1081  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation & Supply Chain Issues-How bad is it going to get?! on: October 22, 2021, 03:29:24 PM
I think I focus more on my needs or goods/services I need everyday... As far as I tell, there isn't much increase in price except in the price of water which I immediately stopped using after inquiring whether the increase was justified. Fortunately, there is steady supply of natural water at home which could be boiled before drinking, even though it's clean physically.

I think if price of something increase so much, better to look for good and cheaper alternatives of same/similar size rather than adding to the demand. If lots of people do this, that could force the price to come down.
1082  Other / Off-topic / Re: Healthy life on: October 22, 2021, 02:55:23 PM
What does it really mean to be healthy?

It's a question that we have to ask ourselves, is it all about eating good meals, have your normal bath, do some work-outs, etc. If yes, you got something missed out, how often do you go for medical check-ups to see how your body system works?

You have to imbibe the attitude of going to your doctor after a period of time for medical check up. It does really matters slot, our body needs it for a healthy life.
Healthy living!!!

Medical checkup should do if it's done by a good doctor, otherwise you run the risk of wrong diagnosis.

I actually believe a healthy body should be effective and producing good fruits. How the human works should give us a clue. A body that makes too many mistakes, not articulate, behave abnormally,  have minor issues like headaches, stomach pains, and other symptoms should be enough sign of an unhealthy body.

It should be able to heal itself naturally and by living healthy lifestyle, if the issues are not that serious, otherwise a good healer should help.
You can also heal yourself by faith, whether small or big illness. Hospitals are for those who don't have much faith to be healed miraculously. And it's important to patronize good hospitals and doctors/healers.
1083  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Walmart Sells Bitcoin on: October 22, 2021, 10:45:41 AM

The good thing with Coinstar kiosks is that retail buyers are allowed to buy small amounts of Bitcoin for as long as they're paying with paper bills. The downside, however, is that you are required to setup a CoinMe account which requires KYC. In addition, there is also a 4% transaction fee plus another 7% cash exchange fee.

Do you think this will be successful?

As long as the third-party/middle-man problem which Bitcoin is meant solve to make transactions cheaper than the traditional financial systems doesn't discourage people or give them bad impression about the cryptocurrency
1084  Economy / Economics / Re: Will circular economy work ? on: October 22, 2021, 10:17:48 AM
When people see these kinds of things, they believe that it has to be done right now and it has to be done 100% and that should be the end of it. What people do not realize is that we could provide a lot more profit to people who recycle and repair and refurbish etc etc, and as people we could see stuff that are not brand new as still okay, then we will be doing fine.

We do not have to change it all, we could simply just do something like a bit more laws that support it, just paying more to people who recycle, paying more to people who pick up trash and put them in right places, all in all just promote this kind of behavior while also allowing brand new stuff as well, keep the world as it is on this part. Basically what I am trying to say is that, this could be an "option" and not forced and it would still be a lot better, it's proven that it would help the world for sure.

In regards to paying people to pick up trash, I think you could do that in a way that does not encourage them to throw away trash in order to recieve more payments. I won't be surprised if those you pay to pick trash, secretly trash a clean place in order to get more payments. Maybe they should be rewarded more (not necessarily with money) if they are able to maintain the cleanliness or prevent people from littering the streets at all.

If everywhere remains clean and there is no job for them, they could litter the place themselves to continue to recieve rewards.
I'm not sure who deliberately and massively trash a place that was paid for to be cleaned. Sometimes I suspect it's those you paid to clean it up because one of them always comes by to ask that he gets the place cleaned up again. Or it could just be neighbors who are too stingy to pay for trash pickers, or just sadists

They should basically be paid sufficiently if they deserve to paid or if everything is done right.
1085  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scientific proof that God exists? on: October 22, 2021, 09:21:09 AM
GOD, The CREATOR of Heaven and Earth is here with us and you are still looking for proofs? Do you think you would have survived the current war without HIM? I just hope people don't test GOD's patience. Sorry for those who refuse to believe after all the proofs they likely have witness.
HE has already commanded that HE should not be tested. This should be respected my friends.
1086  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the most strange thing that hapened to you today? on: October 22, 2021, 09:09:18 AM
Today I see is very hard to talk with people almost everyone that i talked to is acting strange.

I guess it's that feeling like everyone is conspiring against you or see you as some kind of enemy.
That will likely happen If you are trying to join another world "they" don't like.
Not a good idea to be in the middle. Join the system/matrix or the Holy side
1087  Other / Off-topic / Dealing with sophisticated kind of Plagiarists on: October 21, 2021, 04:27:42 PM
I'm talking about the kind of plagiarists that publicize your work before you do. I noticed that couple of times on a site I visit often (people posting what I was planning to post) and that made me suspect that they were going through my notepad, so I started allowing mistakes, uncompleted work or stop using the notepad atall to make things hard for them.
In regards to allowing mistakes, I write my posts without bothering about mistakes  or proofreading them, then I post and edit immediately. This should serve as proof I own and first posted the works.
So take note that I'll often edit my works few minutes (not hours or days) after posting. The ones I edited hours or days later (which rarely happens) are probably real mistakes.

*The main reason I'm abit bother about this is to avoid a situation where it seems multiple people discovered or invented something at the same time and it becomes difficult to identify who plagiarize the original works.
1088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The rise of Axie Infinity on: October 21, 2021, 04:05:15 PM
What do you believe to be the key factors that could have made this price movement possible?
AXS's price pump is due to staking, everyone's holding, and of course the others are using it for breeding axie, therefore there's a good chance AXS will pump even higher. It has a wide spectrum of uses, and I expect that SLP will add more in the future. I can't wait for Battle 2.0 and Axie Land; perhaps they'll add more SLP usecases and a potential of SLP pumping if that time comes.

Axie is popular, which is one of the reasons it pumped so hard, and I believe it will pump even harder in the future.

Interesting.
Well, I'll probably still keep researching to see if it's worth whatever price it's currently worth.
Hope it's not like the current NFT space where worthless piece of art can fetch people lots of money.  I think people should spend their time and money on something worthwhile so they don't regret later.
1089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more suitable for investors, Eefi or NTF? on: October 21, 2021, 03:02:03 PM
Guess what you mean up there is DeFi instead of Eefi.  I think non-fungible doesn't necessarily mean non-interchangeable. It should be possible to use them interchangeably on some specifical NFT ecosystem because it's probably a special asset class that may not be well suited for the current defi systems. You could still have unique space for NFTs on DEFI
1090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you actually using/buying NFT's, and Gaming Tokens? on: October 21, 2021, 10:19:29 AM
There is a big hype for all NFT & Gaming Tokens these days, I wonder how many person can actually say they own any art forms under, same for Game tokens.

I am sure there are way more buyers of the tokens than there are users!

Interesting.     Users should be asking what purpose does the NFT serve or what problem do you use the NFT to solve. If it solves little to no problem, you shouldn't be make too much money from it.
I hope those who use NFT for games are using it the right way. It should be contributing to society, developing you and helping you be useful members of your society.

If you are too attached to the monetary reward, you would create anything that makes you more money, whether good or bad. That space needs to be structured to attract talented users who are passionate about using NFT to do useful things. Focusing more on the reward aspect will attract the wrong people
1091  Economy / Economics / Re: A tale of the two parasites on: October 21, 2021, 09:44:07 AM
Interestingly, lots of the things I depend on today are from the poor. I think I could survive with them alone if I have no other means to survive, but I doubt the rich can sustain me if I live with them only. To be honest, I can't live in a society without the poor but I can live in a society without the rich. Doesn't mean I don't like the rich but I doubt they can sustain themselves alone without the poor. .

The problem is simply those who are not fruitful whether poor or rich.
1092  Other / Off-topic / Re: Hard drugs on: October 21, 2021, 09:25:33 AM
Well, cocaine and heroine should be bad assuming they are synthetic/man-made. Unfortunately I haven't seen them physically before or how they are made to know if this's fact or not. I saw them only on movies/internet though. Nothing man-made is perfect or good for our consumption.

In regards to the other you called cannibis, I'm not sure exactly what it is but if its natural which they are likely are from what I have seen online, then it's good, nothing made by GOD is bad and nothing good should be refused.
The natural one is hard drug to those who misuse/abuse it. Such may be prevented from using it until they are responsible enough not to abuse or misuse it.

1093  Other / Off-topic / Re: Marital life on: October 21, 2021, 09:09:04 AM
How it started, one can't really explain. One thing people say is "love is blind", but you don't have to get blind buddies. You may choose the wrong partner, it's funny but that's reality.

Start by having a date, after a while you guys get more close to each other, knowing the do's and don't of your partner. The journey just started, trust me you'd make a good marital life as time goes on. Stay safe.

Better to do so in places that you will find hard to do what ought not to be done to your friend/partner. I think doing that in the open or publicly, especially in your parents homes which I expect should be good homes, should be acceptable. No touching until marriage.
The closeness should afford the friend the time and opportunity to know each well,  know what it entails to be together as Husband/Wife and finally determine whether they can be joined & live together in marriage till death separate them.
Once you are joined together by the CREATOR, you become one body/flesh and what the CREATOR has joined together, let no man divide.
The new family should based their marriage life on the Holy Scripture for a peaceful and healthy marriage
1094  Economy / Economics / Re: Fuel prices hitting an eight year high on: October 20, 2021, 04:26:20 PM
Fuel prices have skyrocketed in the past few months, on a worldwide scale. Here in Greece, the average price per liter for 95 Unleaded petrol is €1.75, while for diesel it's approximately €1.45. A huge surge is also expected, in the soon-to-be launched season of heating gas oil, which is expected to start within the next few weeks, with a rumored price of at least €1.10/liter.

I've read that this spike in prices is triggered by an increase in price per barrel, due to oil companies worrying about the pandemic, while their production is limited compared to the higher demand. Have you heard anything relative? What's causing this surge in prices, could it be a one-off thing which lasts a couple of months at most?

What's the average cost of petrol/diesel in your country? Share your thoughts on what exactly is causing this crisis, which is also spiking electricity costs up, increasing the budget for the average household.

https://www.bbc.com/news/business-58718148

Oil companies will increase fuel prices again for the sixth-straight week. The price adjustments reflect movements in the international oil market.
Source: https://www.cnnphilippines.com/news/2021/10/4/Big-time-fuel-price-hike-Oct.-5-.html

Currently, we are also experiencing price surges and hikes here in our country. The average unleaded here will cost $1.17 per liter while the diesel was roughly $0.88 dollars, almost every week the prices will go up as well as the electricity because we cannot depend on the hydro power plants and windmills here to supply our daily household electricity needs and forcing individuals to pay more for the pump while having less for their daily needs.

Hope I'll soon get a confirmation concerning the real reason for the price increase. That should help me determine what to advice to help reduce price. I just hope people do elect leaders who could quickly solve problems like that without creating more problems. Any mistake contributes to National/World problems
1095  Economy / Economics / Re: Legalising would give a chance to Latin America on: October 20, 2021, 03:21:54 PM
Bad or Evil Law create problems like that in societies. Rather than create laws that become burden to people, create something that they can't find too difficult to obey so you don't create anarchy or lawlessness in your society.
If a good natural drink is safe for consumption, why ban it in the first place? If it has consumption limit that could cause problems to the drinker/society if surpassed, then create a law that prevents people from taking too much or abusing it. *This is limited to things that have been permitted to us (by the CREATOR of our World) to consumption.
1096  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are ghosts real? :o on: October 20, 2021, 02:58:49 PM
I've never seen this. Someone saw it with their own eyes? It is difficult to believe in something that no one believed.

Better not to bother yourself with this, or things like ghost videos/stories, else you could become paranoid and probably start having "paranormal activities" around you.
I have observed on the internet world that you attract what interest you, very similar in physical world. So, ignore and maintain your innocence.

However, when you know the Truth you will be terrified. Our real World is the Spiritual World, it controls the Physical world. It's very likely (more than 80% likely) that the person close to you is controlled by ghosts/spirits/entity that is not his/hers.  If you speak to that person, you are likely not talking to him but the entity.

1097  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Cryptocurrency be a Global Currency in the Future? on: October 20, 2021, 10:35:22 AM
Bitcoin/crypto is already a Global Currency, I guess you are referring to Bitcoin becoming a major One World Currency that makes most Nations abandon their national currencies for it. I think the nations would want to have centralized control over Bitcoin to let that happen, which is not what Bitcoin was built for.
Bitcoin can however remain the main global cryptocurrency in Crypto space with fiats existing in their own space.
1098  Economy / Economics / Re: Really, why bitcoin has this value? on: October 20, 2021, 10:00:42 AM
Well, you probably will be shocked if it had crossed $200,000 today after the halving but I actually prefer the price movements to be gentle and sustainable.
To be honest, I think it's worth above what it's currently worth because it's a unique technology that alots copy cats are based on.   And always have it in your mind that most/all of the copy cats are substandard version of Bitcoin. The original will always have higher quality until the minds behind it no longer develop it (or have been compromised/weakened) . That would require a replacement with people that share thesame original ideology and principles...this's part of reasons I stick with Bitcoin for now.  I haven't yet seen any decentralized thing in this space that can serve people in very difficult times without compromising on the good principles
1099  Economy / Economics / Re: Will circular economy work ? on: October 20, 2021, 09:28:21 AM
Will circular economy work ?

The circular economy is a model of production and consumption, which involves sharing, leasing, reusing, repairing, refurbishing and recycling existing materials and products as long as possible. In this way, the life cycle of products is extended.

In practice, it implies reducing waste to a minimum....
https://www.europarl.europa.eu/news/en/headlines/economy/20151201STO05603/circular-economy-definition-importance-and-benefits

Ofcourse, that could minimize wastage but you have to be really humble and prudent to be able to reuse things in that manner. Lots of people don't really like used things probably for the wrong reasons. The only acceptable reason why you may need to avoid certain used things is safety issues. You would need to make sure that former owner didn't misuse a product in a way that it becomes harmful to you and others. So, you have to be sure it's clean/safe before use.

I actually like that kind of economy alot but it needs to be done the right way to avoid problems. Shared things will need strict rules to avoid misuse/abuse and to ensure that something is in proper shape before it's transfered to the next user.
I really like how a gentleman who deals on used vehicles treat them before resell. Probably a standard set by the country (I guess UK) he's from. Guess a vehicle has to pass certain safety checks before they can be sold in the country.

I also prefer things to be built for multiple purposes not just one or few purposes. That should help curtail the number of product a user has to buy to take care of important needs
1100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Privacy vs. anonymity on: October 19, 2021, 04:51:57 PM
Well, I would simply consider Privacy as something that belongs or is known to you alone.
I typically see Anonymity as part of Privacy. If a user prefers to be anonymous, he doesn't want his name/identity to be public. He probably just wants to keep the information private.

So, I would go for Privacy because it covers anonymity. Ofcourse, we can't have 100% privacy, but it's important to claim the Right and make it a rule so that whoever is violating it will be owing you a debt the law could compel him/her to settle.  There is also the likelihood of  lawless non-human entity going through your private stuff
