Income dividends will be paid tomorrow, we have some explosive earnings in the past days: I filtered out the data again and seems like we have a more accurate number to calculate daily returns which is: +0.2143233403% ROI /day. Yes it works with percentage too, however it's not stackable as the log return is more correct if we want to calculate future gains. Nontheless we make now 0.21% returns daily. This number is smaller than the one measured before because I readjusted the accuracy, but given the current earnings it can become higher as it seems more people gamble now. The moving average is only looking to the past 2 months so if the casino gets more active we will have more income. Now the trading front has been sloppy, I have sold the altcoins too early and failed to make money there, so i`m still trying at that front. However we are having great success in the passive income portfolio.

Is there any online or paper wallets available for Burstcoin? I don't wanna download the full blockchain on my HDD only for the sake of mining. It's a nice concept BTW so let's see how well it goes in future.

-[ANNOUNCEMENT]- Buyback Asset AssetID: 15960505094502212264 Amount in total: 2.000.000 Initial price: 10
I want to introduce here my brand new Buyback Asset.
The Buyback Asset is based on the idea, that investors profit in four ways.
First way is, that based on a monthly payout that comes from sales of new share will be payout to the investors
Seconds way is, that the amount of shares will also be reduced, so that every month the amount of shares that gets payout from the first way will be lesser and lesser and because of that, the amount that will be payout for one share will become more and more, every month.
The second way will also help to increase the value of the shares for traders, so also the price for one share will increase.
Third way is that i buyback for the lowest price a holder wants to sell. so holders of the shares can determinate this price. Because of that that will be higher of the initial price, that the profit they have.
Fourth way is that initial price is 10. so that also little increases are good profits in percentage!
Phase 1: Beginning with this post, 50% of the shares will bei available for purchase. This ends at first of february 2016, also if not all shares are sold.
Phase 2: If all shares from Phase 1 are sold, then Phase 2 starts. The next 50% will be sold equaly over at least the next 25 months (depends on who much from phase one was sold). For this a sell order is placed every first of the month. The income from this sell will be used to payout the investors a monthly interest and buyback.
40% of the montly income will be used for the interest to pay out investors. This will be done after all montly shares are sold. (at least a few days after that)
40% for will be used for the buyback. I will buyback as much shares i can this this coins. Price is the price for that i can buyback. So its the lowest price someone wants to sell (open sell orders).
20% is for the asset management.
The income from Phase 1 is for backup and will be used, if in one month no new shares could be sold, so that the investors still get the interest.
FAQ In case of no sell orders at the time of the monthly buyback, any amount not spent will enter into the amount offered for buyback in the following month and so on.
A little Calc:Phase 1 Sellprice per Share 10,00 Initially Sold 1.000.000,00 Backupprice 10.000.000,00 Phase 2 Monthly max shares for sale 20.000,00 Monthly income from sale 200.000,00 1. Month Monthly garantied interest for investors (40%) 80.000,00 Monthly interest per share (40%) in Burst 0,08 Monthly interest in per share in % 0,80 Interests are garantied buy raised money from phase 1. Buyback shares from users for x Burst 80.000,00 So if you look at this, you got 0.8% per month garantied and the chance to increase if the amount of buyback is higher than the amount of sold new shares. also you can profit from trading the assset. not so bad.....

Any guides or info on what the hell a deadline actually is?
Been mining over at burst ninja and been getting paid out wonderfully. 1.6TB is all I'm using for now.
Anyways,
Info on what nounces are, and what a deadline is. Compared to mining other coins. You always hear about shares and such. How is the terminology and how are shares considered with burst?

A deadline is the time it would take you to find the next block. If you mine at a pool, you will get a part of the profit from the pool if the pool finds a block, this profit depends on your deadline. If you submit a better deadline you will get a higher % of the rewards from the block. Some pools favor small deadline and pools that favor all deadlines. The reason behind pools favoring different deadlines is that every deadline after the best will be thrown away. Nothing is going on in the background like bitcoin mining, there is nothing likes shares for Burst only deadlines. So technically, after you have posted your deadline, you can shutdown your computer and wait for the next block. If you do this you still have to turn it on to post your next deadline. This ensures that HHDs get less used and can run for longer. If you think about this as a race, you have a deadline for the time it take you to get to finish. Every nonce is a engine, the more engines you have the faster you can go. Like bitcoin mining the more hashrate you have the faster you can find the next block. You also need to know that in every race there is some luck. Both in the bitcoin race, burst race or car races. That how someone can sometimes find a block with 500 gb and someone with 100 tb dosen't find it every time. If you need more help just ask. That bumps the forum post XDEdit: Formatting

Each 256KB of your plot file is made of 4096 "scoops" of 64 bytes each. When you see the pool mining stats it'll show which scoop is currently being minied. So when mining, Scoop X of each 256KB is considered. The value in each scoop is a nonce, and each nonce represents the time it would take for this nonce to win the round, which is based on the scoop number and target difficulty - the deadline. Some of the deadlines the nonces produce are very large > 10,000 years, or very small < minutes (even a zero second deadline is possible). As each better nonce is found in your plot, it is sent to the pool. If your nonce deadline ends up winning, then the pool wins, and you get paid a proportion of the pool winnings, based on the best deadline you've submitted for each of the last 50 rounds or so. HTH. H.

Thank you guys for the reply. Greatly appreciated. I think I read most of this somewhere. But wasn't really sure on most of it.
It all makes sense now that you guys explained it a little.
Thank you.
I now understand a little better and how HDD mining works. Like it better then normal mining. Seems easier and well less expensive and no massively expensive GPUs to buy.
Thanks again guys.
Greatly appreciated.

Note that if you use Luxe's jMiner, then a GPU can significantly reduce the mining time over the other miners - you don't need a monster card, a 280x or GTX 750Ti/960 will really accelerate it. Won't make much of a difference with 1.2TB, but if you catch the bug and grow your plots ..... ;-) Thanks again guys.
Greatly appreciated.
No problem. H.

Soon INCOME asset dividend will be paid.
Total dividend amount is 0.023BTC, of which 0.016 will be paid out to shareholders and 0.0068 will stay at me. It is less than my share %, so the change will be given bonus to you guys. Now I keep my dividends in BTC this time, so that means that I`ll exclude myself from the BURST shareholder list this round.
This means that about 90,000 BURST are given out.
Now this might seem very small, but from now on we can pay dividends more frequently. Remember the cashflow is much bigger now than ever before. And I hope I can put the trade profits soon into the casino investments.

Perhaps haitch could integrate the dividend script in it, the one that you developed. Then it would be way easier to use BURST.
