Here's my current setup. 6x Sapphire 7970s on Win8x64. Slightly OC'd while also undervolted from 1.175 to 1.090 Don't mind the ghettoness, this is my first rig. I'm getting aluminum pieces this week and going to make them really nice, also getting ready for 2nd rig. This is Damn Fun Nothing ghetto about those temps. What does your cgminer.conf look like ? The thing has 5 fans pointed at it. It should run super cool. Yup.. and it does. BlazinBeaches has updated the screenie and now shows 3.5 hrs of uptime. Luuv the low fans speeds. Very nicely set up. Thanks man @Reckman, what are the temps like in that case?

Thanks man @Reckman, what are the temps like in that case? not bad as long as the outside air is reasonable in temp, like 75 deg C, hot days all of the cards are 80+ and end up throttling I think the air flow could be a ton better with a real industrial fan/blower, instead of the computer ones i have

thanks, i think its a great option if you dont want to pay the extra 35% removing the extra heat from your house. Plus it cuts the noise in half

thanks, i think its a great option if you dont want to pay the extra 100% removing the extra heat from your house. Plus it cuts the noise in half 600 W is 2000 BTU/hr so a 1 ton / 1 kW unit can remove 12000 BTU/hr of heat and it has an EER of 12 that means you're using 2/12=1/6th of the unit's 1 hour duty at 167 W so I'd rule of thumb this around 1/3 of the wattage in additional cooling expense instead of 100%

Received 2x USB Block Erupter sticks from the Europe group buy today... I decided to test one on my old Asus Eee 700 PC (laptop) which has a 2GB SSD HD - 800 Mhz CPU - 512 MB RAM - running Windows XP. This is a special laptop - as in 2009 I used this very machine to generate 'a few extra Bitcoins' - Yes really! With it's 800 Mhz processor this laptop probably generated somewhere around 1000-ish Bitcoin's, which are now in full circulation ofc. It ran 24/7 for several months (2 of these laptops actually on/off), until 100's of new nodes arrived on the Bitcoin network and the difficulty level got to great. Any prizes for Rig-of-the-Week? Nah - thought not! you are a pioneer.

There ya guys go, I updated the pic to a fresh one that's been running for over an hour. Fan speed is set at a constant 69% for now until I get things moved away from the window and more organized. The box fan is an exhaust and the window next to it is open so fresh cool air is getting sucked into the room and going through all the cards. It's still cool outside where I am at, but come summer I'll probably have to get a portable AC for that room.
Here is current config file;
] , "intensity" : "13", "vectors" : "0", "worksize" : "256", "kernel" : "poclbm", "lookup-gap" : "2", "thread-concurrency" : "8192", "gpu-engine" : "1050,1050,1050,1050,1050,1050", "gpu-fan" : "69", "gpu-memclock" : "1500,1500,1500,1500,1500,1500", "gpu-powertune" : "3", "gpu-vddc" : "1.090,1.070,1.070,1.070,1.070,1.070", "temp-cutoff" : "95", "temp-overheat" : "88", "temp-target" : "77", "api-port" : "4028", "expiry" : "120", "gpu-dyninterval" : "7", "gpu-platform" : "0", "gpu-threads" : "2", "hotplug" : "5", "log" : "5", "no-pool-disable" : true, "queue" : "1", "scan-time" : "60", "temp-hysteresis" : "3", "shares" : "0", "kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin" }
I thought poclbm was for SHA-256 not Scrypt?

HI there, here is my little honest Mining Farm haha. Look at my farm, my farm is amazing, give it a try uhmmmmm, look at my farm, my farm is amazing, give it a try,uhmmmmm it's sounds like i'm crazy....hahahaha jokes apart here are the photos and one prints of my little honest farm ;d my imageshack.us algum http://imageshack.us/g/1/10198579/As u can see on the last photo, with gpuz and all stuff,if look at WU: its says ~900, its cause i only run the programa to show u guys this ;d i was playing BF3 MP before U can also see that my GPU MEM is underclocked, what? ya, what matters is the ratio of mem/clock, doesn't has to be overclocking memory, only highest coreClock will improve kh/s, mem can be underclocked as well as sha256 BUT, need same sweet spot as for overclocking memories. i can't pass ~550kh/s cause XFX is not good, and i kinda have some....well oc scarry tha crap out of me, in less then 2 months i fried my HD6850 cause of oc...so i don't wanna push it more, not for now at least, but hey, with underclock is better for me and the card so i like it.... keep in mind that what matter is ratio, and high CORE clock, mem clocks kinda just have to be there(u get what i mean).

Take the crossfire bridge off unless you use it for gaming. It hurts your hashrate.
