actually that invalid string < thing is when bittex api is down and spits html page instead of json....

its not the computer nor the app its the coding...

your return from your getbalance function should be verified to be valid json linq and then work on that, don't assume its valid since they show an html page when they are down..

i know as i got same result with my own coding app and i tought you might want to F5 your app for an invalid result first Wink

Ok, The timeline:

Tuesday evening, Nov 25th : auto arbitrage for cryptsy, will require 15k.
right after thanksgiving or sooner: graphs for the coins' history of trading and trends.
I will post other dates soon for the addition of c-cex and also the release of the new Quatloo-Trader, series 3.x.x.x

15k, that's certainly disappointing.

I have always said the arbitrage that included Cryptsy would require 15k.

I spotted in your exe a few months ago that we have a different way of using , and . in Europe.
Could you create a function in your exe that checks in the registry what my settings are or add it as a settings + save to the ini file.

Because the problem is still there, also in the arbitrage (about 10.0%) , in the logs, the withdrawal ... at several places in fact.
The tab "my history" also gives an other view depending on the trader you are at.

Do put some teaser-screenshots on twitter of the new 3.0 to come, so we can make promo for your product ;-)

I plan on having Quatloo Trader 2.3.0.1 ready for release by 11pm-12am tonight EST.  Improved auto arbitrage and the addition of cryptsy arbitrage.
I've been working on a few different things at the same time , so there will be fairly regular updates coming out now.

It'll be fixed in the next release. the problem was due to cryptsy having CAIx  and Bittrex having CIAX.  the lower case x

Quatloo-Trader 2.3.0.3 Released!
http://quatloos.org/downloads/Quatloo-Trader2.2.zip

-Fixed CIAX missing from cryptsy arb.
-Fixed last minor glitch in arbitrage where amounts bought and sold were not equal on rare occasions*
-Added 'cancel every cycle' checkbox option in the bittrex auto advanced pingpong so placed orders stay until out bid or out asked.
Leave unchecked to have orders stay and not canceled and resubmitted every cycle.  pressing 'Stop' cancels placed orders.  orders are still canceled if satoshi spread minimum is not met.. then will be resubmitted after condition changes.

-Other small additions.. like, for example, only numbers can be typed in text boxes in the arbitrage sections (percentages, interval).
*This fix means you really should update asap for optimal arbitrage!

That is very confusing. the new cancel every cycle box does what?
If I leave it unchecked, it will cancel all orders it makes during ping pong except the best bid and offer, so I only have one of each at a time?
If I check it, then what happens? It cancels and replaces them each cycle? That seems like the same thing?

Markus, by the way are you planning to add Bitfinex, Kraken or another major bitcoin exchanges in near future or will you consider it?
