1021  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Wallet.Dat Help on: September 21, 2023, 08:14:07 PM
I just want to add this if you are going to use the service from walletrecoverysevicea.com but don't trust them to send your wallet.dat then learn how to extract the password hash. You can submit only the hash.txt to them to brute force the password without giving your original wallet.dat file.

Check my old post below how to extract the hash of your wallet.

You have a good ping according to the logs but under ECMM the value seems abnormal.

Would you mind trying to replug all cables from the control board and I'd like you to switch to another pool because Nicehash is not a good pool.
You can try other pools from this link below or try Kano.is or f2pool then update here

1023  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BitcoinSnack.com Help needed for Bitcoin Vending Machine on: September 21, 2023, 12:54:45 AM
Second thing I noticed, you made few photoshop edits and you claim that you are trying to buy vending machine and in the same time you don't even own domain Bitcoinsnack.com, that is currently on sale...

What I believe is he owns the domain and he bought it from the Cosmotown domain provider at around $7 cheap a few days ago and then he hosted it to squadhelp trying to earn from commission by selling this domain with the Squadhelp landing page.

Read the revenue generating from squadhelp that I posted earlier.
1024  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Network issue on: September 21, 2023, 12:29:48 AM
So im going to do the one with a SD card slot first, but its got a BeagleBone board as i was running Braiins. So unsure which i download for the s19 pro 100th, i assume its "sd-recover-bmu-S19Pro-fixed-202006012027-release.zip    26.91MB

SD firmware for S19 Pro"

Could you confirm please?

If it's a beaglebone control board would you mind to check carefully the name of the controller?

It seems Bitmain does not have firmware for the s19/pro BB control board if the controller name is S19J_IO_BOARD_V2_0 then you will need the BB firmware from s19j as suggested from Bitmain check the link below.

1025  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Seed Phrase in Electum on: September 21, 2023, 12:05:34 AM
Thank you everyone......  It appears I have solved the problem.

Error was me writing down the words from Hodl and capitalizing them.  Entering them in lower-case worked.

That's good I hope that you transfer your funds to a newly created wallet because using two different wallets with the same seed backup is a bad security practice.

And better to stay using Electrum than HODL wallet you can create a new wallet with Electrum and then send all funds from your old wallet to this new wallet for safety purposes.
1026  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BitcoinSnack.com Help needed for Bitcoin Vending Machine on: September 20, 2023, 06:18:09 PM
Why did you add bitcoinsnack.com in the title of this thread?
It seems this domain is owned by squadhelp are you planning to buy this domain? Or do you already own this and hosted it to squadhelp with their landing page and you are trying to attract people with your idea to buy this domain or any available domains from Squadhelp to get commission?

The domain was just registered a few days ago according to Whois.

Read the Squadhelp revenue generating to those who don't know.
So the main purpose of this thread is to promote and earn from commission and to ask for a small donation.

Anyway, about the address you provided above you already received $400+
Why not start with this amount? The link provided by Mbitr above seems interesting snack vending machine and I think it won't cost too much to build it.
1027  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum, Android version! on: September 20, 2023, 05:29:32 PM
Thanks guys, once I used "passphrase" and then imported my seed into another device and got different keys ( long time ago ) so when I entered my seed this time I was waiting for the next button to be activated and it didn't, so I assumed mobile wallet operates differently, hence my confusion of encrypting wallet and extended seed word.

It works fine to me when importing my own seed phrase I think the problem is the extra space on the last words you put because the auto-suggest words when clicking it automatically add an extra space this is an old issue you need to manually type the last part without clicking the suggestion or if you click it make sure you erase the extra space on the last word.
And I think this issue has been resolved on the latest version unless you are still using the old version.

Here's the old thread that I'm talking about

1028  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer apparently without firmware on: September 20, 2023, 04:26:53 PM
Which exactly chip model did you replace?
Possibly the chip you are trying to use might not be compatible, faulty, or become damaged during the replacement process. If you have an extra chip try to replace it again.
But this time I recommend that you avoid applying excessive heat to the chip because chips are sensitive if you apply too much heat you are killing it.
1029  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is bitcoin have grant program ? on: September 20, 2023, 11:55:33 AM
Never heard of any grant program for Bitcoin but after a bit of research, I found The Human Rights Foundation grants $455,000 to 12 bitcoin projects worldwide from their Bitcoin Development Fund.

Source: https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/human-rights-foundation-grants-$455000-to-bitcoin-projects-worldwide

So it means Bitcoin has some grant programs and I think there are more grants out there.
1030  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Nano S don't work on: September 20, 2023, 11:29:56 AM
I Use macOS Monterey 12.6.9
the new cable don't solve the problem.
If the problem remains unresolved, the LCD may be broken so you don't have other choice but to replace it. Since you mentioned earlier that if this hardware wallet is broken, you will just buy a BitBox02 instead. However, I'd like to suggest a few alternative options. Apart from Bitbox02, there are other several hardware wallet options available with open-source code.

You can check them from the link below.

1031  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Innosilicon t2th+not hashing on: September 19, 2023, 05:45:27 PM
How can I get the logs?

I don't know exactly how but if you can access the IP would you mind adding this after you type the IP on the browser "/logs" without the double quote.

Sample 192.168.90.4/logs
Then post here with the insert code tag.
1032  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Network issue on: September 19, 2023, 05:41:17 PM
I'll give it a go but I think only 1 has a sd card slot. The other 3 don't have one

Would turning DCHP help and reset everything?

If the other 3 units do not have an SD card slot but there is a Micro/ OTG USB slot you will need a USB adapter or USB port to USB female connector to be able to flash the SD firmware to these miners that do not have SD card slot.

Check this guide below for non-SD card slot units.

1033  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Network issue on: September 19, 2023, 01:10:02 PM
So the 4 units are still unable to access the dashboard even you run them one by one.

I'd like you to try to flash the unit through SD card flashing.
If you don't know how to flash it through SD card check this guide below.

1034  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Network issue on: September 19, 2023, 11:53:59 AM
Have you tried to run them one by one to test if it's an IP issue or not?
Have you also set all miners in static instead of DHCP mode?

Also, would you mind to tell us the exact unit model of these miners?
And pool where you mine?
1035  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Sparrow wallet webcam help on: September 18, 2023, 11:58:55 PM
That's pretty bad for an old laptop but you can try to config sparrow wallet camera settings by editing the ~/.sparrow/config

Then look for this line
Code:
"hdCapture": false,

Replace the false with true or vice versa if it is set to true and then try to scan the QR code again.
1036  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Unusual mnemonic seed and alternative recovery options on: September 18, 2023, 11:49:53 PM
It seems the details match to blockchain wallet the only problem is the seed backup has 8 missing words. The chances of finding the remaining words is very slim and it would take years or decades to bruteforce this wallet.

Blockchain.info is their old domain have you tried to recover the wallet on blockchain.com?

If not yet check this link below it only requires email.

1037  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Innosilicon t2th+not hashing on: September 18, 2023, 10:57:04 PM

Yes. I managed to install the soc version. But it’s still not mining. It stays at the status page and never shows the hashrate, fan speed etc. I have left it running for about 2 hours now and does not appear on the pool also. What can I do more?

Would you mind to tell us where or what pool you mine you might be configuring the pool incorrectly extra spaces can cause to miner not to work properly.

If its setup fine then can you share the logs here so that we can analyze the issue
1038  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Nano S don't work on: September 18, 2023, 06:40:41 PM
Don't want to order a display and replace it by myself. I have only ordered a new cable. if it don't help I will order a bitbox 02.

While waiting for the new cable why not start to disassemble the unit it should be easy and check the LCD terminals and USB ports and try to clean it with isopropyl alcohol as I suggested above.

If it doesn't fix your issue even if you use a new cable then you don't have any other choice but to buy a new hardware wallet. Since you have a backup seed and passphrase you can easily recover it to other wallets that support BIP39.

If you don't know how to disassemble the unit check this video

1039  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanity Address Generator in Java on: September 18, 2023, 06:20:12 PM
Can we run it on android phones?
I don't think this would work on Android devices because .java extension only works if your PC have installed Oracle JDK. I don't find any Android apps that can able to run .java.

You are free to try but Playstore only show one app that could run java app called J2ME loader or try Java compiler.
1040  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Loss of assets in hardware wallets?! on: September 18, 2023, 01:11:15 PM
The first question could be possible since you mentioned ledger as we all know ledger wallets do not have open-source code we do not know what exactly happening on the device itself.

However, if you do not trust any of these manufacturers you can set up your own hardware wallet like the above said you can set up a cold storage like Electrum.
Actually, I do not trust any of the hardware wallet manufacturers even if it is open-source code or not. It all depends on how we protect our wallet from any attacks.
