simple ability to do Manual trades across multiple platforms from one app, I rarely use the current available Auto-functions.

This may be a bad move to announce the following before the event, I am not sure what effect this will have on the market. But I would like you all to be privileged to this information to aid any decisions you may make over the next 24 hours.
- I still have 50k - 65k QTL to sale off between Bittrex/Poloniex. I would like to give the community a guarantee that I will be delaying this sale-off for at least 12 hours from the time of posting.

Summary.
-I am the jerk that dumped the market Sad
-I have promised to delay the sale of my remaining QTL for 12 hours.

A Million apologize Undecided

Cryptsy arb is, unfortunately, about 2 weeks away.  I simply will not have time to finish the programming until my real world job assignment ends. It is coming to an end in about a week. I will then have all the time in the world to dedicate to coding.. and then.. Look out!

I read yesterday about it, installed today, got 1000 QTL, upgraded to 3000 and started to trade. All in less then 24 hours. Now I am reading this thread, but it is so long, ....

I need some help in understanding the Main Auto Tasks, where I work all day today:

(Please correct me if I am wrong)

Satoshi is the 8 digits after the decimal point. I thought that is only for BTC, but it seems now more to me like a prefix mili, micro, nano.
QTL Stop Value is the value where the trading program should stop trading. It seems it does not check the current value. E.g. I had 3010 as Stop value, had 3017 as balance and used a random Ask of 7 to 10, ... it promptly gone below the 3010. Maybe it should cap it to the value (here 7)

I could not find the definition of Scalp Mode

What is stop when statoshi spread less than 100?

I can only trade one currency at a time, but I can open multiple times the program to
trade more than one coin.

I got also "dustcoins" not allowed. It would be nice if the program could calculate that for me and warn me.

Final question of today: Did I win or lose so far?
The values are changing, and there are open trades. I am sure I would find out in a couple of days, if both values (QTL and BTC) gone up, while still tradings are, ....
Wouldn't it be possible to add the open tradings to the QTL / BTC balance plus the result, or just a green / red dot to signal if we are doing well?

I am very impressed after just working with the program for a couple of hours! Thank you MarKus.

I don't know if there's a feature on the Quatloo trader that allows you to place an order for like (1000 coins @ say 1000sat to buy and then place an order to sell 1000 coins @ 1200sat and once orders been filled, it places to buy order back on @ 1000 coins @ 1000sat to buy and so on. And have it do this without resetting orders everytime the time runs out, just leaves the orders in till they buy or sell. Once its been filled then replace order automatically ). If Quatloo trader does this already please show me an example, If not I think it would be a great feature to add.

Thank you

I am trying to run this program on my mac. I know next to nothing about programming and terminal use.  I am trying to follow the instructions below, however, when i enter "sudo apt-get install git build-essential libgettextpo-dev" i get the response "sudo: apt-get: command not found" I currently have mono installed. Please help.

Running the Quatloo Trader in mono (for mac and linux crowd)

This was installed and tested on LinuxMint Maya(13) {Ubuntu Precise(12.04)} and with mono 3.8.0 pulled from git

Install the prerequisites

Code:
sudo apt-get install git build-essential libgettextpo-dev

In your home directory create "src" directory
Code:
mkdir src

move into the "src" directory you just created, and pull the mono project from GitHub (this will take a bit)
Code:
git clone https://github.com/mono/mono -b mono-3.8.0-branch

After you finish cloning the code, move into the mono directory.
In the mono directory, run the autogen script, this will configure the Makefile for your machine. If you would like to install mono using a different prefix, then change the path (must be an absolute path)
Code:
./autogen.sh --prefix=/usr/local

If you have not used mono before, you need to get the mono compiler, since you need mono to make mono (from the readme file)
Code:
make get-monolite-latest

After that finishes, it's time to compile everything and install it (again, this will take some time, so be patient.)
Code:
make EXTERNAL_MCS=${PWD}/mcs/class/lib/monolite/gmcs.exe
sudo make install

Next you need to update the certificate store so you can connect to Bittrex.
Code:
mozroots --import --sync

After you finish the install (if you don't get any errors) you can now run the Quatloo Trader.
So, download and unzip the Quatloo Trader, and save it where you would like it.  Then from the command line run the following
Code:
mono DarkTrader.exe

Enjoy!

These are linux instructions. You can pretty much forget running on any Mac later than 10.7.

Instead run virtual box and install a copy of some windows, I use 7, in your VM and run Quatloo Trader in that.

Alternatively your cheaper option is to run linux in a vm and use the instructions below.
