Hey,
I can find information on what port burst.ninja uses for mining. Anyone knows?
You can use 80 or 8124 for mining, and 8125 for the wallet. H. Thank you, am I blind or is that information lacking from the pool page? It's missing from the page, there was a tutorial around that had the ports, but yeah, should be on the pool page. H. Crow, Burst.ninja has been running for a fair amount of time. Do you have any plans to add a basic info page showing Mining Pool address, port, reward structure, and pool fees? I just did a basic google search trying to find this information and it is not coming up. I can see how new miners would find this information very difficult to locate. Good-Luck

I'm glad to see the community still showing support for this coin but also sad that the original Dev sort of abandoned the project, hard drive mining is most efficient hands down and I don't understand how people in crypto overlook its potential

Hi guys, just popping my head in with a quick question. I apologise if this has been covered but I can't find any info on it, and I'm not a programmer, so I don't have the knowledge. I am trying to hide the output of Blago's miner, so that the executable runs windowless. I have tried using the "start" command through a batch file, as well as redirecting stderr and stdout to nul, and neither of these are working for me, and as I understand it, the way I am trying to implement it would not work. My current batch file to start the miner is start miner.exe 2&>1 > nul PAUSE As I understand it, this redirects the output of the Command Window to nul after starting Blago's Miner, not Blago's miner. Using "start" assures the cmd window disappears after running blago's miner, and I understand how redirecting stderr and stdout work, but I do not know how to redirect the output of Blago's miner to nul. Is this even possible with a batch script, or am I barking up the wrong tree? Thanks in advance everyone, and I love all the thought and discussion that's been going on in BURST lately, even through the fud and trolling/scamming/threatening. I apologise for not having anything meaningful to contribute to the community other then mining, investing and trading, but keep up the good work everyone, and hopefully we can all decide on a good dev strategy for BURST. You're not going to be able to do it from a batch fileany console app is going to require a console window to run in, even if all output is redirected. What might work is some of the apps to run any app as a service. eg http://www.howtogeek.com/50786/using-srvstart-to-run-any-application-as-a-windows-service/H. May be good for BURST. But that won't work if GPU is involved. Starting from Vista services are executed in the separate terminal session #0 and don't have access to GPUs. There's simplier method. Run taskschd.msc, create scheduled task, set "SYSTEM" for the account. To run task use console program "schtasks" Another option is to "start /min" - it will run window minimized. And if you have some very basic C knowledge, its possible to write very simple program in C. It will call API function CreateProcess with CREATE_NO_WINDOW flag. Someone posted example in comments : https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/ms682425%28v=vs.85%29.aspxIn the last case process will have the same access as logged on user does. Can use GPU.

Why is this coin dying I liked it If you think it is very, very valuable and need to be protected, then you will hide it. However, only usage makes public value, otherwise it is like a painting, valuable for the owner. With other words: BURST is a great coin, easy and "cheap" to mine. However, there are not many places where you can use BURSTs.

Are you planning on being transparent with the trades you are going to make? Maybe in a private group that asset holders only can see? I would be interested in seeing this. Thanks! Sure, what specific information do you need? I will post the trade history in the BURST forum if that is needed. I have many quick trades (so far all of them profitable), but I wont show the currently open orders, nor the trades I took 1-2 days ago, to not reveal my trading strategy I have worked on for 3 years I hope that's understandable, other than that, the rest of the trade history can be revealed, to be transparent.

I see that BURST is getting delisted at CCEX, however I trade at Yobit now, while BURST is not listed on Yobit. Could we perhaps list BURST on yobit until the interest of people gets back. It is the only exchange now that accepts smaller coins, and it will help BURST survive until we are ready to break through. (It would be easier for me too to save on transaction fees) What do you think guys? It is possible to add BURST to yobit, from this link, and it's free of charge: https://yobit.net/en/addcoin/
