He did a great job at Tottenham Hotspur who didn't have much provisions for a manager like Chelsea does. So if he can succeed at Tottenham, I think he'll succeed Chelsea
Not too many people think that Pochettino succeeded at Spurs, but it might be subjective anyway because what he did at Spurs might be considered a success to some people, especially when you consider the budget available at Spurs.

Having said that, i don't know how long it'd take Pochettino to win a trophy in Chelsea, but he will definitely get them to start playing his style of football which is pretty attractive (and offensive). I love how Spurs played under the management of Pochettino (even though they didn't win anything), thus the Stamford Bridge faithfuls are definitely going to enjoy attractive football, but hopefully it'd yield them trophies sooner or later.
1082  Economy / Economics / Re: Agriculture can save your country from recession on: July 10, 2023, 10:49:46 PM
normally farm is very good investment, and op you would related this farm business to bitcoin, either you used your bitcoin to invest in it because of food shortage or you are planning to use the money that will be getting from the farm to invest on bitcoin.
This is just a very small farm in which the produce would only be enough for family consumption, i don't see how Bitcoin can be used here. What is planted is definitely bought with fiat and i don't think the harvest is for sale, even if they are, do you think the next thing has to be buying Bitcoin with the money from the sale?
There is always food in farming so recession is minimal, and poor people always survive from farming.
Poor people can't really survive on farming because they can't grow all that they consume. The cost of acquiring a land for farming is also expensive, thus the best some of them can get is a small farm in their backyard that can't really produce much. The point is that to survive on farming is expensive and isn't for the poor.
1083  Economy / Economics / Re: Agriculture can save your country from recession on: July 09, 2023, 11:10:37 PM
Although I'm starting small but I have a great dream to feed the nation with my agro business.
Goodluck with that. Quite a lot of people going into agriculture think it is easy and would fetch them a lot of money once they get into it. Subsistence farming is a whole lot different from commercial farming, and when you get into the latter your cost rises rapidly, as well as the chances of failure despite the amount spent, thus look at things critically before you decide to 'grow' your 'agro business', it is not a walk in the park.
1084  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 09, 2023, 10:14:31 PM
To me its just a waste of money for an almost 30years old player.
Kane can play at the very top level for at least another five years, i don't see how this is a waste of money. If you look around; how many strikers in the world can currently lace Kane's boots? The thing is, Bayern Munich are not going to sign Kane because it is very difficult to negotiate with Daniel Levy, he would want Bayern to pay at least £100 million, and the German champions would definitely not pay that. Kane has to leave Spurs if he is to have any chance of winning a trophy, if he is really interested in leaving, he'd force a move out of the club.
1085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance cashback incentive - Would you hold BNB on the exchange? on: July 09, 2023, 10:00:14 PM
I don't hold BNB, whether in my own wallet or in an exchange. For people who are already holding BNB in their personal wallets, they can take advatage of this cashback, after considering the risks of course, but the thing is holding BNB anywhere is a risk on its own, so if they can earn cashbacks from the risk they are already taking, then it's a no-brainer. Having said that, what makes no sense is if one is going to convert a good coin they own (like Bitcoin) to BNB in order to earn from this cashback, that's a pretty bad decision.
1086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 09, 2023, 02:10:06 PM
These days Liverpool seem interested in only defensive players.
Liverpool are more interested in improving their midfield rather than their defense, they have quite a lot of problems in midfield and i think that's where most of their troubles stemmed from last season (though they were also bad defensively). Liverpool have signed both Mac Allister and Szoboszlai, two very good (and young) midfielders, i still expect Liverpool to sign at least one more midfielder as well as a defender and a striker. Jurgen Klopp's team were unable to challenge City for the title last season, but i think they are going to do that next season, but City still remain favorites of course.
1087  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 08, 2023, 11:10:41 PM
Felix has a lot to achieve as a  footballer and he must go back to Atletico Madrid and work on his  football development
It would be really difficult for him to achieve that in Athletico Madrid and especially under the management of Diego Simeone. Joao Felix is a brilliant attacking footballer and i think most of his talent is lost in Athletico Madrid because of the way Diego Simeone plays his own style of football (which is somewhat defensive). If Joao Felix wants to develop, i'm afraid he might have to leave Athletico Madrid for another team. Felix still has quite a lot of time on his currenct contract with Athletico Madrid (which expires in 2027), thus the club is going to demand a hefty price in transfer fee, his only way out might be a season long loan deal.

1089  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can I confirmed transactions by running a full node? on: July 08, 2023, 08:17:34 PM
...and during that process I wondered if anyone running a full node can confirm any Bitcoin transaction in a block even if they do not receive the gas fee? Is it necessary for the transaction to be confirmed by a miner?
Only miners can mine Bitcoin blocks, but mind you that miners do not mine a single transaction, the transactions will be compiled into a candidate block and then the miner will then try to add that block (containing many transactions) into the blockchain, the more transactions in a block will earn the miners more in transaction fees, but nonetheless they cannot exceed the block size limit.
1090  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wallet on: July 08, 2023, 07:12:49 PM
I suggest you to read the following thread provided :
That's too much links for the OP, and many of them are unrelated to the OP's trouble, they are a newbie as well so it is always better to keep it simple with noobs. To the OP: it is basically obvious that you are unfamiliar with even the basics of a Bitcoin wallet or crypto exchange, so i suggest you hold on and provide more information about the transfer you are attempting to make, to whom and the wallet you are using. Newbies are easily scammed in the network, thus it is in your best interest to contribute to the discussion in this thread and provide more information.
1091  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 07, 2023, 09:19:54 PM
I think the transfer market is now very bad. Clubs are now putting hefty price on players that don’t even worth much money.
It is what it is, it didn't start this Summer, it has been going on for a couple of years now, players are being overvalued and overpriced left, right and center. Declan Rice is a decent player, but he isn't anything close to a 105 million that Arsenal are going to pay for him. The thing is, looking at the current state of the transfer market, no club wants to miss out, if you have a decent and highly sought-after player, the next thing to do is to add to his actual value, outrageous.
1092  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigerian crypto tax move is ‘premature’ — Local stakeholders on: July 07, 2023, 08:51:09 PM
How dem go wan gain from tax on crypto when the CBN ban crypto transactions and directed banks make dem no dey run crypto transactions, that one no make sense na. If Nigerian government know say dem wan dey collect money from tax, then make dem come out clean tell us their mind about crypto, make we know wetin the guidelines/regulations be, as e be so for Naija nobody really know wetin be the government/SEC stand on crypto, but dem want tax, e no make sense.
1093  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Misuse of Bitcoin by the Nigerian Government on: July 07, 2023, 08:02:37 PM
Naija na very corrupt country, so your politicians no even need to put too much effort to loot money and hide the trace, the system dey very corrupt, so e dey very easy for them to buy people over and close the mouths wey dem wan shut. Shay you know say Bitcoin blockchain dey transparent, so politicians no need something wey dem go fit use trace looted funds to them later, and the kind big funds wey dem dey steal go hard dem to sell am for some exchanges, dem go continue to dey use naira and hard currencies dey steal public funds.
1094  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 06, 2023, 11:50:26 PM
Chelsea's New coach, Mauricio Pochettino, was once a Premier League coach, and from his record, he performed well with the time he spent, and he is a recognized coach in the world as well, so seeing him as Chelsea's new coach, I am happy, and I believe he will perform well and take Chelsea back to its normal standard in the Premier League. So I am fully expecting Chelsea's performance to be strong next season.
He was manager of Spurs, but he didn't win anything in all his time there, his best achievement was a CL final that they lost, thus i don't know if i can say he performed well at Spurs, but one thing he was able to do was to play attractive football that was very pleasing to watch. Having said that, Chelsea is a bigger team than Spurs with obviously a bigger budget, thus he might achieve his long awaited success in Stamford Bridge.
1095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 06, 2023, 11:07:58 PM
By the way, Mbappe will break the record on his transfer whether he signs a new contract with PSG or not. Real Madrid must pay more than 200 million euros, it is almost 300 million euros. No player ever reached this price on his transfer fees. Sometimes I think that this amount of money are too much for 1 player.
If he doesn't extend his contract this summer and he leaves PSG for free next summer, how is he going to break the world transfer record fee. Mbappe is the most valuable player in the world, but if PSG allow him to stay in the club without extending his contract, it is almost certain that he is going to go to Real Madrid next summer for free, that's why the club have made it clear to Mbappe, it is either he extends his contract, or they are definitely going to sell him this summer, we'll find out what Mbappe's final decision is in the coming weeks.
1096  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 05, 2023, 07:33:07 PM
Still i wonder if he dosent win the champions league will he get sacked in the first season like coaches before him.
This is the big question, both Mauricio Pochettino and Christophe Galtier were sacked after one season in charge, despite both of them winning the Ligue 1, but failing to win the CL. Well i don't think Luis Enrique will be sacked after one season if he does not win the CL, they will want to rebuild their team with Enrique in charge. Neymar and Mbappe could well join Messi and Sergio Ramos as part of the stars to leave the club this summer, so the club wouldn't expect Enrique to bring quick success to the team, he would have to take his time to find the best players for psg and that will take more than a season for that happen.
1097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 05, 2023, 08:43:28 AM
Next season, Liverpool are participating in the Europa League despite not playing the Champions League, meaning they have a chance to win the Europa League trophy for the first time. Even if Liverpool competes with Manchester City to win the EPL title, Liverpool may not be able to compete with Manchester City.
Manchester City won the Champions League title alongside the League title last season, meaning they had an equal focus on both titles. Next season too, they may have the same target to win the Premier League title as well as do well in the Champions League. In terms of strength, Liverpool will be far behind Manchester City in terms of winning the Premier League title.
I know that Liverpool are playing in the Europa league, but do not think that they are going to prioritize that trophy, for a big club like Liverpool, playing in the Europa League is a disappointment, the best thing about the Europa League is that it gives the winner a CL ticket for the following season, but Liverpool would want to qualify for the CL through the EPL.

Having said that, of course City remain the strongest team in England, but they will face very strong competition for the title next season, though they are still favorites, the dominance of City in England is definitely becoming scary for the other teams, and they'll not want City to win the league next season, but to stop them they have to do it on the pitch, which is so difficult.
1098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 04, 2023, 11:01:38 PM
if all goes well for Liverpool I think they can finish in the Champions League Zone next season.
I think they will do better than just merely qualify for the CL, i think Liverpool is going to be back in the picture to compete with Manchester City for the EPL title, Klopp has ample time to study his team and recruit the players he needs, and that is what they are doing already. Liverpool are not playing the in CL next season, thus they can fully concentrate on the EPL and give City a good fight. Next EPL season will be so interesting, City are going for their fourth consecutive EPL title, and all the teams will be out to stop them, it'd be so competitive.
1099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are altcoins important? on: July 04, 2023, 09:37:53 PM
Scam, death both have in altcoins market so why you want investing altcoins?
My opinion buy dip and sold faster on some profits like to be best revenge for all altcoins investors!
What's your skills and opinion?
Well, altcoins are definitely important to quite a lot of people, but definitely not me, i don't like short term projects, neither do i like to gamble, and these are both peculiar to altcoin investments. I know altcoin investors might disagree, but altcoins are basically risky pump and dump coins with no actual utility. Having said that, i invest in Bitcoin over altcoins because it has an actual utility and i am pretty certain that it is sustainable for the long term, that's the difference to most altcoins that survive only on hype and nothing else.
1100  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which will be best non-KYC exchanger after Ku-coin? on: July 04, 2023, 08:21:56 PM
start using uniswap like platforms or the DYDX platform, you don't need to use or pass KYC verification before you can trade your Bitcoin or other assets.
Uniswap/DYDX platforms doesn't support trading Bitcoins, it is for ERC-20 tokens and Defi scams, if you want to recommend decentralized exchanges for trading Bitcoin, then there's Robosats and bisq.
It's a shame that the most trending crypto exchanges in this space are all centralized exchanges, we need more active decentralized exchanges and not just active, the reason why most users still prefer centralized exchanges is because of the users experience.
Decentralized exchanges are around and active for you to trade if you decide to, they usually don't have drama about dishonesty around them like centralized exchanges, but it doesn't mean they aren't around and active.
