1141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep track of your gambling? how? on: May 08, 2020, 01:46:28 PM
do you registerhow much you separate for gambling?
do you see it as an investment?

if yes, how do you track it?
simples spreadsheets, physical notebooks or maybe some different way?

Right now I am not doing that since I don't gamble right now that much often. Thanks to the ECQs and lockdowns I can enjoy myself with my family and them stopping myself from gambling online and offline obviously. I did in the past and what I am using is a spreadsheet, when I am not in my house, I do it on my phone and then export it in my laptop.
Keeping track of every bet wouldn't' be good entertainment and I doubt the gamblers will be able to enjoy fully from the game session. Instead of keeping tracks, using the gambling platforms that offer to download the bet history as a CSV form will be an efficient solution to calculate profit/loss.

That is right. It is a bit annoying sometimes since you will be forgetting that and try to remember the bets you did. If you are doing it online there is no problem since there are some gambling sites that show your account's history and you won't bother to write or type them in a spreadsheet.

1143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency fraud and scams on: May 07, 2020, 11:32:44 PM
If you will be thinking of it, it is also our fault when we are scammed or hacked. It's been years since I invested in bitcoins and other crypto currencies and I am only scammed twice and not been hacked. If we will be falling to the ploys of scammers and hackers, they would continue to do their thing so as long as there are victims there will always be those suspects. What I am saying here is that we should be wary of these scammers and hackers.
1144  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency can not replace fiat currency. on: May 07, 2020, 10:26:13 PM
i think someday crypto really can change fiat fully, like rightnow in pandemic the virtual payment on e-wallet really help people to do some trancaction
Actually right now the use of crypto as payment added importance because of this pandemic. But we cannot deny the fact that some people do not aware of this technology. Fiat is still the most use these days since other people cannot adopt this crypto although it helps people ease of use as payment online.

Well, that is true, but the people not aware of this technology is also true and it is really sad to know that. Here in our country, despite the pandemic being a problem, people are still using the normal ways of payment. It is not that they do not want to use crypto currencies at all, it is just that they are not aware that they exist. Some use online payment I can't really blame them since there is only a few stores that actually accept bitcoin here.
1145  Economy / Economics / Re: Crisis after the epidemic on: May 07, 2020, 10:01:28 PM
How long do you think the crisis can last after the epidemic?
What are the most likely events to occur?

Some say almost 2 years but we never know since the vaccine could be invented earlier than that, and I hope that it would actually happen. After that, I think it would be back to normal since there is no problem when it comes to jobs and wages. Companies or owners are giving their workers their payment despite the lockdown, some even already gave their 13th-month pay.
1146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Play? on: May 07, 2020, 01:32:20 PM
If something like this exist, will you still play? Do you think it is a bad idea to make the users make a donation in this way?

I think this is great. Usually, when I gamble, I don't care how much I am spending since in the past I can afford it and when I win I usually bring foods or gifts to my nieces. I think this is the same and it is better if that would be automatically activated so that we can't either stop it or when we have a change in our mind to avoid it.
1147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some People Cannot Stop The Urge To Sports Betting And Gamble Even In Pandemic on: May 06, 2020, 02:02:00 PM
I don't know if we are in the same country but I think we are since the government are also giving money here to the people so they can use it for their essentials or needs but some of them are actually using the money they received to buy drugs or as you said, gamble. It is really heartbreaking seeing those kinds of people and other people here have been reporting this and instead of staying in their houses, they are now hiding not only from the virus but also from the police. This is just stupid.
1148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What has been your longest streak of dice losses using martingale ..? on: May 03, 2020, 01:24:16 PM
I don't have enough balance as the OP did and I have 7 streaks on mine. I can't remember how much I deposited at that month but I managed to gain at least .1 btc at that time and then that 7 losing streaks wreak havoc. After that, I almost lost my profit so I stopped betting and just do a certain amount of bets every day. I still lost all of them though.
1149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin be the ideal currency of the future? on: May 03, 2020, 11:37:20 AM
Well, I didn't thought of these. But about stable value, we determine it. We just have used to compare bitcoin with dollar. Imagine if there wasn't any euros or dollars. Just bitcoins. I think it would mean stable.

I think an ideal currency will never be a decentralized one. As we all wish that bitcoin is the currency of the world, we will never be able to achieve that since as long as it is decentralized, it will never be one. The value and the control, I think that is the reason why being decentralized is not a feature of an ideal currency, this is just my opinion though.
1150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which investment is a safe haven Gold or Bitcoin? on: May 01, 2020, 02:00:07 PM
In terms of being safe, I would go 100% with Gold since there are a lot of times that it is proven how good it is as an investment. Bitcoin is good too but not that safe since we all know how volatile it is in the short run though we should also consider the profits bitcoin gave in the long run. Even though it is volatile, in the long run, people got a lot of profit from it.
I can't argue this to other people since it always depends on their own choices because both have their pros and cons. I actually like gold to be as a safe haven but just like I said they both have pros and cons that's why I am more into Bitcoin than gold. The usefulness of both are depending on the situation just like these days when we have pandemic cryptocurrency is quite useful for sending money to anyone anytime.

But are those people really using bitcoin? Are we all using crypto currency during this pandemic to avoid the contamination of this virus? I don't know about your countries but in ours, people aren't. As the government gives in aids(fiats) to their citizens because of the pandemic, the more they use fiat since it is also the fastest way for them to buy their needs in this pandemic.
1151  Economy / Economics / Re: Get ready for more tax. Save your BTC! on: May 01, 2020, 01:17:38 PM
That means more rally and more resistance with the current government so I think that would not happen. The government is not deaf to the people's shouts and banners so I think they would create new policies masking these kinds of taxes so they could implement it without the people knowing. They don't have a choice since if they really wanted to get their economies back to the normal run, they would do that.
1152  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining: Halving will destroy the half of us. on: May 01, 2020, 12:26:41 AM
Well, if they really wanted to get on that ride, they should really think of that. As halving happens, the difficulty also rises and that also means that those small miners will be having a hard time getting a profit if the price did not increase, but what if the price did? We don't know what might happen but if the price did, I guess that would be for the better not just for the investors but also for the miners especially to small miners.
1153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is your favorite gambling game? on: April 30, 2020, 11:45:58 PM
I go with the Lottery and Dice games. It is one of those games that you don't really need skill but the thing here is that these are the games that I usually play on the list, I don't usually other games except if it is these two. I also do card games but I don't do much poker and blackjack, more often it is a bet on a cockfight.
1154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the safest crypto online games to start if you are a Newbie? on: April 30, 2020, 11:02:28 PM
I think I could recommend him to a game that he should know. Right now I am not gambling and I am not forcing myself to but if that urge comes back, I'll just open a mobile application I downloaded where I can play online with players. You are not betting your money but the currency in the game and lose nothing but your time and still have fun. I think some would start with that.
1155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: April 30, 2020, 10:45:22 PM
To be honest, it is not that easy. I've been through a lot and with years and years of trying, I am still not that perfectly cured of addiction. I am still gambling and even though I have those times that I can still control myself, there are still those times that I can't. My will is not that strong, luckily this ECQ held myself from gambling continuously as I can understand myself much more.
Well, I guess that's the life of a gambler. We nonlonger eradicate it within ourselves totally because it is already flowing into our veins. There's no turning back for us since the first time we got the sweet taste of winning. I believe that our body will com to the point that it will seek the rush and excitement we feel there. I guess the least thing we can do is to minimize it (salute to you mate Smiley) as much as we could.

Thanks for that, but you know, I never think of winning, that feeling of excitement as you are betting your money, no. There is just your mind that would always tell you to gamble, that there is a lot of things for you to do but you will always think of gambling. That is not the reason I gamble it is just that it is like a part of your day, without it, that day is not complete. There are even those times that if I can't gamble, I lose my temper. I am really thankful for this lockdown though, I hate it but I am also thankful since it is the reason I contained myself from gambling.

1157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Become Negative in Value? on: April 29, 2020, 11:59:12 PM
It is unlikely that this will happen, there are no prerequisites for this. This can happen if only everyone stops investing in bitcoin.

That's the thing! No one will ever stop people from investing in this crypto currency. It is one of the best investments you can have right now, and if you have it earlier, the better. If there will be some way for people to stop investing in bitcoin, then we can talk about this but even though there are a lot of scams, dumps, and hacks that are happening, people are still using it since they know that in the near future, it will give them a good profit.
1158  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Taxation on: April 29, 2020, 11:41:50 PM
it is very good if crypto currencies are given government tax, but if they do it in a situation like this, I think they are wrong,
taxes will make life difficult for people who only work with little capital in crypto currencies. maybe after the COVID19 pandemic ends, taxes may be imposed

I want to help my country so I also pay tax. The thing about this is that it is bitcoin and the fact that we are using it is because we are free from the hands of the government so, with it, we can do whatever we wanted from it. I don't mind paying taxes for my bitcoins but if that is the case I don't think people would be honest with their holdings at all just like most of the taxpayers of the world. I hope though that this will not go in this state since I want something where I can earn and it is free of tax.
1159  Economy / Economics / Re: Corona has killed economy of many businesses on: April 29, 2020, 10:58:43 PM
so far, this virus not only killed people in my country but also several people were kicked out of their jobs because of this pandemic. however, until now there has been no vaccine that can actually block this virus. Well, based on what I know, to get the medicine, it takes a long time to test the drug activity.

I don't understand why would they be kicked out of their jobs. Here in our country, obviously there are a lot of people that have no jobs or works but that doesn't mean that they are kicked out of their jobs too. They are not working because most of them are working in places that are banned right now. The worse here are those people which are included in no work no pay jobs.
1160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Gambling Life During Quarantine on: April 29, 2020, 01:08:53 PM
-how's it going when it goes to your daily life?

Not that easy. Despite the works that need to be done, it is still boring if you are more than a month inside 4 walls. The quarantine is not that bad here in our place so it is not that hard to get out of the house but still, you need to follow precautions.

-how's it going when it comes to your social life?

Nothing really changed. Still talking with my friends, asking them hows the quarantine in their side.

-how's it going when it comes to your gambling life?

I could say that it is getting better. Not because I am winning or anything like it but I could say that I am now following what I should follow in the past years. I can stop myself from being tempted to gamble or bet since I have a lot of bondings with my family. I am more focussed on what can I do right now rather than what I can bet now.
