1221  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcoin Pizza Day - Why old members are no longer active here on: May 23, 2018, 10:34:17 PM
Why everyone blamed spammers.Rather than blaming others ,does anybody try to personally approach to them.
Why would anyone in their right mind approach spammers? Spammers aren't the only reason why old members left this place:
Being fair, I think the exodus of talent happened before the spammers moved in.  It was more related to the overall attitude of members here fostering negativity.  It became clear the goal of the average member was not to help or learn from the Bitcoin community any longer.

Most people that are rich will not waste their time on an online forum.  I'm sure there are some outliers but they could be traveling the world doing funner things.
This place is more than an online forum for some people. Of course, marinecoin shills like you wouldn't be knowing that. Undecided
1222  Other / Meta / Re: Another initiative for newbie and junior members. on: May 23, 2018, 08:51:40 PM
The harsh truth is the majority of users on this forum will never rank up.  I've seen some really great posters that still have yet to receive any merit.  Many high levels basically have the attitude " fuck you I got mine" , then a lot of high rankers just trade merit back and forth.
Says a marinecoin shill.
Like actmyname said,it won't work out that well, but you can try helping those who want help. Although,,bill tried to review posters without any incentive,he didn't get much attention due to lack of any incentive  Undecided . Have a look: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3771870.msg37146114#msg37146114
1223  Other / Meta / Re: theymos, why are trust/merit pages not available to guests? on: May 23, 2018, 08:21:54 PM
They don't need to understand how it works exactly, all they need to see is a red warning to be extra careful with that user.
Red warnings are sometimes useless when people like digaran are tagged. Tongue
Anyhow, theymos has decided not to show trust summaries to guest, which seems to be the best option. If people do get scammed, they have got themselves and their laziness to blame. (Says another lazy person. Undecided)
1224  Other / Meta / Re: Share your thoughts : sMerit Review, Rank-Up Challenge, Signatureless Campaign on: May 22, 2018, 03:06:27 PM
In my opinion, "sMerit Post-Review" could be placed in META since the topic is all about the forum itself. But it is more appropriate to be placed in SERVICES since it provide review for a quality post and award the poster. I have a thread in services which awards merit to those user that can decode a given puzzle and name it Bitcoin Forum Puzzle. I can't imagine a topic that started last January 25 were just recently moved in another board.
No it doesn't belong in meta. Meta is for forum related issues. sMerit reviews are not forum related issues. They are for its users. Hence it belongs in off-topic/beginners and help.

And threads in services should only be related to services offered by members involving bitcoin payment.
1225  Other / Meta / Re: theymos, why are trust/merit pages not available to guests? on: May 21, 2018, 11:39:45 PM
I do think that they should be available, but new users would find the trust/merit system not very helpful. They would need to know how these systems function. Hell even 50%,no scratch that,85-90% of the users don't know how the trust system works. Guests won't be knowing anything about the DT members, and for all they would be knowing is one random person's word against the other. Registering in this forum doesn't take that long. If people want to trade or need to know anything about bitcointalk, they better register than just staying guest.
1226  Other / Meta / Re: merit system sucks on: May 21, 2018, 11:34:22 PM
No you suck.
Edit : OP lock the thread man. This isn't leading you anywhere.
1227  Other / Meta / Re: Why was this post deleted? on: May 21, 2018, 10:04:02 PM
the first thread has been locked and no one can longer post there.  Correct me if I'm wrong but This forum is also for altcoins as well  Ethereum , Dogecoin Deeponion, etc are allowed to have posters everywhere.
I said this is bitcoin forum in reference to what you said: "The original community coin mtc." That is a lie. Deeponion is shit.
the first thread has been locked and no one can longer post there.  Correct me if I'm wrong but This forum is also for altcoins as well  Ethereum , Dogecoin Deeponion, etc are allowed to have posters everywhere.
Yeah no. They don't allegedly pay users to bump your ANN threads and spread unwanted lies about other cryptos. The threads have been locked because newbies spam there to keep the ANN thread on top. This is against the rules. So don't expect bitcointalk and its staff to co-operate with you when you can't even follow the rules.

Alternative,like I said:
This is a bitcoin forum. If you can't respect that, create a mtc forum and do your shit there. Not here.
1228  Other / Meta / Re: Why was this post deleted? on: May 21, 2018, 09:54:30 PM
Why are there so many ANN threads about marinecoin? The official one is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=879880.0
A fake one(?): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2971179.0

Also ,marinecoin has allegedly paid people to post in their ann threads and everywhere by spreading unwanted noise.

What does bitcointalk have against marinecoin?  I created a thread for the original community coin mtc but now mods are deleting my posts???  If anyone has any concerns or questions about mtc I'm more then glad to answer them.  the pciture is not photoshopped or anything, its legitimate.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4096049.msg38082669#msg38082669
This is a bitcoin forum. If you can't respect that, create a mtc forum and do your shit there. Not here. I am surprised the thread hasn't been thrashed yet.
1229  Other / Meta / Re: xtraelv and Lafu: Merit abusing or not? (Forum issue - Discussion needed) on: May 20, 2018, 02:52:50 PM
On the other hand--and I've said this before--you might look at my merit history and think that I'm buying merits from pugman, TMAN, and Foxpup, since they've left some for me multiple times.  That's not the case, however.  We frequent many of the same threads and apparently they just like my posts.  And I've left merits for them and others numerous times, which could look suspicious.  And while I can scream it from the hills that there's nothing nefarious going on, there's no proof that there's not.
Really? You sure it is me? I haven't sent you even a merit! Lol. That's a surprise for me too because you're one of the best posters on bitcointalk!  Sad
But not anymore! It would be a shame for me if I am applying for a merit source and not meriting you. So let's begin with that. We are alts now.  Roll Eyes
1230  Other / Meta / Re: Application for a merit source on: May 20, 2018, 01:11:53 PM
That's odd I just tried quoting that post deleting the /list and then doing a preview and it stuck another /list at the end of the post for me as well.
Exactly! This is the first time I am seeing something strange like this happening...  Huh
Edit :
Snip
I had inserted two list tags, I removed it and now it's all good. Thanks Eddie!

1232  Other / Archival / Re: Abuse of power by suchmoon, who is responsible for him to be on DT? on: May 18, 2018, 11:25:05 PM
The newbie loan scam is not a new user trying to get a loan, it is someone familiar with the forum trying to get a new loan with a brand new account, that will not result in him being held accountable when he fails to repay said loan.
Probably Totally yes. But let's not get off-topic here,I am really getting into that.
Fun fact: digaran has now decided to offer campaign management services. I am still waiting for digaran to answer my question:
Its not anyone else's fault if you can't prove or even seem to others as a trustworthy person.
How are you even going to get a single client, when you don't even know what you're doing?
Trying to offer different types of services after acting annoyingly weird is totally cool,or is it?
1233  Other / Archival / Re: Abuse of power by suchmoon, who is responsible for him to be on DT? on: May 18, 2018, 11:14:46 PM
The OP has more than 2 posts and is not a newbie.
That is the worst part. Newbies are stupid. this guy is a fucking retard. Suchmoon has been telling explicitly why he tagged digaran and he keeps spreading lies. He just ignores the facts like every other person who gets tagged here.
1234  Other / Meta / Re: Smart copypasters, what to do with them? on: May 18, 2018, 11:11:39 PM
Its easy to find out whether a post is plagiarized or not, either by searching up in google or using a plagiarism checker: https://edubirdie.com/plagiarism-checker
There are much worse smart copy-pasters than this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2838860.msg29122123#msg29122123
1235  Economy / Reputation / Re: Abuse of DT power by The Pharmacist ! on: May 18, 2018, 11:00:23 PM
If you really have only one account(doesn't matter if you have more unless you're abusing the same campaign which is what you're accused of),try proving why you sent tokens to the other user, screenshots would help. You can't be that dumb to just send tokens to a random person if that account is really not controlled by you.
1236  Economy / Reputation / Re: Lesson learned! on: May 18, 2018, 10:55:00 PM
Worse thing is, you will totally banned in this forum.
Only if you break the rules. You don't get negative trust for breaking forum rules(in most cases, even though feedbacks are given at the user's discretion).

I am sorry but what lesson are you learning here? People shouldn't be scared of negative trust if they are here for discussing stuff about bitcoin.
1237  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Gate.io btc transaction without tx id, but btc is gone... on: May 18, 2018, 10:16:21 PM
Did you try checking your deposit address on blockchain, whether or not the money has left the address or not? (if that's possible)
Your bitcoins are not lost. It might take more than a while for you to get your money back but don't lose your patience. Wait for one whole month for them to reply. Then harass them on social media like previously suggested and then sue them. A few screenshots might help your case.
1238  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance phishing email on: May 18, 2018, 10:12:34 PM
Did you use the same email somewhere else too? It could be easier to find out which one turned out to be a fraud, if you list them out. Did you run a malware scan for the download link?

Worst part is that a lot of the online crypto services have a totally different link for their service and a totally different link for their support. So users get easily misleaded of necessary protective actions aren't taken up by an individual.
1239  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Coinpayments robbed on: May 18, 2018, 10:06:39 PM
Coin payments should be help responsible for this, if you have done everything right. Open a scam accusation, post up enough proof, otherwise it's just your word against theirs.
Do contact their support before accusing them of anything.
1240  Other / Meta / Re: Can someone please explain to me why some users become legendary rank ? on: May 18, 2018, 09:30:26 PM
OP man, if you can prove me why you want to be a full member, other than for you to shitpost for bounty /dig campaigns, I'll give you 5 whole merits. I dare you.
Being a full member is very important, I understand that my posts will get more attention if I have a good rank.
This is bull shit and I don't buy it.
