What is the next step exactly? Are we mainly waiting on Airdrop and hoping that that will hugely increase the user base? Then once that happens, are we hoping advertisers will start buying gems so they can advertise to users?

I am a huge supporter and I hold a lot of Gems, so keep in mind these are all friendly questions (I'm just ignorant about what is happening behind the scenes and what to expect in the short to mid-term future)

Why would i want to SPend my Huge Blue CRystal profits on Getting Gemz?

My point of view: GG has managed to reach the average person outside the crypto circle and is actually simple enough for them to use, other cryptos besides bitcoin struggle with this and pretty much only exist in this forum and their own subreddit, GG actually exists outside this space which helps tremendously to expand the userbase. It also offers incentive for users to use it by offering reward value models.

It's in open beta still and already 15k active users which is even more than some 'top' coins, Coinbase partnership with Julia which got the attention of Telegrams ceo, innovative features with an actual usecase that didn't exist before in the financial industry like in app tipping and group payments, multiple times on r/bitcoin frontpage, lots of beta testers, talented dev involvement within the community and especially outside the crypto space, choosen as most visionary social media solution by Citibank, they gave recently a presentation sponsored by Citi in front of big players, great dev activity. In the previous page there are some links you can check out. It's still maturing though, but things are evolving nicely.

- Nice portfolio site, I've voted for GEMS to be added. Not quite sure why they would not just add established assets and currencies without the voting. Not adding them prevents some users from joining the cryptofolio, or am I missing something?

just a heads up. 2 coins got added about 1 day ago. GEMZ didn't even though it was in 3rd place. might be because votes might still be too low. BUT i noticed that the 2 coins that got added, the number of votes (for each coin) was more than 200, less than or around 250. GEMZ now has about 106.

he may be a poor communicator but I see his point. there is a tendency to be one eyed about something you are investing in, I see this in myself... and in you reRaise Also I believe he would perhaps be less frustrated if from the beginning the developers were more open (eg. on playstore) regarding getgems's Beta status, that is is under heavy development and showed a list of current bugs.... I am also aware that a leader cannot please everyone all of the time and I think Daniel has great vision and seems to collaborate and communicate with others really well. Glad to see that video surface as it's what sold me on the idea in the beginning.

I have followed the team pretty much from the beginning and have seen them very open with the community, posting developments updates, community Q&A, considering worthy ideas from the community, answering questions individualy, activity on social media platforms and especially in the app where they are the most active. I think he didn't like that GG decided to engage with Telegram and getting involved with mainstream users which has actually led them to build some nice features that really made buzz in the bitcoin scene like Julia. People like him don't know that GG usersbase are not just Crypto users who are fighting against banks, GG target market isn't this group, they also have focus groups outside the crypto space and this is actually a great milestone (reaching average users), so just with a stand alone wallet you won't attract them. As is true for most software, the developers are at liberty to make changes at any given time if needed, same as btc changing and forking codes.
