just as ref!
I do have 1024 PetaByte assets, but I have not sold it. Clear? We buy with the asset the hard disks. At the moment the BURST price is too low to attract asset holders to get new hard disks. Clear? Then how do you payout to people that don't hold your asset, and then publicly demand they repay you ? I shorten it to me. Clear? tiga? Who's script by the way, is working great for many other running legitimate assets. Because Tiga's script does not fit my need. We pay out for MINING result not waiting for the payday. OMG, ninja went from 400 registered to only 399. IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD. ;-) Well, ninja was already on 402, ... ;-) I don't know why you think Crow is my boss, I work for no-one when it comes to crypto. I'm paying out of my own pocket for resources to support the dev/core team, what have you done for Burst other than being the Posterchild for crypto scam artists? People can't see your pool stats without registering, but registration is "not currently available" for, 3 months now - or is it longer? And yet, despite not being able to register and see any stats, 280 miners pointed their miners at your pool, yah, right. Yap, no registering publicly, so that I can make sure, you are not included. My pool is not listed anywhere, so I felt I have to make the statistic to COMPLETE the list: Pool Statistics Current time: 2015-09-03 04:01:29 UTC Block: 138,608 Difficulty: 6,905 Est. Networksize (PB): 7.2406001126671 BURST.MiningHere.com Pool balance: 60,430 Registered Miners: 280 burst.ninja Pool balance: 17,355 Registered Miners: 398 burst.poolto.be Pool balance: 42 Registered Miners: 255 cryptomining.farm Pool balance: 93,810 Registered Miners: 1,862 DevPool v2 Pool balance: 586,352 Registered Miners: 551 mining.tompool.org Pool balance: 27 Registered Miners: 56 pool.blago Pool balance: 600 Registered Miners: 114 pool.burstcoin.de Pool balance: 26,705 Registered Miners: 120 pool.burstcoin.it Pool balance: 2 Registered Miners: 52 OMG, Ninja felt back on 398. What happened? Ask quickly your boss, please! I have no opinion on that. The pools I mine with pay me out, make the payout amount transparent to anyone. Unlike your pool. Which discloses nothing. Your pool uses the pool code even the author of that code has disowned. That has known issues with failing to pay miners. And you hide all the info about your pool. Yet you maintain hundreds of miners, but your mining capacity seems to be tiny (12TB) based on the number of blocks you win - oh yeah, that's right, bot haven .... The payout is always transparent, don't you know it uses BLOCKCHAIN technology??? Well, IF you would understand my question, and IF you would dig into it deeper, than you would understand my question. I assume you have a bot net running, other people hardly speak about that. Why not find another one to complain to? Why you always pick on me? IF you say that the code of Uray is wrong, and you see that most of the above listed pools use that code, then you would complain to others. HINT: look at the balance and the amount of miners. IF and WHEN you understand that, you will be a lot smarter!

Its a bit shame, and so strange to me that dev abandoned one of the gratest projects on crypto...
Dev has not abandoned - he's off dealing with some personal issues and is expected back in the near future. For now the core team will be covering, If he is unable to return there is a plan in place for migrating to a new dev. H. Core team? What is that? Secret club of janitors I think the real explosion will happen soon, when BinLaden will take over the left over of BURST and make it to a real COIN. I guess he is just "minutes", if not "seconds" to have 51%.

Help me mine at the DevPoolv2. I've been mining at various other Burst pools without a problem. When I try to connect to the DevPoolv2 I get this message in pocminer: Warning: no passphrases.txt found Mining without passphrases is currently not supported Here is my run_mine.sh: A couple of things I'm not clear on: 1. Do I need to genrate new plots to mine at DevPoolv2? 2. My plots are on three hard drives. Do I just provide a link (short-cut) to them in the pocminr plot folder?

NOTHING should be build up on one person or one group only. Anything can happen to each of us. Such a project should not fail because of a missing person.

1.45 PetaByte asset is still cheap available. Get it before the price lined up takes effect.
PetaByte is a mining asset. 1 PetaByte asset is equal to a mining power of 1 TB hard disk. The mined rewards are distributed to all asset holders at the first days of the month for the previous month.
UNIQUE to all other assets is, that it is not important how long you owned the asset, but when you owned you get paid according to your asset shares. We all know that you cannot buy 0.03 TB hard disks, but you can buy 0.03 PetaByte assets, that is equal to a hard disk of 0.03 TB.
Why let your BURSTs sit around and do nothing? Buy PetaByte assets instead and put a sell order to it. As long you own it you earn and it is gone as soon somebody buy it.
PetaByte asset you can buy by: 1. open your wallet 2. click on Asset Exchange 3. Add Asset ID 14668748687827404894 4. On the left side you see the offers of PetaBytes, click on Buy PetaByte with BURST 5. Fill in Quantity and use the suggested Price BURST/PetaByte 6. The form will display how much you need to pay for, including fee. If you have enough BURSTs in your wallet, click on Buy (BURST -> PetaByte)
Within a few confirmations, you are the new owner of PetaByte assets.
Enjoy earning, while we do the mining work for you.

We have this one pesky troll that just won't seem to go away.
Elmit, I am no one's 'boss'. Especially not Haitch's. He's someone who is extremely intelligent and helps me out because he's awesome. Hardly my employee. He's a friend of mine, a partner on my projects, and a great help with everything!
Never fear, everyone. Discussion within the core of BURST's future has commenced.
It is no secret that we haven't heard from the main dev since he mentioned personal issues (to the core only, unfortunately.) We will wait a little longer before making decisions, but I have written a 6 page paper with suggestions on changes and re-structuring of the coin. I will not release this information until we have come to a decision on what we think is best. Once the core can decide if it is something we'd like to present to the community, we will do so. Not before.
I'm sure we will come to a reasonable solution here. None of us want anything but a great future for our beloved BURSTcoin.
I believe we need some structure, coordination, and solid roadmap. Among other things. Which is part of the 6 page paper the team is reading and giving suggestions on. So please, don't think that nothing is happening. Things are, maybe not as fast as this hyperactive ADD community we call the crypto community would like, but that's what it is.
Take a deep breath, good. Now let it out. hehe.
On another note, we're looking for great graphics designer for the team, and also, if anyone has any sort of development experience, or some other skill that you believe would benefit the core team, message me or any of the team and let us know! Thanks!

Help me mine at the DevPoolv2. I've been mining at various other Burst pools without a problem. When I try to connect to the DevPoolv2 I get this message in pocminer: Warning: no passphrases.txt found Mining without passphrases is currently not supported Here is my run_mine.sh: The passphrases.txt contains your BURST passphrase and is no needed for poolmining, so setup is not correct. Check usage at: http://178.62.39.204:8121/ you need to use pocminer_pool.jar! Btw. there are also other miners out there, that support DevPoolV2 like: https://github.com/Blagodarenko/miner-burst/releaseshttps://github.com/de-luxe/burstcoin-jminer/releasesA couple of things I'm not clear on:
1. Do I need to genrate new plots to mine at DevPoolv2?
2. My plots are on three hard drives. Do I just provide a link (short-cut) to them in the pocminr plot folder?
1. No, if you have plot-files for your account, you can use them for devV2Pool, too. 2. Multiple drives are not supported by pocminer, you need to run 3 instances or find a 'hack' to link them into one drive. The other miners above support multiple drives, they are optimized for that, by using one thread for each drive. For example look at jminer config: https://github.com/de-luxe/burstcoin-jminer/blob/master/jminer.default.properties

Just a suggestion, maybe make a separate ANN for the Burst Core Team. I feel that would have more positive energy, more frequent updates and what ever else until the main dev is back or decide to call it quits. People kind of lose confidence in a coin if the updates aren't frequent enough. Hope there's a back up plan just in case the main dev exit this coin. Just my suggestion and opinions.

I'm cringing at Asset #2 - ByteBank I've seen too much over the years to smell a ponzi-like setup. You can never guarantee positive returns with no exposure to losses. This asset may have all good intentions but the setup is questionable. it will inevitably become a monster feeding itself: ponzi. I cringe at this asset.
next asset is closer to reality.
someone please explain to me how I'm wrong about this at first glance?
How is it now?

How is it now? Just like I said, I'd keep it going as long as possible, and if it looked like it wouldn't be sustainable, I'd announce it may end, then place a buy wall for people to exit, which may happen soon. What about this is an issue again? We never guaranteed it would be able to continue forever.

Update: Still 0.55 PetaByte assets OMG Elmit, your asset just made me snort out my nose ..... LOL Based on the output of: http://localhost:8125/burst?requestType=getAssetAccounts&asset=14668748687827404894I get that you have have sold 1.78%, which by your own words, represents 18.2TB. You have another 10TB available for sale, so obviously you have about 28TB of storage mining and backing this "asset". Yet by my calcs, it's more like 12TB. Can you explain this difference and show this 28TB you have mining? Then I looked at the account of your 29 investors. Let's take your largest investor as an example. That poor person holds 3.074 of your asset, representing according to your works 3.074TB. Now according to the Burstcoin.eu mining calculator 3.074TB should be earning 21,100 Burst/month. So how is your lucky investor doing? Sept: 6,600 Aug: 4,400 July: 7,300 So in the best month that investor ever had with your "asset", they earned 1/3 of what they should have. WooHoo - Elmit's only stealing 66% of my investment. (That assumes that back in July they didn't have more of your asset and have managed to offload some of it to some other poor sucker). So at a cost of 400,000 Burst/TB, when will the asset pay for itself? (To be generous I'll use their best month ever, assuming they held the same number of your "asset" then.) Lets see: 3.074 * 400,000 / 7300 = 168.4 months. So around 14 years. Seriously? 14 Years before an asset pays for itself? If your asset was paying at least the expected payout, rather than 1/3 of it - then ok, more reasonable, but 14 years of earning 1/3 of what you should. Buyer beware, this "asset" just brings tears ..... But if you can pick it up under 100K, its reasonable, unless Elmit decides to steal more. H.

Update: Still 0.55 PetaByte assets ... (Nonsense deleted) Let's look at other assets? How many assets has your boss created? How many of them are still alive? Sorry, he is not your boss, I always forget you are his "friend", ... How many other thing did he start? How many things are still here? How many pools he needed to setup to get one working? How many more nonsense do I need to hear from you, like Singapore water department, ... How about you use your intelligence (- I am not convinced of it, but your boss is) to do something that increases the price of BURST? No idea, right? But you find always words to critic on my. If you would just half of the time you would tweet ... or do something productive would have an impact on the BURST price. But no, you keep on talking nonsense! Look at the latest statistics: Pool Statistics Current time: 2015-09-04 03:15:39 UTC Block: 138,956 Difficulty: 7,982 Est. My friend always says video advertisement works best. Did you forget the questions? Look at the balances and the registered miners. I know that registered miners are MUCH higher than active miners. Anything you can spot here?
