(The last famous words)

Now that Pirate just announced to close his shop let's all go in [Drama Queen Mode: ON] and start bitching and moaning, so to get
at least some phun.

IMHO he could have been hit badly by the price shoot already, and the panic withdrawals as a reaction to his dividends cut may have been the last straw.
Any idea about what happens next?

According to Pirate BTCST is now closed.

my withdraw was just cause I needed my coins, I was going to put whatever was left back after using them...

and now I won't be seeing them for days?

... that's pretty fucked up ... and will probably cost me more than being involved was worth in the first place

Well, in the end as long as I get them all is good...

Same scenario for me, got some BTC in, deposited a big chunk yesterday only to find out that its closing lol. I think the endless streams of FUD ruined this opportunity, oh well, was a good run.

I've sorted it, as long as I have the coins by monday(so tuesday for me) I won't lose anything, and I would have gained a few days interest. So I'm back to being happy and can have a good weekend

I would not want to be pirates PM box right now

No point in announcing forced withdraws if he wasn't going to pay everyone back, he would just let people keep depositing wouldn't he?

it ain´t over till its over Cool

the deposit queue should be watched and referred to not the withdrawls Wink

its as in pyraminings buiseness..even as its not a pyramid scheme.....if the fat old garfields only  care about how to access the site and push the withdrawl button

shop sucks, slows down, stumbles and closes Cry

no invention, no advertising, no new ideas, no discussion not even more infighting or at least new bets.........only counting money...thats not what

the holy spirit will support any longer

Cheers Zyk

So Bitlane is the chief of the Garfields ?

i kinow some more Wink

I guess.... but he wouldn't get many more deposits without honouring the withdrawals.

Thanks for neat income:)

Now I suggest pyramining investment. Lower return but save.

Mine with your Bitcoins: www.facebook.com/pyramining (always active links)
Exchange all your altcoins on Vircurex (smaller fee from that link)

Remember that the next interest payment was due on Monday, and it appears that a whole bunch more people than usual may have made withdrawal requests. If he failed to make the interest payment on Monday or people's withdrawals now there wouldn't be a whole lot of people wanting to deposit money anyway. This way he has a justification for why he's delaying payments. In other words, it could just be a stalling tactic.

I wonder if the drop in BTC/USD has anything to do with this... Sure is funny that this is announced and the bitcoin drops by almost 2 dollars.... If everyone does get their coins back, I agree that we will see a correction in BTC, if he defaults, It may still go down, but not nearly as much..

Of course it have...

I figured the opposite: that the price spike was due to him buying BTC to face the wave of withdrawals...

Yea, it doesn't make much sense. Unless he has paid paid a considerable sum. I wouldn't have seen a sell off until he started to repay everyone...So, it must be the bitcoin holders *knowing* that there will be a huge sell off soon...

Watching prices tank is painful right now.

I skipped the past couple pages after reading 10 of speculation. Are Mondays interest payments going out or is that not going to happen?
