1221  Economy / Economics / Our country was called Province of China. on: August 20, 2020, 05:52:39 PM

News is that the beauty company of China listed the Philippines as one of its provinces (see picture above), which is a major disrespect and insult to us. After China has claimed some of our islands even we won at the international court Undecided, news that we are a province of China is spreading around our country. This post should be a warning to those countries that have debts in China because it could happen to your country as well.

The Chinese money trap really works, and they're already winning in the economic war, that's exactly what China is doing right now. They are taking advantage of those third world countries that want to grow their economies, and after many years of development, the country will be in huge debt due to crisis and corrupt people. Most countries have already lost portions of their homes and have already trampled on the rights and sovereignty of other developed nations.

In the beginning, China knew those countries that borrow money from them would not be able to pay them on the due date, so, in return, natural resources such as oil, gas, or even an island would be offered to pay those debts. I still believe that we Filipinos can manage to build our economy without relying on others, we just need the right people who can handle and control it perfectly for massive development. We are already aware of how does a money trap works but there are still countries that are falling for it, that's how dangerous it is.

This is where it starts and soon, we will see more products from China that labels the Philippines as a Province of China.
1222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which website do you usually go to get your news and casino reviews? on: August 20, 2020, 04:46:19 PM

OP is the only person I know who would go to the casino review site first, read reviews, and then join the casino to bet.

Over the years of signing up and getting out, most of the online casino players just shoot to ask questions in the forum which is a better casino and simply trusts the user's reply as to which one is better. A casino with scam accusations is often scratch out of the list.
Besides it doesn't really make a lot of sense to look for casino reviews over the Internet when we know that review sites have the tendency to accept money to give a good review and the moment that happens that review site becomes completely useless as it has betrayed its own reason to exist, if people want to find out if a cryptocurrency casino is any good or not then they need to come to this forum and read real reviews by real people that are not being paid by casinos.

Exactly what it is. Those review sites are even trying to earn through the referral link apart from the fee provided by the casino that demanded positive reviews to their review site.

If they saw in their feed about a bitcoin casino, just try googling them and maybe append bitcointalk on google search like "casineos.com bitcointalk"  because if you find numerous accusation thread about the casino and sees they are not resolved, you'd best look for another because that accusation is likley real especially if it does have screenshot evidence.
Yeah, most of the threads are absolutely well-moderated and you can find a lot of reviews here in bitcointalk on every gambling platforms.

Another is to look also in reddit, there's a plenty discussion there about gambling platforms and cryptocurrency, those who got a lot of upvotes will serve as assurance that the review or content is legit.

Most of the news/review platforms are paid so it's not 100% safe to rely on such platforms that accept money just to give good review.  Wink
1223  Economy / Economics / Re: Some chinese guy bought most expensive face mask in the world $1.5 million. on: August 20, 2020, 04:15:23 PM
If rich people are wasting their money, then someone will get benefited from that wasted money. If the stored it rather than wasting then that will be more harmful to the economy.
But, yes you can question their morality, that they can help directly to the poor people rather than spending it on expensive products.
And besides, it's their country where the COVID-19 started so it's fine that he help someone if that his/her true intention but I doubt it. Who will buy a face mask that cost too much? What's the purpose of buying something like this? Does it really help people? partially yes.

Instead of spending those $1.5 million into an expensive, it should've been donated to the organization that helps fight the pandemic. Sometimes, in some situations like this, it shows that rich people are really stupid.
1224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How fair is Provably Fair? Do you verify every bet as a gambler? on: August 20, 2020, 03:22:40 PM
Verifying the bets will give you awareness and idea on the platform you are betting with so as a gambler, you must do things like this to be aware of your bets and secure your earnings.

But most of us don't do this kind of things, they'll just bet and leave the platform without observing how it works because they thought it'll be a waste of time.
As a gambler, I am having a difficulty in verifying the fairness of every website that I was able to play even if they are giving an instruction on how we will be
able to check the fairness in their platform.

And I am wondering also if the script that they are giving can be altered easily just to cheat the players and they are just displaying the script just to say that they
are fair. And with regards to client and server seed, I am very poor about it even if you are giving a good example to it.

For a reputable gambling website, they won't cheat to their member or they will lose their members if somehow, their members know about that. That gambling site will tell that they are fair enough to their members, and even, they can invite people to try to test their script to know if they are fair or not. I never think about fair or not because I don't play gambling as other people. And for me, as long as I can play without any problem, that will be fair.
How can we say that even a reputable gambling website won't cheat its users? we don't know because the system isn't transparent. So definitely, there are part of this that cheating really occurs sometimes on reputable or non-reputable platforms and we aren't aware of that.
1225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A site for projects related to crypto. on: August 20, 2020, 02:59:09 PM
It seems a good idea but how can you utilize all of those projects that are related to crypto because for sure some are just faking it and aren't really a credible software to use.
I'm suggesting to create some Facebook page or Twitter account about your idea first and gather some audience there, so you will see if any person is interested in that kind of idea, I'm sure many people go through different sites like that. But if you gather some audience in social media you can advertise your site there and get some decent traffic on your site. and as long as your content is interesting you can gather traffic to your site.

It's not enough to post a content or other stuff on social media sites(but its a good start) he need to do a proper marketing and use some funds for this to gather more people to indulge his project. And also I suggest to advertise here via forum advertisement and bid on theymos thread since might he will get a big audience and those are legit crypto enthusiast persons.
Agree, social media like Facebook or Twitter isn't a good social platform to ask about cryptocurrency because people there don't know too much about it.

If he will make a website like that, he needs to advertise and spent a lot of money or unless he does his own research and put those projects on the platform manually.
1226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scam victims on: August 20, 2020, 02:34:25 PM
So basically, you are sending more money to the scammers who scammed your money but they are still demanding more and you're still sending more money to them without having a second thought on why you are sending more even though they are obviously trying to just keep it.

The best approach that you could do is to report it to the authority. Nothing else you could do there.
authority? can you please tell me what authority is in charge of crypto crime. because this really helps a lot of people who experience the same thing in crypto, so I think you can explain everything here. please your review is very helpful
It depends on what country you are in. But if you're trying to know if there's one, yes there are many authorities that are in charge of cryptocurrency crimes. In our country, SEC or Securities and Exchange Commission who handles ponzi and scam platforms that operate in our countries.

You can report a platform so they will prohibit the operation of the website but you will not recover your loss because it's in the blockchain.
1227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do scams harm Bitcoin's reputation in the mainstream world? on: August 15, 2020, 12:41:57 AM
Absolutely yes! In my experience of sharing my knowledge about cryptocurrency, it's very difficult to share those if the listeners don't want to believe me because of those bad impressions of bitcoin. There's a lot of Ponzi and scam platform that uses bitcoin to their platform just to scam people and it's not good for bitcoin.

I'm lucky enough that I learned a lot here in the forum and I didn't grow up of having a bad impression towards bitcoin because of misuse of it such as payment for illegal transactions of drugs, guns and many more. Also, people who are techy enough are having seminars around every university so they can explain how does cryptocurrency works.

So obviously, scams really hurt the reputation of Bitcoin and it also hurts the reputation of those organization who believe and uses cryptocurrency.
1228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are back with another trick. Be alert!!! on: August 15, 2020, 12:15:05 AM
Using the name of a news company? super shady, I wonder how many people are still falling for that beginner level scam?

I've seen this kind of scam already in a lot of social media platforms so I hope people won't get baited on this.

Everyone is just trying to make something even if it’s illegal. I do not just understand why people refuse to work hard and rather depend on unacceptable ways of making money. Let’s all be vigilant and we will won’t fall for these tricksters.
It's because scamming people is easier than having a real job. Also, you don't need to invest a lot, you just need the internet and make a video, that's all and ready to scam people.
1229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best welcome offer for you? on: August 14, 2020, 11:50:10 PM
Of course bonuses are legit if it is from the legit casinos but it is worth to bet with that amount then I guess it is not, we can't make much with that bet and most of the time we will lose more bets than our wins.
You say that it is worth it to bet then you are guessing that it is not?

You are contradicting your own words.
I meant its useful for the test purpose but we can't make better rewards while placing with such small amounts. And also when we bet in a streak the losses will be more than our bets in general so basically the sites will take back their rewards as their profits in no time.
Yes, for test purposes, it's ok to try it and you won't mind if you lose or win.

If you are in a losing streak, yes that means you are losing more. And as we know, casinos do earn from our losses.
If you lose 3-5 games already you better rest and stop playing for a while because it is a sign of losing streak and losing streak is bad because you are wasting your money. You better rest or stop for atleast a couple of hours or a day in order for you to regain your luck and your energy.
Continuing a game in a situation of losing streak will just another lose on your streak so I'll agree on you that we should rest after losing a lot and try again tomorrow. There's a lot of time for gambling, you shouldn't be hasty on spending a lot in just 1 day.

If you lose a lot, try your luck the next day until you win but if you lose a lot of money then maybe it's a sign to stop in gambling now.

It's similar to competitive games, if you're having a losing streak, maybe it's because you can't think well and you get distracted because of the losing streak you're having. Do not pursue things that will make your situation worst so be careful on your actions.
1230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You have to prove that you can take the loss on: August 14, 2020, 11:32:24 PM
Most old-time gamblers are good at controlling and faking their emotion I don't think it will be an issue at all it's the newbies that will have a hard time proving if they can take a loss, because while you are learning how to gamble you'll also become good at concealing your real emotion
so it will be no problem for old gamblers.

I agree, the more experience you have with gambling the better you can handle your emotions. I have been gambling for a long time in physical casinos but only with a small bankroll, I got used to having bad beats where the luck just runs against you. It's always great to gamble in a biggger group so you see all kind of reactions.

In the end these kind of protections are mostly for the new gamblers, I think the chances of becoming hooked on gambling is especially high when you are new to all the games.
It's true because sometimes you do not worry about that money that you lost, if you lost it's fine because it's just a game at the end of the day. You don't need to get anger on a gambling game, it'll just stress you out and will just ruin your mindset on playing the game.

The first game of gambling is just like sipping the first alcohol of emotions, you'll not know to do but once you can handle things and overridden, it means that you have a lot of experience on gambling.

I've read a lot about the relationship between gambling and emotion, try to read more here: https://www.gamblingsites.com/blog/weird-relationship-between-gambling-emotion/
1231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it worth paying to advertise your ref link? on: August 14, 2020, 10:37:06 PM
Referral is proftiable only for the people who already got huge influence in the social media like Youtube and Instagram but for someone who is very common its not really worth, it may take years to make penny using referrals so better create your audience on any social media and then work on referral marketing to be successful.
Well, same thought, if he got a lot of influence he will get a lot of profit on that referral link. Even though there's no assurance, I can tell that it will be worth it and will give you more profit.

The more audience you will have on the network, the more profit will into you because of advertisememt.
1232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fortnite Betting? on: August 14, 2020, 09:16:44 PM
Due to the pandemic that we currently have now I think one of the sports should be included in a sports betting site is eSports I'm familiar with the games Dota 2, CSGO, LOL, etc. but fortnite is something new I don't actually watch tournaments of a battle royal but I think this will be pretty interesting to see the team on where you place your bet to survive from other players.
Dota2 and CSGO are already in different betting platform so I guess fornite betting wants to have a unique and originality in their betting platform so they come up to the original plan on having the kinds of sports they had for betting. And we should not underestimate the sports they chose for betting because they had too vast fans and gamblers willing to bet in their platform. Pretty sure they can get huge on it as it seems that for now they had no competition with the sports they chose for betting.

Agree with you about respecting the game, fortnite has a lot of fans around the world and I think it can still do well in betting whether the graphics is good or not, or even thought its hard to bet about the winner cause it ain't like CS GO or Dota 2. I believe that it still has its audience. However, if we are talking about olympics here, I may see fornite as a good game but I still don't see it as game for the olympics, just an opinion.
If a game like chess is considered as worthy to join the olympics, I don't see why video games could not do the same. The only problem I see with video games is that Chess is an "intemporal" game. It hasn't changed for decades, while video games are always changing. So does it make sense to add video games, when we know that the games played today will not be the same as in 2 years and/or that players good at one game might be bad at others, etc ? I don't know, but it could be interesting to try.
Chess can also change in terms of rules but it is very rare. While a game who's been played for many hours are always changing to build up another strategy for defeating the enemy. Having a patch notes is the ways for avoiding the game being dead. Because online games aren't unique, they can be replaced by another game with the same concept whild Chess is the original, it will still exist because it's the origin of strategical games.
1233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chess on Sports/eSports betting on: August 14, 2020, 08:54:48 PM
Standard chess are more preferable and still amusing to watch in streams.

i'm agree with you. Those graphic are to fancy and it will not help to intrigue people who don't like chess or such types of game (football watchers and so on). Excess thing with no use.

But for example, holo chess (augmented reality) or some not big effects (like neon light) can create better and more interesting atmosphere to the game and stream.
Also, most of the gamblers are old people who will not attracted to game designs like this. They will also prefer the standard that is easy to understand.

Of course, extraordinary designs and feature will attract some and definitely good for streaming. But if we're talking about making the game more attracrive to the gambling industry, features like this aren't really necessary.
1234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chess on Sports/eSports betting on: August 14, 2020, 08:33:54 PM
Its probably because modern games are much exciting because you get to see cool avatars, weapon, items. And its very flashy with the animations and effects. It really takes away your mind from reality. Perhaps, more people are switching to online simulation games than old games, i guess chess also needs to somehow improve like pawn's having form of knights which engage more people to play it virtually.

Yeah they need to do that like for example the snake games on old Nokia phones. they revive it with much different updates and cool stuffs they also changed the name but most of the atmosphere was there and the rules still the same never get hit to anything or you die.

I think what you mean by improving the chess game into modern era of gaming is already happened base on this image but I haven't heard of this one till now. It has been there but has a lot of rooms to improve.

Well I guess most chess players like myself just prefer a standard game then such fancy one ;-)

Interesting.
I guess this(the last image) is close to what regular chess game is about? I wonder if all  chess players are aware of this or just play like kids would innocently play some kinds of games that look harmless/safe but have lots of deep bad meaning.   Hope it's not the case with chess.
Interesting to watch but for me I still prefer the classic which has no fancy graphic designs like that. The animation and effects will just make the game complucated. Instead of focusing on the game, those add ons will definitely distract you because we used to play in the classic settings.

Standard chess are more preferable and still amusing to watch in streams.
1235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What makes a good bettor? on: August 14, 2020, 08:10:51 PM
What I believe if a person wants to start betting then he must have knowledge about that specific game first. Secondly he must know when to stop so he must not end up with nothing and losing all money. He must fix a amount that he will not bet more then that no matter he wins or lose.
And the most important part he must not get greedy.

TEX-LXRY
Those knowledge are common, obviously, you need those to play those games because how can you play if you don't know how to play. A good bettor is probably a calm and casual gambler, of course, you need to think well to be a good better and the important thing is not being a greedy person.

Greed will make you lose all of your income because your mindset is to gain more even at all costs, in that way, you will lose a lot and that isn't considered as a good bettor.
1236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Gambling idea - How it can be "patented"? on: August 14, 2020, 07:51:37 PM
I keep searching online but it looks like they have different scenarios and answers depending on the country where they live. And I believe that this couldn't be enough to enlighten your mind but seeking more info and answers.

Visiting the patent office at your place is the only solution for this and probably they will help you to make your curiosity become real. And I don't think it is an easy thing to do to accomplish, yet a hard stance might possible. This could also a reason why most games are just a copy from the others because it is hard to make gambling games become patented.
He doesn't need to visit the patent office just to give solution to his problem.

There's a website on patents which is the WIPO or World Intellectual Property Organization, he can contact the support the answers to his question, they're responsive.
The requirements and steps for applying patents are also in the website, just check it out.

1237  Economy / Economics / Re: Will African countries be developed? on: August 14, 2020, 06:56:20 PM
Africans have leaders who keep promising them a better tomorrow, but they never fulfill their promises, rather they even steal more from them and most of their leaders even have accounts in foreign countries like the US, the British, and other countries where they move the money they steal from those poor countries. Politicians make promises to them and when they are voted in, they still become corrupt and start the same process of looting from the country. It’s very bad.
Isn't that almost all of the leaders are just like that? They have political desires because there's a lot of benefits.
There are lots of poor people and families, adults and kids that can’t afford to feed themselves and at the end some of them resort to crime to be able to feed themselves. This is why I believe that for any country to be developed, it all depends on the leaders.
It will always depend on the leaders, look at some third world countries who have a lot of potential on growing their economy because of their minerals and natural resources but still at the bottom of the list.

Some are just pure talks, they can't even make their promises come true. I still have hopes that continents like Africa will have a massive growth in the future, they just need to wait for the right leaders.
1238  Economy / Economics / Re: Anyone here Studying Econ ? on: August 14, 2020, 06:39:55 PM
Economy? We have a specific subject about the Economy which is Engineering Economy, I don't know what the differences but probably it's almost the same.

My professor also tackled cryptocurrency and if ever he asked me to present about it, I will do present and explain it.

I gained a lot of knowledge here in the forum for almost 2-3 years and I would like to share those knowledge that I've learned.
It also makes me proud that I have a knowledge where only a few people knew about it. Even though it's kinda complex and difficult to explain, I'll try my best to make my block mates interested on cryptocurrency.
1239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is This Site Legit? on: August 14, 2020, 02:07:35 PM
Based on what I've read, 1xbit does have a lot of options to bet but the reviews are very negative. It's not even on the top sports betting platforms so I doubt that review is a paid advertisement.
1240  Economy / Economics / Re: The Coronavirus as A Means of Financial Reset on: August 14, 2020, 12:51:45 PM
I also think like you. The corona virus is thought to be an economic virus and it was born to reset the game. It sounds fictitious, but this is true, Chinese people want to create this pandemic so that the powerful European countries will lose strength and they will be more powerful when their economy comes back. earlier. This is a very dangerous game and if the governments of many countries do not solve well, it can lead to economic crisis.
It really looks like the truth. It seems to me that the emergence of the coronavirus, the possibility for it to spread, then too tough measures to combat its spread, which led to a sharp decline in economic development and the logical onset of the global economic crisis are links in one chain.
Moreover, they usually try to underestimate the number of infected and the consequences of the spread of the virus, and in this case, the opposite is true. Many doctors in my country claim that they are forced to write that people have died from coronavirus even in cases where they died from other diseases. This means that someone really needs it.
We have the same idea, it seems that the pandemic is their own weapon to destroy the economy of those big countries in the west and China wants to conquer them.

Even at this moment, where people are dying and a lot are suffering due to this virus, they still think about their financial and economic growth.
China declined WHO to inspect their country because Wuhan, China is the origin of the virus and it's very shady.
