What do you guys think? Is this wishful thinking?
Volume is up a bit today after being really slow. Someone accumulating coins?

There is ALWAYS a rather large group here at any moment that is accumulating Monero.  And right now, these prices look like a bargain so, we'll set our bids somewhere below the current price and wait for others to dump into them.  It seems to work most of the time.

Edit: I know I've picked up a few hundred more over the last day or so.

Soon oh soon the time

That's "Soon oh soon the light" ... "Our reason to be here"

YES

Edit:  Sorry Nioc, you were right on the second verse it's time...  Smiley

Slightly OT here.

Has anyone used the trading platform on WhaleClub.co before?
Any experiences to share. Yay or Nay?

Thanks.

Note that this thread was created whilst XMR withdrawals were disabled at Poloniex. Thus, most likely it was a withdrawal from another exchange. Although, it could be that he withdrew before Poloniex froze XMR deposits/withdrawals. Lastly, it's rather difficult to verify such claims.

Monero (and Cloak ! ) at minute 38 of https://youtu.be/ohqKmAz_aeM?t=38m15s

Well those two are a couple of complete retards...

LOL yeah certainly some of his coin choices seem pretty off (Cloak, Bytecoin? L-O-frikkin'-L) and one may certainly argue with the validity (or lack thereof) of the claimed 'data analysis' method... no question that this guy's style of 'woo woo' stuff is really far-out there.

BUT... nevertheless, did you listen to the whole interview?

Seems to me, that despite possible questionable underlying source/data he's pretty much got the basic idea right.

TL;DW crypto-currencies (all of 'em, in general) are going thru the roof now, not because of some speculative ponzi-like mad-rush-bubble attempt by people to cash-in on more dollars... but, rather because the global system of fiat debt-backed currency (that we know must eventually end in a giant crack-up... it's just the math behind it that makes it inevitable and ultimately unavoidable) is *finally* starting to hit that "eventual" failure.

And maybe it's *finally* starting to dawn on the average-Joe (not to mention maybe the 1% crowd) that this is really happening...

If the developer of the coin(Ricardo "FluffyPony") to make a formal request to the Poloniex exchange to accept Monero officially, I think they might agree.

I watched from the linked time until the end. Yes, the word is getting out there but this is not a market for n00bs right now, there is too much profit taking going on. I personally am trying to accumulate some but with no funds I am just using my sig campaign payouts so it's slow going. My real life stuff cost me quite a bit as it always coincided with having to sell before the spikes. Lol, story of my life. Cheesy

Withdrawals have been disabled since what??? Like a week now?

Anyone have any good info on this? (Trollbox told me polo got hacked and all the Monero is gone, but I'm assuming that is just FUD)

Well, if polo's monero wallet got goxxed they would freeze the market, not just disable the wallet, so no worries  Wink
Anyway, even if it did happened they can surely cover for the loss, I can't imagine how much they made with all these shitcoin pumps, member when bitstamp got hacked for over 10k btc - just a scratch, they covered it all in no time .

I'm hoping to see a nice little price spike when deposits/withdrawals are re-enabled.

If i remember correctly Polo is the first site that listed Monero and there was even a speculation earlier that they had close ties with the exchange, what i am waiting for is the potential break up from this price and having another rally,is there any new development and news coming up from the developers, just waiting to hear about something new from the team.

It was the second, the first was run by a community member and that one was closed when Polo adopted XMR and the rest is history. Smiley

That could only happen after Monero exit the maintenance mode in Polo.

Currently BTC is over $2650 so, does anybody have a decent picture as to what the next 2 weeks look like for BTC and Monero?  I'm just surprised that Bitcoin keeps climbing even with all of its many issues, while Monero has dropped in volume to practically nothing, in current terms but, has held it's USD value pretty well.
