1401  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much do you care when you wear a commercial Signature? on: June 08, 2022, 11:22:15 PM
Do you research before Apply?

Do you research the platform background, or do you examine its legitimacy? I am asking this because I never played on 1xBit, and I didn't get scammed by them. Before joining their platform or signature campaign, I wouldn't know they were scammers. Not only 1xBit. What about other platforms? For example, if A new casino platform offers signature campaigns, Or an exchanger offers a signature campaign, Would you join their campaign without researching their platform? If you investigate any platform, What is the process? How do you check if they are good or bad?

This is the most important part. I always do check about the project legitimacy and its potential if they are paying in an altcoin. I do not care if it's a Stable coin payout campaign( though I prefer to join a stable coin payout campaign) or an altcoin campaign. If it's an altcoin payout campaign then I tried to make sure this project has a future.

I do care about wearing a signature because I do not mind a little earning along with some learning.
Of course, the campaign members should always consider if the project has a future in the first place, otherwise most likely this project will end up as a scam. And its hard to accept that we have been fooled around and all our efforts have gone into waste.  That is why i prefer to apply in campaigns that are managed by some of my favorite campaign managers because the issues if its legit or not is something that i don't have to deal.  And i guess, good campaigns manager will never accept projects that would ever ruin their hard earned credibility in the market.
1402  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sideways huh! on: June 08, 2022, 10:48:17 PM
Well, we can say it is going sideways currently but we don't know until when. We can only wait until the price bounces back.
If you see the weekly chart we can observe that the price has been falling every week until today.
So may be will have to wait few more weeks to see if it's really a sideways trend or not.
For now, i think the best thing to do is to observe the market if its going downward trend or the other way around. IMHO, its far seeing a bullish market this early, maybe we can witness that at the last quarter of this year. So i think the market will continue to be bearish and that bitcoin and altcoins will probably experience more bearish movements. So it's best to wait how far this market will go. Only then we can decide what to do.
1403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Price Up & Down is normal be patient All Crypto Holders on: June 08, 2022, 10:18:51 PM
Actually most of top coins will always follow Bitcoin price, so it's useless to compare the top coins price as we're only need to look on Bitcoin price to see the market is bearish or bullish.

Yeah, well said in theory but we don't know about the reality. The question is how you can know the bottom? Which person can guessing Bitcoin price will ever touch $3K at that time? Mostly those people who bought Bitcoin at $3K is DCA-ing Bitcoin.
That's probably the case. No one is patient enough to wait just to buy when the price is at its bottom, mostly they start to buy when the price is in dips. However, if they do DCA, buying at its bottom price is always possible. But it could also mean you need to prepare good amount of funds during bearish market because even if you do DCA, there will be a need of funds everytime you place a buy order.
1404  Economy / Economics / Re: Food crisis coming? What's wrong about it? It could be good on: June 08, 2022, 09:41:25 PM
Lol I can’t say I agree with anything you’ve said here. I live in a first world country, and I can tell you food inflation has been a major issue for everyone but the rich. Even if you’re wealthy middle class you’re still having to spend far more and that takes away from other important things (college savings, charitable donations, retirement savings etc). The average person spends a lot of their income on food, so not sure where you’re getting that they don’t.
I would say that all stages of social status have been greatly affected with this high inflation, not only the poorest of the poor, not only the richest of the riches, but definitely all have been suffering seeing all the food prices continue to surge. If you can save 25% of your monthly income before, this time reaching even 10% is very hard to achieve. Of course we may always want to save, but given this present food crisis, its hard for us to save first and budget your food expenses.
1405  Economy / Economics / Re: Crashes are The Best Times to Get Rich - Robert Kiyosaki on: June 08, 2022, 08:48:54 PM
Rober Kiyosaki[1], a person popular in the network marketing industry and founder of Rich Global and Rich Dad Company[2] stated that the best time to get rich is to get in during the market crash.  He stated that if the Bitcoin market continues to plunge, he is ready to get in and start buying.  His entry window is when BTC touches $20k[3]

Quote
“BITCOIN CRASHING. Great news,” he tweeted recently. “I am waiting for Bitcoin to crash to 20k. Will then wait for test of bottom which might be $17k. Once I know bottom is in I back up the truck. Crashes are the best times to get rich.”

He also states that "Bitcoin is the future of money" and thinks that the bottom of this current bull trend would be below $11k. Read more here:

Having an optimist view despite the recent Bear trend and crashes is one of the better traits traders should have.  We have known Bitcoin to have the ability to rebound and yet many had been pessimists and lots lose hope.  We should look at this bear market in a different view rather than Bitcoin being Doom and as a matter of fact, many known billionaires gain lots of profit by investing in a crashing company or stocks but have been proven to recover.

So what do you think about Kiyosaki's point of view, is it possible that "crashes are the best time to get rich"?

[3] https://finance.yahoo.com/news/crashes-best-times-rich-why-120000932.html
I have to agree with you OP. Though most of the people tends to panic whenever a sudden market crash happens, but it should not be the correct response when the market plunges. Not all realized this but the market crashes are definitely the biggest opportunities to become rich. This is the best time to fill in your portfolio with bitcoin and diversify with some solid altcoins. Once the market turns bullish, you will have the best profits ever as you are selling them at a very high and reasonable price that will instantly create a big leap in our life's economy.
1406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your opinions about fan tokens? I'm thinking to invest in them on: June 07, 2022, 11:51:05 PM
.....

whether anyone has followed, whether these tokens have any relation to the size of the fan base of a particular club? also, whether there is any connection between the value of the token and the activities of the club, new signings or the results of the competitions?
which parameter is generally crucial for the value of such tokens (except Bitcoin price of course)
You have to know the utilities of these fan tokens first before you can answer those questions. They seem to have some sort of a governance like what we see in DAO voting plus some exclusive perks. Bottom line is that the value of the token depends on how happy these fans are for their club. Everything the club do affects the fans and that may also affect the price.
Investing in different tokens are mostly associated with risks. So if you decide to invest in those fan tokens, not only the utility cases that you have to consider but also the security of those coins as i think they are mostly dependable on the outcome of what the club is into. I think it's better to invest on established coins than to risk your money in those tokens who have not yet proven their real utilities, as they can easily lose their value and might end up with the same fate of other useless tokens.
1407  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mentor experience in crypto trading. on: June 07, 2022, 09:48:34 PM
Hi guys,I have learnt a lot from my mentor in crypto trading that made me to became who I am today in the society. Do you have a mentor in crypto trading? I never know how important a mentor is to investors when I nearly lost my $300,000 few years ago, until I found a potential mentor who thought me when to sell my coins to make a good income and when not to sell not to experience losses in the market.

Who is a mentor?

A mentor is a someone who help people to achieve their common goals. Mentor never give up on helping people until they began to see a good results coming out from them. Mentor don't scam people who are trying to rise like them than to help them to stand well.

Do we still have potential mentor in crypto community today?

I love Satoshi because he was a great mentor i have never see in the whole world, for building a great family like this, that will produce future president's of different countries and senators that will make this decentralized currency fully legalized in the whole world.
Gone are those days where we can see potential mentors in the crypto community. There may be some left but mostly, mentors these days comes with a good price. You're lucky if you have one as its hard to trust these days especially that all crypto traders are mostly driven by greed. At the end of the day, you realized it's only them that make profits from you while you are certainly in loss. However, not all who have been mentored attain success. Because i believe, the only way to make you successful is by believing on one's self and be able to accept losses and then move on and improve yourself.
1408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel when the market is downtrend? on: June 07, 2022, 08:59:29 PM
How do you feel when the bear market is happening and do you hate it?. Every time a bearmarket happens, I always have valuable lessons that the bull market doesn't have. So always be grateful when the market goes down, it gives us many lessons, lessons about emotions, lessons about capital management, trust and patience.

The bear market is not the end but the beginning of a new and better start, the bear market is a measure of our confidence in the market. Worthy rewards will only come to those who truly believe in the market.
The bear market does not bring losses for us, but there's a lot of opportunities that we can experience from it. The reason why we should not hate it or condemn it because its not definitely the reason why we lose, but it's more on how we wrongly manage our investments because we always believe that bullish market is the best time to sell and even buy those coins who are on top of the market list. The way how we see our investments during bear and bull season will always affect the future of our investments knowing we can buy and sell them at the wrong season of the market. If we fall on panic selling on bear market and panic buying in the bull market, then losses will be inevitable for us.
1409  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto scam increasing on social media on: June 06, 2022, 11:44:53 PM
New analysis finds consumers reported losing more than $1 billion in #cryptocurrency to scams since 2021
Social media blamed for $1B in crypto scam losses in 2021

What has the government doing so far to regulate social media like they are regulating exchanges, despite that people that are using social media like Facebook, Instagram and many others do not have privacy, scammers and illicit actors still make use of the same social media to scam people. From just 2021 to 2022 first quarter, people have been scammed over $1 billion on social media. Federal Trade Commission (FCT) found that Instagram (32%), Facebook (26%), Whatsapp (9%), and Telegram (7%) were the top platforms used for crypto scams. Twitter, the social media platform widely adopted by the crypto-community, was not mentioned despite being littered with spam and scam bots touting fake crypto-giveaways.

The funniest to me is that scam is not new on social media, but it is becoming commoner and the scam on social media regard crypto is increasing, definitely all other scam are increasing on social media. When social media is not a place of privacy, why not require for ID documents for better KYC procedure than focusing most only on exchanges

Now that social media has become the best outlet for the people, scammers will also make use of it so they can always drive with the trend. That way, they can always disguise themselves and continue to deceive people that are on their target list. I guess the government can no longer control it anymore, so the responsibility to avoid such scamming incidents will only depend much on the people that are active in the social media. If they can be knowledgeable and learn to identify  who's legit or not, then they can possibly avoid such scamming incidents in the social media.
1410  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the golden rule of investment? on: June 06, 2022, 09:56:44 PM
I have a friend who invests in cryptocurrency like me, he is an investor hold Luna and he has also lost quite a bit because of Luna. But what's more sad is his 2 best friends. Those two are also hold a lot of Luna's and Luna's crash causes them to lose all their possessions and become insane. As he said, one person has gone through the crisis and one has not. Those two guys who invested in Luna were all from my friend's advice. He said it was he who indirectly harmed them, money can be earned, but his friend are gone.

This is a sad story that I have heard. Through this story I want everyone to know 1 golden rule in investing is: never give financial advice to anyone. By the time you give them financial advice, you may feel like you're one step ahead of them, but if that advice is wrong, you could be the one hurting them.

Sometimes, i really give financial advice when it's necessary. But i have always been honest to them and tell them that there are no easy and quick profits in the crypto market, losses and hardships must be endured first. So i make sure they understand my point so they won't expect to always see the rainbow but more on rain in their first experiences. That's also my way of not putting the blame on me whenever things have been totally bad for them.
1411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 03, 2022, 01:47:41 PM
What happened? Boston had a good comeback and beat the Warriors by 12. That was unbelievable, Celtics have really improved, they are moving the ball very well, when Tatum was struggling, his teammates were there to produce for the team, and that was just crazy, Celtics already took game 1.
Warriors are over confident here and they forget to take care of their lead, or maybe Celtics is indeed an improved team right now and becomes a better team this final. I'm surprised on the result of game 1 but the intensity of the game is still expected. Well, we might really see a game 7 here so let's continue to watch and enjoy betting, we have more chances of winning here so better to support your team now. Warriors will surely recover here, let's not doubt on them.
They've done their best, it's just that Celtics played better in the 4th quarter. The game was controlled by the Warriors actually until that huge 4th quarter run happen. Anyway, Warriors are still confident they'll win the series, they are not worried with the result, for sure they will bounce back big time in game 2, something that bettors should try to bet on.
1412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season - Finals on: June 03, 2022, 12:44:00 PM
Most of the match went head-to-head, but at the end of the match, Golden State Warriors were badly clogged. Boston won the first game by defending, attacking in the right places and playing really well, especially in the last quarter, they took the home advantage. Now Golden State has to win the second game at home and at least one away game. They made their job very difficult. They need to win the second game and recover, they don't have a choice.
The Warriors are one of the best teams in terms of closing the game, but in this one, they literally choked in the final minutes of the game, and they let the Celtics make a 17-0 run.

This is why the Celtics are a very difficult team to match-up with. Curry scored 21 points in the first quarter instead of getting pressured by it, they made an adjustment in it and just making his performance lower in the last 3 quarters. I think the Warriors really got the victory if they just didn't let the Celtics sink those threes in the final quarter because they got outscored 40 to 16 which do I think one of the worst quarters of the Warriors.

It's only Game 1 and the Warriors will make huge adjustments to their game style. I believe that they will take Game 2. Congratulations to the Celtics for stealing one game in the road and they gave the Warriors their first loss on their homecourt.

Celtics are very comfortable winning on the road, just like what they did against the Heat, when we thought that the Heat will win because they have the home court advantage, but Celtics controlled the game, and they remain composed and don't allow the heat to succeed on their 4th quarter run.

It's still one game, yes, it's not over yet but some are just disappointed, we can't blame them.
1413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: June 03, 2022, 11:50:38 AM
And now that they are in the Finals, can they defeat the Warriors though? That's what I want to find out.

We will only find out when this series is officially over.

For now, it's nice if we put some bets to enjoy while watching the game, we have game 1 tomorrow, Warriors will be hosting the Celtics, and this game 1 will give us an idea of the possible outcome of the series, so we should not miss it, let's watch and bet at the same time.

We should watch this match and honestly and enjoy. We are having the two best teams possible in the final and we will enjoy the show for sure. For me the favorites are the Warriors and i think they have an amazing chance especially because of home advantage

I enjoyed watching the first 3 quarters but I got disappointed in the 4th quarter as the Warriors are slowly melting until they cannot compete anymore  with the Celtics. That was a big comeback by the Celtics, imagine, the Celtics score 40 points while they held down the Warriors to 16 points only.

If you are a Warriors fan, you'll really be disappointed because they are not matching the intensity of the Celtics in the last quarter. The defense of the Celtics were very evident in that game, they need to prepare for that as we know that Celtics are a good 4th quarter team.

It's 3rd quarter team vs 4th quarter team, of course 4th quarter team will win as they know how to close out.

1415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 03, 2022, 09:54:51 AM
^^ Yeah, it's very unexpected that the Warriors are going to lost game 1 at their homecourt. They started good at the first quarter and some at the start of the second, but they can't sustain as the Celtics took a 2 point lead at the halftime. And I said that this doesn't look good for the Warriors. So I was not able to watch the second half and when I look at the score, there is it, not sure what happen to the 2nd half, but I will say it was an upset.

Why should be unexpected ? I mean , GSW had fragile games since now and also played weaker teams than Celtic did so it's kinda normal for GSW to not have the same pace , aggression and desire like Celtic because they haven't been properly tested until last night. I also hope that game 2 will look better for GSW but at the end of the day , Celtics deserve to win this year...because they faced and eliminate much more stronger opponents than GSW did.

It's not unexpected, though the Warriors lost game 1 on their home court, but it's not yet over. This series is a best of 7 series, and home court now does not matter a lot, anyone can win at their home court, so let's see how the Warriors would respond in game 2 as for sure they will make an adjustment to even the series before going to Boston.
1416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paid the birth fee using bitcoin at the clinic, by accident. on: June 02, 2022, 10:29:39 PM
Congratulations mate. This sounds actually amazing, though its not good to be in your position cause what if he didnt accept it right? You need to go back and find an atm to pay for it. Well actually, I was thinking if they dont accept debit card right or some sort of remmitance for easy payment. Nowadays, almost all services accepts it now for conveniency especially its a clinic.

Even in my country, majority of the clinics here are already accepting debit cards as they are good as cash basis too. But accepting bitcoin payment is more amazing than that. I just thought that it would be more convenient for us if bitcoin is highly priced this time but even so, i think this scenario is still worth it because bitcoin has saved you in such a very unforgettable moment in your life. Hopefully, there will be more doctors who will be part of bitcoin as we need them more for us to remain healthy all the time.
1417  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Importance Of early Cryptocurrency Education for Children(HAPPY CHILDREN DAY) on: June 02, 2022, 09:41:48 PM
Those scams will be recognized by our kids upon experiencing them. We may have given them the advice on how to find one and what are the signs of it. But still, there will be newer tactics that might catch them and eventually will fall for it. Starting to teach them related to finance and cryptocurrencies is opening their minds too young and they'll have the idea of how to take care of their money as soon as they grow up. As crypto/bitcoin knowledge will be fed to them, they'll have the upper hand over other kids that don't have parents who don't save and invest.
It will be an edge of them of having being taught how to save and invest in crypto, than to never taught at all. Because their experience will be a good weapon once they start facing not only the real fiat market but also crypto market as well. But i should say, investments can wait. At least that they have been taught about saving, then they are more capable on how to grow their savings by leading them into the world of investing once they have reach a matured age.
1418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bear Market Can Be A Waste Of Time or Useful Depending on How We Approach It on: June 02, 2022, 08:53:23 PM
During a bear market, almost every new project is going to fail immediately.
The funds required for the startup to begin will not be there, investors will not fill the presales, and scams will rule.
What could have a small chance to succeed, now has zero.
It takes backing from big exchanges and connections with investors for a project to succeed.

Having said that, I never stopped looking and will keep investing during the bear market appropriately.

But for anyone that considers leaving, know that this market will reward those that stayed. It is the time to educate yourselves.
I've seen even silly spammers changing their ways and realizing there is a lot more everyone can offer by changing their ways.
For now, it is the time we count losses, but also we strengthen and rise to the challenges we face.

Besides the new cryptocurrencies, from my perspective, I'd look more at cryptocurrencies that hold utility, keep developing and have a serious community.

Bear market brings a lot of great opportunities but not everyone sees its worth, as most of the newbies prefer bear market as something that create panic selling and losses on their investments. However, i believe that both bear and bull market will be susceptible to losses if you manage your investments the wrong way, but if you know how to take advantage and ride with the current bear or bull market, you will always be a gainer, than a loser because you see it the wrong way.
1419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] George Kambosos vs Devin Haney - Undisputed Lightweight Title - June 5 on: June 02, 2022, 01:48:13 PM

Odds at the moment if this fight goes the distance:

Haney 1.88  Kambosos 3.25
I haven't bet on a decision because Kambosos knockout record is underrated. His last three opponents were all former world champions and he knocked downed two of them. And I saw the e-mail champ getting hurt several times. Kambosos might stop this kid.

You should bet now, Kambasos is really underrated, and the fact that he is still undefeated now, that says a lot that he is really a good boxer. Haney is just favored because of his great boxing talent, but a knockout artist for me is fun to watch compared to a technical boxer that sometimes would only be boring.

Kambasos at 3.25, that's a good steal.

The fact that he is playing in front of the home crowd, we can expect that he will fight harder as he is more motivated to win. With this kind of odds, it seemed like bookies does not see Kambasos as a champion who has a good chance of beating Haney.

The words are underrated and underestimated.
1420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: June 02, 2022, 01:03:27 PM

This would clear up other doubts if Donaire did win. apart from him being able to get revenge after a few years ago losing like you said this will be a trilogy that is very worth watching.

Actually in this case I'm still pretty sure with Donaire now despite Inoe's strength from this blow it can still be anticipated if he continues to be beaten but maybe this will be a little difficult

I would be so happy if Donaire will win the rematch, he is not expected to win as he is a heavy underdog, but Donaire as what we've seen in the first fight, was really giving Inoue a hard time, and that's why I like about him because he has a heart of a Warrior, he never gives up and he can intimidate Inoue with his style of boxing which has a good accuracy.
Seeing from the first fight, it's a shame that Inoue didn't fall there so he won in the calculations but in this case it was clear that Donaire would not want something like this to happen again and would force him to take down Inoue directly.
I am in the same boat as you in this case even though it will be difficult to happen but I still believe in Donaire now

How could it be a shame while that fight became fight of the year? Donaire's fans is not ashamed about that lose and they are so proud on what Donaire shows that's why we see a rematch between them because their last meeting is so good. Although he didn't knock off the japanese but as you can see Inoue also struggle and we see bloods flowing in his face. So for sure we can see a big revenge for Donaire because its time for him to pick some good shots to revenge on what Inoue do to him in their last match.

Donaire lost but he was the only fighter that gave Inoue a tough challenge. If we will check Inoue's fights, all of the fights are easily won by him, but during the fight against Donaire, we saw how Donaire exchange punches on him and Donaire also hurt Inoue, so we cannot underestimate Donaire despite he is not anymore on his prime.
