I have a question about Satoshidice's promotion.

There is 1800 BTC house profit for Satoshidice, so does Satoshidice spend money on advertising and marketing, does it allocate some of it's profits in a marketing fund for promotion?

It seems to me that every site I went to, I have seen many ads about casinos. I`ve seen almost all major bitcoin casinos advertised, but I haven't seen so far a single Satoshidice ad.

Satoshidice doesnt even have a signature campaign.

It's really a pity because other casinos will take over in terms of both volume and nr. or users. It would be nice to see if Satoshidice would promote itself, since there are many advertising options available for bitcoin.

I don't think new bitcoin users (from 2014 to today) know about Satoshidice, because the other casinos just way overpromote themselves.

I think it would be nice to see Satoshidice have more promotions and marketing, it needs more gamblers because sometimes it feels lonely to gamble there as rarely more than 3 people gamble there at once.

Perhaps some sort of integrated chatbox would be a good idea to to make the site more social Smiley

Depends on what do you mean by promotions as well. Just because you never see their banner doesnt mean that they dont actually have banner any where else. In fact they do have promotions of 0.4 / day divided for each of 4 their leaderboard of the day if you check closely

I`m not saying they dont have any marketing at all, I`m saying their marketing is very low profile, and other casinos far outmarket them.

The leaderboard prize is more like a prize not a promotion tool. Buying ads and advertising Sdice on faucet pages is more to what I refer to as promotion.I`m sure there are many gamblers that await to play here but they dont know about Sdice yet.

The leaderboard prize is an incentive to play on SatoshiDice, but its house edge is pretty high compared to other dice sites. It's good for investors, but not for players.

They also don't really NEED advertising as they're one of the oldest gambling sites established for Bitcoin. (Though, it's also good to have some marketing)

That is why they need promo because only the old players know satoshidice, the new ones +2014 onward rarely know it.

I think a marketing campaign can be very useful for satoshidice.

still missing 18.5 BTC.

i want to solve this matter, help me please.

Its either a bug that are hiding my coins or something corrupt happening, because they never got credited, so a withdrawel could never have been possible, thats what dont make any sense.

We see that your account first accessed the site with an anonymous proxy. There were then withdraw attempts from several IP numbers, including the ISP that appears to be your regular connection that withdraw the 2.39 amount successfully.

I'm just speculating here, but it's possible that the secret was stolen by a proxy operator if your personal URL was put in a bad web based proxy, or if you were using a proxy and accessing your account without putting https in front of your URL.

It's possible to password protect an account and this would block withdrawals even if the personal secret URL is compromised.

Thank you for proving my point!!

What amount was the unsuccsessful withdraw request? what time? now you have to make up the story and I will start poking holes in it, because your answers is clearly suggesting you are in for it with the heist of stealing my fucking money.

THE other satoshi, told me to not follow the blockchain because your wallet works internarnally, NOW YOU ARE TELLING ME TO FUCKING FOLLOW IT?

100% fucking scammers here!!!! IF you want your money stolen from you? SATOSHIDICE the longest standing betting dice game, is 100% corrupt.

MY ACCOUNT IS 100% NOT COMPROMISED, THIS IS AN INSIDE JOB 100%

I made all the answers. Your account made the withdrawal and it's easily proven that we sent it out. We have the logs and you confirmed that you first accessed the site through an anonymous proxy so I would suspect whoever runs that proxy.

Yes, we plan to do all of this during the winter. Right now we will just test the new login system and release a mobile friendliness update first. There's usually more than 3 players actually but we currently don't show all small bets in the recent bets list. We've been having around 20 bets per second so it didn't make sense to have the whole recent rolls table change every few seconds.

You keep on insisting your account is not compromised and they keep on insisting you made the withdrawal already. If this keep on going like this then you will not get what you are looking for. Id suggest to double or even triple check if your account is really not compromised

Hi Satoshidice,

I am considering to invest in Satoshidice, but I cannot find a registration membership button and the personal deposit address in the investment page is changing every time I visited to this page.

So, my question is, how can I make investment? Just deposit to the random deposit address? If so, where can I check the details of my investment (e.g., profits and losses).

I dont think you should do that, you get a secret url for every visit. That is your account, you must save that secret url and add a password, only after that use the site.

Here are few main problems Satoshidice encounters.

The biggest problem being their support. Support takes weeks to respond and more then 50% of the time they do nothing to help with the specific situation.

Second one being Bugs. Just by exploring the site for an hour or so i found over 10 bugs. Sure, most of them were small bugs that didn't affect security, but if just by exploring the site i found over 10 bugs, there is obviously more complicated/security related bugs.

Anyway, my point being if satoshidice doesn't fix these problems i dont think they are going to be able to gain any market share.

Satoshi Dice have been open for a long time, I highly doubt they would risk their reputation by stealing 18.5 bitcoin.
Sorry to hear about your loss SameDamnBTC but this wouldn't be Satoshi Dice's doing, there must be some other kind of explanation.

Hello, you would need to save the secret in your URL so that you can go to the same URL every time. Setting a password is strongly recommended. Once you click the invest button, you will get a bankroll balance and it will say how big is your share of the total bankroll. Your profit will be shown in real time. You can divest and withdraw at any time.

We are about to force account creation soon, but the change will be almost seamless and you will still use the same account. Everyone will login with email and password soon, but no email confirmation will be needed.
