They're hashing at 28.09 over the past 48 hours.. Nothing spectacular yet. Unless you count the two blocks in the last hour, which is likely luck.

That wasn't my interpretation of why they found two blocks in the last hour. We'll see.

You guys are speculating that Friedcat is deploying what he described as "experimental 2nd gen" by switching everything off?

wut.jpg

Why would he even do that for large scale 2nd gen rollout? Surely he's not going to shut down gen 1 yet.

Even if he's not planning to deploy full-scale till late December he should be getting his e-beam sample chips within the next couple of weeks, so he could be testing those any time now.

What makes no sense is shutting ANYTHING down for that.

It goes like this, it seems -

Temporary good luck? Friedcat increased the hashpower!

Temporary bad luck? Don't worry, Friedcat is increasing the hashpower!

Blocks 257124 and 257126 were also both ASICMINERs .... Very recently. Where is lot of luck also bad luck is...

Or they might hash only half the day ...to save energy or hide their capabilities!? [/irony]  Tongue

FC does have a track record or under-promising and over-delivering. For all we know he could be setting up quantum miners and the just drop a post out of the blue tomorrow telling everyone they are available through his usual reseller channels.

It is always fun to speculate that he may be ahead of his timelines, and it is certainly possible. Or that me may be moving datacenters to more reliable locations, or that it's all just the luck of the draw.

I guess for me that's part of the appeal.  Smiley

whatever it is, there is some buying demand out there, just watched ~120 shares get bought up in the last hour.

Anticipation of a decent div?  Or just leaving the other securities?
