1302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ADVICE]Boy Wins $46k from Sports Bet but Can't Tell Strict Religious Parents... on: July 29, 2023, 03:35:49 PM
probably Islam. it's the only religion i know that despises gambling so much especially if the father has strong values.
but if it's something else. they can tolerate gambling and just go on taking the money. with the current situation of the world economy and people losing jobs. it's hard to resist that $46,606.
1303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Other Things You Can Bet on Aside Sports and Casino Games on: July 26, 2023, 07:47:23 PM

not totally sports but they are listed in the events of bookmakers. every year i think there are threads that will be created for the Oscars awards just like Presidential Elections which every 4 years another will come up.

the most famous in my country is cockfighting, the government somehow makes it illegal but we're still betting it live on the arena and even online.
1304  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you consider moving abroad? on: July 24, 2023, 06:57:07 PM
As I head of family with a kid, I would consider moving abroad when I wont be able to earn and feed my family, to a country where I would be able to provide my family all necessary. I think this is all a matter of money. I am not a person that is a fan of surviving, I prefer to give myself and family comfort. Maybe also a war is the reason I would move abroad, but in all other ways, I think I wont move.

That is completely understandable mate and I share your thoughts as being the head of the family, it's never been easy specially if there are some times that we fell short to our ends meet and so the question will struck us again if it's already time to move towards a much better country so that we can provide more for our family and give them a much comfortable life because it's our duty give these things to them. And just like you, I think we can still manage even without moving to a different country.

that will also be a good reason to work abroad. leaving your family behind is just not worth though. some kids of our time are not so close to their parents and are often influenced by the wrong crowd. young kids in my country where parents are working abroad are often the ones living a good life but are also the troubled kids.

parents often regret their decision to go abroad because they don't have a close relationship with their kids.
1305  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The moral side of the grain deal on: July 24, 2023, 05:35:04 PM
what was agreed as far as i know was that they are to be allowed to export Ukraine and Russian grains. but the rest of EU blocks it because they only want Ukraine grains. but this is not what they were trying to deal with so the deal is off as they primarily agreed to allow Russian's grain as well.

i bet that information was not reported as well in the media. but says Russia wants the rest of the world to go hungry
1306  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is politics everyone's business? on: July 23, 2023, 05:45:33 AM
It is inseparable from everyday life, politics has become part of the journey of life. Politics is a way of getting something, every citizen must learn political science so that they are not mistaken in interpreting it.

If politics is only as simple as elections, it will always be self-defeating because of it. Awareness is needed to advance the country consciously in politics, so that no one is harmed.

like its said, politics is everyone's business, you gotta know who your friends are because you never know, they do have enemies that will also be your enemies by just being affiliated with your friends.  you can compare this to countries in which you will need to take sides because not taking sides may mean you are an enemy.

corporate politics is the worse. the workplace is not a good place to play around with politics but its does happen all the time.
1307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers Belief on: July 23, 2023, 05:27:10 AM
gamblers are happier when they gamble and also hopeful to win. if they lose, they will still have hope that they'd win the next time they bet. you can't put good gamblers down.
even the gamblers who already lost everything, you can see them they are still laughing at their mistakes. i think the only gamblers who are already lost hope are the ones who successfully committed suicide.
1308  Economy / Economics / Re: What are some financial secrets that you know of? on: July 21, 2023, 07:26:06 PM

the secret is .....shhhh buy BTC sell it later when its profitable.
there are several financial secrets that i think many crypto investors are doing like staking of course its not a secret everyone knows it but it just need a lot of money to be able to participate on staking. so this is your way if you wanna make money one day.

for those who are new in crypto, these are not known to them especially casino tokens and yield farming.

1309  Other / Off-topic / Re: Malware, security and protection on: July 21, 2023, 07:18:53 PM

i use to download just about anything from movies to music files from torrent sharing files. malware and virus is often what made my computer crazy the next day. popups don't stop popping that it lags my computer in the process. its always going to happen if you download files.

one thing that solves it all. Linux. i ever get to have problems with viruses, worms and anything after installing a linux system.
1310  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: July 20, 2023, 06:37:04 PM
It seems like every morning I wake up and read more terrible news about this war. Today it’s Ukraine’s ports being bombed. There are videos surfacing of captured Ukrainian troops saying they were threatened with jail if they didn’t fight. I don’t know how much longer we’re expected to pay for this horrible proxy war, but I for one don’t think Ukrainians should be forced to fight in it or face jail.

well, it's not up to them anymore. if they don't fight, they'd be considered a deserter.  i saw a video of a Ukrainian running toward Russian troops, he was congratulated because the war is over for him.

the proxy war's end game is not to win but just to prolong this war and seems no one ever asks they send a ton of money from the taxes of the people yet they are not winning. it's always too late when one realizes something.

1311  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Gmail Closing?? on: July 19, 2023, 07:24:01 PM

so there is actually something that will disappear online like the google pics. if the owner of the gmail account was dead already and have not touched the email account then google can delete them all including the linked accounts such as youtube?

they lose the competition. facebook wins. creating an account on facebook doesn't require email anymore but a phone number.
1312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Farmer's Bitcoin Investment on: July 19, 2023, 07:08:45 PM
farmers might wanna sell their crops for BTC which will help the adoption of BTC as well. if I were a farmer that's what I would do too. going to the farmer's market and displaying just the BTC QRcode for the payment right in front of the pumpkin stand.

money in the banana stand was so yesterday. we can by then say Bitcoin in the Farmer's market.

1314  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ukraine in freefall. on: July 18, 2023, 05:14:25 PM
I am finding extreme difficulties in following your logic.Ukraine gained independence on 1991 if I am not mistaken on promises to destroy all nuclear armament which they did to honor the deal brokered exactly by Russia,Boris Yeltsin back then.Since then Ukraine is a free country and is free to join NATO or do whatever they like in their territory without asking permission from anyone be that a neighbor like Russia who demanded that they stay out of joining NATO.

Russia wagered a war to annex parts of Ukraine and this is starting a war,Ukraine was at peace,it is the aggressor in this case Russia who put them to war and I agree with Zelenksy,no one tells me what to do in my own home.

if that is your logic, then can Cuba join a military alliance with Russia?
Cuba is also an independent country.  the map is the key and strategic location of Cuba. NATO will object.

Cuba is free to do whatever they like, joining a military alliance with Russia as long as they want it,NATO won't object as NATO is strong enough to not give a damn even if Russia,China,Iran and all Middle East become together as a military alliance,so no NATO will not object. That is the huge difference in mentality from a western person and some person who has been hearing the Russian imperial fantasies long enough and cannot distinguish the reality, they only know one reality, the one inflicted to them by their country propaganda. It is as easy as that,no country should invade an independent country and each country should have the road they think suit them best.

thats a very naive thought. Its like saying Taiwan is free. If Taiwan is free, US will need not to keep shouting for its independence because China will always interfere what Taiwan would do.
If Taiwan is Free, they would have put us a US military base there already.

as is with Cuba. US will not allow Russia/Chinese Military base there otherwise a very tiny missile can reach the US territory. before Cuba can even militarize itself, they'd be sanctioned a hundred times.

Cuba would never be sanctioned. Why not? There are too many wealthy elites who vacation there. They would never allow it.

Cool

ah yes. despite hearing strange debilitating sound that causes the havana syndrome.

i read some of these kids tried to injure themselves by inflicting broken leg to escape conscription. going that length so they could stay alive seems a smarter thing to do than going to the frontline.

going back to the peace talk table is more strategic for them. Spokesperson Matthew Miller says it all. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3dokh57y2M

Going back to peace talk after the atrocities in Bucha,Irpin and Kharkiv? That is absolutely out of question,Ukraine would rather burn down every man and that would be the correct choice, when some invader invades you,you have to defend your country and it is not only in Ukraine, almost everywhere is a fight for the motherland,or fatherland depending on how you call it.

These news are lame attempts to bash on the Ukrainian army however it won't work,Ukrainians are showing us that they are extremely united and even the worse forms of terrorism which Russia has been using systemically there won't work,Ukraine will win no matter what as they are in their right,in their independent territories which they will liberate.

what do you mean they are at war both of them are defending their own. Ukraine just planned a counter offensive but failed.

you know that if russia loses, the country will cease to exist too right?  haven't you heard of yugoslavia that was already gone?

Either way it is going to cease to exist by judging the events happening there. They are not both at war,Ukraine was an independent country that was attacked out of nowhere, how can you call this normal thing to do?They are not winning anything, they are losing every day, their economy is on their knees, 1 RUB equals  to 0.01 Euro cent the lowest in many months and it is normal when you are wagering war so they have nothing to be proud from what they are doing and have done, they only kill innocent civilians the most as the atrocities in Bucha,Irpin and Kharkiv reminds all of us.

As for former Yugoslavia,I don't know the story well but from what I recall many countries in that confederation wanted independence which they got in the early 1990-s,so nothing wrong with countries wanting their own independence from a certain confederation.

you need to watch the news on both sides.
they are both at war and zelensky even dragging their war to the brink of ww3 by joining NATO. that's not normal. in fact, NATO refused him.
what's not normal to drag kids out of their houses and bring those kids to the front line and be dead.

ukr is not independent. they were about to decide to negotiate peace talks but zelensky because ukr is not independent obeys his master to stop the negotiation. he can't decide on his own. there wouldn't be more deaths if it were stopped already.  he chooses freefall.

1320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling effects on LGBTQ+ People on: July 16, 2023, 04:41:40 PM
With all the discriminations they usually get (not always maybe sometimes), it all makes sense. But for a reason, i didn't know any in my circle of friends from this community who gamble. Usually, they prefer go party, bar hopping on weekends instead of gambling or online gambling particularly.

me neither. i have few friends from LGBTQ. non of them gambles. they drink and party all the time. they prefer looking for men on dating sites and they end up mobbed for touching sensitive parts. that's their pastime activity during the night after work which i doubt this study.

the others who are not crossdressers are more into working out in fitness gyms. the ones they invest more are real properties.
