1001  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chess on Sports/eSports betting on: June 28, 2020, 11:38:03 AM
No offense but most people nowadays look at chess as a boring sport. Though I am seeing it being applied in esports but a game mode of it. It was started in the arcade of Dota 2 which is the Dota Chess. It is pretty interesting and addicting to be honest since it is like a gamble where you based on your luck if the heroes you will be getting will follow what you want to build.

Some years back I tried playing chess and also did learned from the friend or must say tried learning the game but soon understood that this requires huge concentration and need to be very focused as you need to know not only your movement but also how the opponents movement and how it could be danger if you move just 1 wrong move in the game. It is very exhaustive game but not my type of it.

Well, its about tactics, strategies, the memorization of possible moves. It is exhausting but it is really fun if you are thinking about how you will be taking down your opponent's king. But it is more fun when they actually apply it in games. Started by Dota 2, as far as I know, LoL also have this game mode and also Mobile Legends.

This is true that this is all about strategy, the moves of yours and that of opponent needs to be known so that accordingly you can also make the move. It really requires lot of brain muscle to work and that too it should be very quick in thinking and expected results of the move. Well this is surely not everyone games and also it requires lot of calmness in head to think decisively.

Well, we can say that it is also the collection of all the games a player played being applied in a game over and over again, it is really hectic. I am bad with these kinds of sports, even in games like RTAs where you need to think of a good strategy to defeat your enemy. It is a collection of knowledge, skills, experience, and a lot of other things in-between.
1002  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK rules will hit loot boxes games hard - as they’re turning kids into gamblers. on: June 27, 2020, 11:58:38 PM
It is their decision that will be followed. To me personally, however, it does not sound gambling at all.

Those elements of surprise and chance are not enough a reason so that those loot boxes games should be considered gambling. Buying a mystery box is not gambling.

At first, I saw it as a harmless way for players to spend their money and for that gaming platform to earn some but in the long run, players are kind of addicted to buying them. They are after rare items and the chance of getting them is low compared to normal ones. They will not stop until they get themselves a rare in-game item and that might take a while and take some money that is why I consider it as gambling.
1003  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is becoming legal in my country! Any business idea? on: June 27, 2020, 11:49:49 PM
Crypto exchange, for the local.
But be prepare with bunch of legal documents that you need to provide.  Grin

I think this is also hard since you might be talking to someone that has no idea or no experience in managing an exchange let alone securing the whole thing. You need a team for that and that also means that you need a fund, a big fund to start that. If you can do it, if you can afford it then I also suggest or recommend this idea.

world war 3 is coming ...do to coronavirus / economy ...
I have read something in facebook saying that this pandemic is already the world war 3. They also say that a particular country already won this battle and this country is also the country who created the virus. I do not know if I will believe in this thing coz I know that not everything in facebook is true. But the post I have read has something to say.
I do not believe China (or other country) actually developed the virus and/or did spread it on purpose.
Current times could be claimed as ww3 in terms of human/economical losses and overall community psychosis

Some say that the virus spread from a laboratory. I guess we could really say that the virus is already made and just leaked into the public. But it can connect to the fact that this might be intended. I am not blaming anyone though, it is just from the statement that it is leaked from a laboratory, we can also say that it might be intended.
1005  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Movie about SATOSHI Nakamoto on: June 27, 2020, 01:19:49 PM
So are they sending a signal that they wanted Satoshi Nakamoto and they wanted to spill the information about him and the bitcoin? Even if it is a movie they might just use this movie and they are really sending a message to him but still, it is just a movie. I hope they could also feature some of the important people behind the technology of bitcoin.
1006  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading in India is on fire on: June 27, 2020, 12:44:05 PM
anyway bitcoin is now allowed on india again ? what the heck   ,  cant count the times they banned and unbanned btc   .  what wrong with thier governments   , are they  confused or what   ?

Well, it is a decentralized cryptocurrency so maybe they are looking for how the people will react to it and they will make a law if that turned out to be bad or maybe banning it, again. As far as I know, the interest of Indians to crypto currencies are increasing and they might be one of those countries with a lot of users but the government, again, might ban the said currency, I don't know what they are really thinking.
1007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: June 27, 2020, 12:07:35 PM
We are close to finding the cure for the coronavirus. China has already received the go-ahead for testing its large-scale phase 3 vaccine in the UAE.
Which shows good hope for overcoming this pandemic.
While so many of us must settle for games without fans. Until the final cure arrives.

I hope we really are. It will still take some time even the vaccine was invented or found. The release of the vaccine to other countries might take a while but I do hope that we can find quickly the vaccine. I am so excited to watch a game again and bet on it. We should be seeing the playoffs now of NBA, that virus is really annoying.
1008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fortnite Betting? on: June 27, 2020, 11:39:21 AM
There are a lot of them online but I don't like betting on Fortnite or even PUBG. It is not that I dislike them, I play PUBG but in a game where a lot of players are fighting each other, it is hard to easily conclude who/which team will win. Unlike MOBAs where you can analyze a team's game and their opponents game. Like other FPS like CSGO where it is usually the popular esports to bet.
1009  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chess on Sports/eSports betting on: June 27, 2020, 11:04:15 AM
I do play Magic Chess in Mobile Legends but I don't think there is a tournament for it for us to bet on it.

Also, I do agree with the earlier posts that Chess is not that popular, despite the rick culture of it originating in the 16th century. I guess people would consider more betting in marble rather than a game of chess.

There are but it's between club to club and city to city tournament, on online there are minor tournaments, but you can always do peer to peer betting
chess is a very silent game but it's one of the most popular sports in the planet roughly 650 million people can play it

https://www.chess.com/news/view/how-popular-is-chess-8306

People are actually betting on it and most of them do it offline rather than online. Still, I asked my friend about this and he gave me a site which he saw in Reddit posted 7 years ago. I don't know if this is already posted here but here is the site. I also don't know if the site is a legitimate one but it is posted 7 years ago and they are still active so I think it is a legit site.

1010  Economy / Economics / Re: China will rule world as economy king after crisis end? on: June 27, 2020, 01:20:03 AM
and if China emerges as the next and only superpower that will be because it was going to happen anyway and not because of this crisis in particular.

On the other opinion to this, I would agree that if China becomes the world power, it is because of the effect of covid-19. Example is that, China has gone back to business of supplying medical support to countries of the world and this means money is coming to them. Also recognition as some smaller countries would see them as helper and there economy will start going faster more than other countries.

Well, we don't know what will really happen. All we know is that if a country gets the vaccine first or maybe get something effective to be used in this pandemic, it will be profiting a lot of money. Remember when Spain ordered a lot of kits from China, that will be the case. But we can't still say that China is profiting from this since they are really onslaught by this. They are also affected by it badly.
1011  Economy / Economics / Re: world war 3 is coming ...do to coronavirus / economy ... on: June 27, 2020, 12:09:54 AM

Well, the media has always been failing to show the real picture.

I think the media is now becoming the bigger problem in modern life. The media business now has turned into politics and conspiracy against unfavoured government. If the media plays to reality, many nations would have been at peace.
Op is just spreading more fud in collaboration with the media.

My co-teacher said that this is the most powerful right now since people are not actually seeing anything behind those articles, behind that news and they can manipulate anything they wanted to. She even said that this can even spark a war, and I don't think it is impossible since we can see how this news can affect people and maybe a nation.
1012  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading in India is on fire on: June 26, 2020, 11:31:29 PM
The people of India saw freedom and decided to embrace it and their Apex bank are angry with the people for trying to chat their own financial course. I hope the Apex bank chiefs won't approach the supreme court again to review their judgement giving legal backing to cryptocurrency trading.

We don't know though all we know is that they don't have the right to hold your freedom to choose where to put your money. If you all wanted to put that in the bank, it is your right. If you want to buy bitcoins and save them for later, that is your right. Either way, people are finding ways to gather profit and if they wanted to invest in bitcoins, that is fine, that is their money.
1013  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why we should never trust anyone for being the real Satoshi. on: June 26, 2020, 11:09:04 PM
There will be no proof of satoshi.

There are traces of him in the past where he is active. But we can't really prove someone to be him since that is what we have. Private Messages, Emails. In the past, I have this idea of making a thread about the old users using their profile number and asking them about Satoshi, one user replied to me and said that they did not even talk or still don't know each other. That might help since we might be able to check the earlier members of the forum and might be someone close to him but still, they can just always lie, that is why I stop.

1016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Physical Casinos Decoded : on: June 23, 2020, 12:04:39 PM
Thanks for the heads up. I never knew such details and planning by Casinos were done. Anyways now, because of the pandemic, many have shifted to online gambling. Those things are not applicable when you gamble online. The list does make me believe that online gambling is far much safer.

I think this still depends though. There are those online casinos that scam people, that take advantage of the people, and sometimes the provably fair is also not true. I think there should also be another thread like this but with the online casinos: decoded. Physical and online casinos have their own good sides and bad sides, it is just right now with the pandemic, it is much better to bet online.
1017  Economy / Economics / Re: world war 3 is coming ...do to coronavirus / economy ... on: June 21, 2020, 10:23:56 AM
Hoping things just get much better as this 2020 had bought all destructive things till now.

I think we are pushing ideas in our head because of the bad things that are happening but behind these smokes of destruction, of fear and incoherence, something will happen well. It is true that 2020 did bad on us that most of us lost hope but we are still here, all we can do right now is survive and do great another day. War or not, let's hold hands and help ourselves and our people. That is what we can do right now, help the helpless.
1018  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese Strategy? on: June 20, 2020, 12:57:04 PM
If the covid19 is one of China's strategy then, they already succeeded because whole world are now suffering of this virus pandemic and we don't know if when it will end and when to have a medicine for it. But I think China has a cure for this that's why they are not too much affected even their market economy.

Based on the recent information, I don't think that they already have the vaccine. Don't you think that China would not be using that vaccine to earn money for themselves? They could create a vaccine if it is their strategy and sell them to neighboring countries and other countries as well. That would be a huge amount of money to raise. But no, they are also affected by it.
1019  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why we should never trust anyone for being the real Satoshi. on: June 20, 2020, 11:02:01 AM
I trust that the real satoshi is Nakamoto.

In Crypto we Trust. Vires in Numeris.

N+1

I trust that the real Satoshi is NOT some Borat-like character, who lies, who doctors legal documents, and defrauds people. I believe the real Satoshi would want his own myth dead.

I agree on this. Why would he just leave bitcoin and just come back claiming it back again? I don't understand that a genius guy like Satoshi Nakamoto would do that. He is just out there, might be smiling or laughing to those people who claims they are the real one. We never know, he might be reading this post from his mobile phone or PC.
1020  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading in India is on fire on: June 19, 2020, 11:44:51 PM
After legalizing bitcoin in India, bitcoin trading in India exploded in mid-May. Over the past month, there has been data indication, indicating that more bitcoin has changed hands on local, peer to peer exchange in India than before.

If this continues, with the way Indian's are going about bitcoin trading. The Indian market is likely to hold a great potential and importance for the future of the crypto economy. Since people in India is betting big on bitcoin

It is good for the Indians and also good for the overall adaption of bitcoins. When it become legal in a country, the more the people will use it. There will be many people who will come to know about bitcoin after hearing this legalization news.

I think this depends on the country as well. Bitcoin is not illegal in our country and it is legalized for some time now but I am not seeing any development and improvement of it for years now. An ATM was built but after that, no that many stores actually are accepting it. Maybe it would still take some time but for now, I hope that it would continue for India.
