(The last famous words) Now that Pirate just announced to close his shop let's all go in [Drama Queen Mode: ON] and start bitching and moaning, so to get at least some phun. IMHO he could have been hit badly by the price shoot already, and the panic withdrawals as a reaction to his dividends cut may have been the last straw. Any idea about what happens next? |

Same scenario for me, got some BTC in, deposited a big chunk yesterday only to find out that its closing lol. I think the endless streams of FUD ruined this opportunity, oh well, was a good run. |

I've sorted it, as long as I have the coins by monday(so tuesday for me) I won't lose anything, and I would have gained a few days interest. Remember that the next interest payment was due on Monday, and it appears that a whole bunch more people than usual may have made withdrawal requests. If he failed to make the interest payment on Monday or people's withdrawals now there wouldn't be a whole lot of people wanting to deposit money anyway. This way he has a justification for why he's delaying payments. In other words, it could just be a stalling tactic. |

Yea, it doesn't make much sense. Unless he has paid paid a considerable sum. I wouldn't have seen a sell off until he started to repay everyone...So, it must be the bitcoin holders *knowing* that there will be a huge sell off soon...
