1481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would be an ideal KYC solution? on: December 07, 2022, 08:37:46 PM
There is no solution.

Centralized Casino always required you "KYC", never believe any casino who offers you "Without-KYC" from Centralized Casino. A casino who offering without KYC is always Decentralized CASINO while the type gambling is on-chain gambling (Using smart-contract without any developer touch). But the problem for Decentralized Casino, we really have limited gambling game (Most the time, Dice-chain or Lottery).

Always be ready for "KYC". My advice, play on casino who have higher minimum withdraw for required "KYC". Example like "Stake", I already tested withdraw 10,000$ they not ask me KYC.
Maybe for now, Stake is still giving an exception and just require KYC whenever a huge amount is being withdrawn. But I’m not totally sure if it stays that way for long when most of the casinos are already requiring it from the start, and you can read it in their own rules that as long as KYC is required, user should submit to it. So let’s just be realistic about KYC, there is no solution to it, the government has set its rules and casinos are obliged to follow.
1482  Economy / Economics / Re: How much longer until paper money is no longer in circulation? on: December 07, 2022, 07:57:56 PM
I can't imagine paper money just going away...  Even when it is removed from circulation it will probably be phased out, but I'm sure there will always be a bank you can take paper to in order to get whatever value is passed around at the time.  I imagine there are older folks who will not be able to move to a new system and will rely on cash because that's what they've always used.  All that considered, you are already seeing cash use diminish in most countries and I think by 2040 kids won't even see cash in their lifetimes out of collections.
Personally, I can’t figure it out if paper money will be out in circulation since majority of us are used to it already. I would really want to believe that it’s staying for good but we also know that traditional money is already left behind as having digital currencies or CBDCs have more advantage since we are already in a digital age. However, if CBDCs has its aim to replace paper money, then maybe it should be happening by now, but it seems that CBDCs are just made to co exist with paper money, just to give more option to the users so they can use where they feel more convenient about it.
1483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Brazil Has Approved Bill Recognizing Bitcoin As a Payment Method. on: December 06, 2022, 09:36:00 PM
I saw this headline this morning in the news, but never read it into detail, between this is a good move by the Brazilian people to adopt Bitcoin as a payment method in other news as a legal tender just like in El Salvador.

Now Brazil joins other countries in adopting bitcoin as an alternative currency which gives citizens a wide range of options for financial transactions.

Brazil didn't make Bitcoin a legal tender, it just allowed to use it. And IMO it is good and better corresponds the spirit of Bitcoin: you got an alternative but you are not made to use it. Bitcoin has enough benefits of using it and not to be needed in legislative enforcement to use it.
Yes, Brazil has still their own legal tender which is Brazilian Real. The news is all about recognizing and legalizing the use of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies as a payment method, so they are widely recognized now by the people of Brazil. I know this is a very positive news for the bitcoin community, and hopefully not only Brazil will benefit bitcoin but also it’s neighboring countries in the future.
1484  Economy / Economics / Re: Share Your Best Money Advice Based on Personal Experience on: December 05, 2022, 09:54:56 PM
For the longest time, I have been thinking about doing this. It seems like the right time is now. All of us have had good, bad, and ugly experiences with money. So now is a good time to offer your two cents worth of financial advice.

Ty question-  Based on your cumulative life experiences, can you share your best money advice with us?

I'd go first -  Stay out of debt as much as you can.
Invest in your health and save some emergency funds first before you get to spend them all. Sometimes, when we are mostly concerned with paying our bills and budgeting for foods and services, we tend to forget to invest in our health. Note that health is wealth. If you will always make your health as your last option, believe me all your money will just go into your own medication, instead of using it for other productive means.
1485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: December 05, 2022, 02:48:43 AM
Now I don't know if this kind of performance will impress Inoue or will still be willing to take Casimero as potential opponent in 122 lbs or go right away for the champion in this division if ever he wins this fight against Paul Butler next week.

Maybe it doesn't catch Inoue's attention but surely he is impressed with how Casimero fought in that match. Akaho is something, not a level-type fighter that's why Inoue maybe considered that fight as just a usual fight and had no bearing on him.

Although, we hope in the future that someday, the supposed fight between Inoue and Casimero will now finally take place.

For now, let's wait for the result of this match that's already predictable by 99.9%.

It's nice if he is impressed and challenged at the same time because that would result in a possible fight in case he will decide to move up. Their fight did not happen in the bantamweight division, so maybe it will happen here in super bantamweight division, but of course, he has to beat Butler first.
1486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 05, 2022, 02:32:27 AM
Anthony Davis just put in the best game of the year in helping the Lakers beat the Wizards 130 to 119. Anthony Davis had 55 points and 17 rebounds on only 30 shots. LeBron had a pretty good night as well with 29 points. It was all Davis tonight though as he showed how dominant he can be. I hope he can stay healthy and keep this streak rolling.

Yes, I saw the game and he was very efficient. Davis just unleashed his true self, dropping this kind of stats will give him a shot of winning the season's MVP. Lakers just keep winning guys, this is a good sign that their system was created and it's very effective.
1487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 04, 2022, 11:21:56 AM
Right, by now we know what Davis can really bring to the Lakers, specially when he was in a rampage and the statistics that he has put in that 5 game stretch if I'm not mistaken. But they can't totally depend on him, because admit it or not, he is very fragile that a simple fail or just going to get the ball or even helping his team mates to stand up might result in pulled muscle or injuries.

So as a coach, Ham should experiment with different combination, sort of testing everything when Davis is on the bench.

To get a feel and see who works inside an who doesn't.
Well said and I agree with it. The Lakers team should always prepare about what may happen in the future as Davis's had a bad history of sudden injuries which will leave them hanging again. Lebron is also in the stage of that as he is getting older.
Next will be Westbrook to lead the team, Schroder to back him up and Reaves to be the next playmaker if Russ will let it.
They have a lot of young players too, give them more minutes to gain more experience on a well-lighted floor. They may be good at practice but it's always different when it's game time.

I think they have done multiple experiments with or without AD and Lebron and we know what the result is, meaning either can't be missed as it will be a disaster.

And they found the perfect the combination of just bringing Westbrook at the bench. I like to point out the Pat is also being aggressive as far as his offense goes, he is shooting good in 3 and some dribble penetration. I guess there is a sense of urgency for them or for the players to really perform very well because there could be missed opportunity or at least they will know where to fit in when Davis or Lebron is out.

Of course, they can't tank again this season, they need to be in the playoffs so they have a chance to win a championship again. They were criticized at the beginning but look where they are now, they seemed to found the way to be a championship caliber team and beating the Bucks is just a good statement to that.
1488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 04, 2022, 10:35:01 AM
So this is now where Chot won't participate in the playoffs after 21 years. He became a fun meme for most PBA and basketball fans recently because of his attitude towards the game and for being too selfish about coaching two teams, Gilas and his team.
I think his team being out is actually good if you're thinking about the Gilas so that he can focus there more and there won't be any distractions anymore from the playoffs. And then from there, prove the critics wrong and show that he deserves wherever he is.

If his team does not qualify for the playoffs, then how can you expect they'll do better in international competition? Gilas are probably composed of lots of TNT players because he is the coach, so I don't see the team being a quality team to be competitive enough against the big and more agile teams.
1489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 03, 2022, 02:13:30 PM
Romeo playing with limited minutes now but is very efficient already.

He already had 8 points from 3/6 shooting, and SMB is already leading by 20 points so most likely Romeo will have more minutes since he is playing very well. SMB is really different in situations where they badly need a win, so I guess we have a winner already.

It ended up a close game, if the ref did the right call when Lassiter was on back court violation, there's a chance the game will go to OT. By the way, Romeo finished with 12 points with 16 minutes of playing and his shooting percentage is very poor, 5/14.
Rigged!!!!!!!!!! Just kidding Cheesy

It's a no bearing game for both teams since SMB already secured the 5th spot and the Bolts is already eliminated. With regards to Romeo, like I said, I didn't expect too much from him since he just came back after an injury that caused him not to play for months. 5/14 is very poor indeed but scoring 12 points in his comeback is already a good one.

For the final match-up for the 8th spot, it will be the Rain or Shine Vs. the NLEX. Will we see an MVP team in the playoffs this conference or they all MVP teams will be totally eliminated. Nevertheless, whoever wins between the two, they can't beat Bay Area Dragons. Tongue

Whether it's a no bearing game or an important game, refs did really missed making the right call, so I understand why people are talking about that game. I don't know the point spread, but if that ball was given to Meralco, they have the last position to tie the game.

Anyway, that's over and we should not be surprise as this is PBA where miss calls happens. LOL

Replay tells it all and even I'm a SMB fan ref still need to call the right decision with that violation, it's a clear missed call after watching the replay, though it's done and nothing can be change now but it will bring more doubts about how the ref handling this league, those who are betting for Meralco or for the handicap are surely disappointed since Meralco can tie the game if being permitted with the right call.

Moving forward, SMB is now moving and will try to defend their title. If Romeo and Fajardo will play healthy on their next following games, it will be a tough match up for converse.

We know how both Romeo and Fajardo once they start making their usual productions. The big factor here is how converge import will bring his squad competing with a tough caliber and defending champ from this conference.

SMB has Romeo now, and they will only be better, and with Fajardo back already, that will add more confidence to the team. Though they are not on top of the ranking, I think they are still the team to beat. Of course, Ginebra has Brownlee who had lots of success in the playoffs but this time it's going to be different, SMB won't win the championship because SMB will ruin their plan.
1490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: December 03, 2022, 01:29:36 PM
How many weeks have already passed with no new information? After being denied his chance a few years back, does Spence really not want to defend against Thurman?

When Crawford is finished dealing with Avanesyan, Spence will also be available. Spence must therefore need to pick a fight. He doesn't give updates to his fans and media on what will happen next. Will he stay or will he advance to another division? He is starting to irritate people.

If he choose that direction then Thurman will take his belt, a mandatory fight that being call by the association so Spence needs to comply with this mandaotry fight to defend and possible keeping the belt, If he will let Thurman take this belt then it will be an interesting event that possibly brings Thurman in a talk against Crawford.

I like also that possibility, I like to see how Thurman will chase Crawford's belt though it will be a tough fight as Crawford is more on defensive strategy a hard one to penetrate and land a solid combinations.

Spence would be out of his mind if he will let that happen, giving his hard-earned belts to Thurman is not gonna happen, Thurman needs to earn that by beating Spence. And yes, of course, if Thurman will be the new title holder, things will be easier for Crawford to convince Thurman as the latter is not afraid to fight anyone, that's in his DNA.

Spence was making sure that he will remain a champion and undefeated, so he will not be stupid to just lose his belt easily. Thurman is not an easy opponent, so I'm pretty sure that Spence is happy with his opponent as a win will make big news. People will always compare, if both Spence and Crawford win, people will appreciate Spence because of his tough opponent.

I don't know, but I have a feeling that this is the toughest fight of Spence.
1491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: December 03, 2022, 11:29:37 AM
I'm still trying to dissect what really happened, I do agree this Akaho should no longer fight, he deserves to have an Oscar for his act here.

Probably when he tasted the power of Casimero is just the few minutes of the first round, he decided to no longer want the fight and think of how he can quit the game. What a shame.

Wait, so what was the final decision of the fight, I've seen the highlights but due to Akaho resting too long, there's no announcement in the highlight. So did Casimero gets disqualified for hitting Akaho at the back of the head or did Casimero won via TKO?

The fight resulted in a no contest, but regardless, it was very obvious that Casimero is already winning that fight, if Akaho is not a good actor, Casimero could be declared the winner. What we are seeing is a beast Casimero, he was very aggressive and wanted to finish the fight early.
1492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: December 03, 2022, 07:44:31 AM
Agreed, however, I would be betting for him with not much expectation of winning money hehehe. Ryan Garcia is a better boxer than many others in his weight division but he is an entertainer more than a fighter much similar to Conor McGregor, I reckon. Tank is the real fighter and the future king in his weight division, very similar to Khabib. However, we cannot underestimate King Ryan's left hook which can certainly knockout tank.

I would not compare Garcia to McGregor though, I think both Garcia and Tank have an equal chance of winning, Khabib is just so good that almost all of his fights are easily won, on the case of Davis it does not work like that for him, especially if he will face Garcia who has a slight advantage on him. This is just my opinion, I could be wrong, so let's just enjoy watching the fight.
1493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 03, 2022, 07:28:27 AM

What an intense 4th Quarter battle between the Los Angeles Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks.

Starting from around the 6-7 minute mark, every play of both team are crucial and a mistake can cost a turnaround event. It's like every possession is a must. Both teams also show good offense and they are literally exchanging leads. Everyone will be impressed too with how both teams show their good defense, especially those amazing blocks. Damn Giannis. He is really no doubt unstoppable and even defended well, he really nailing those shots at the paint. However, the Lakers were able to maintain their good phase until the final buzzer.

Actually, there's a chance for the Bucks to force an OT after Russel Westbrook missed his last free throw (he will surely be criticized if the Lakers lose that game even though his overall game is good Cheesy) and when Giannis grab the ball on their possession, he should not think twice to attack the paint as he is unstoppable and might draw a foul for a 3-point play. But instead, he passed it to Holiday for a 3-point attempt to tie the game but failed to do so.

I didn't expect that the Lakers would win, I mean Bucks were the heavy favorites in that game and they are hosting the Lakers. It was Davis and Lebron who carried this team but I'm afraid Davis might be prone to injury as he contribute very hard for the win, I can't imagine seeing Davis getting injured again, God forbib.

1495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: December 02, 2022, 01:07:05 PM
So, we have a fight as both fighters make the super bantamweight limit with no problem at all.

Here is the official weight as per my favorite boxing analyst/vlogger  Grin:

Casimero 55 kg/121.25 lbs
Akaho 55.2 kg/121.69 lbs

With this, i could say that Casimero's seriousness in the training pays off as he got no problem with the weight and the chance for him to win by KO increases at least with my speculation but the odds for him to win by KO is not so good for us ordinary bettors. At the moment it is @1.44 while @4.40 for a decision win.

I understand why the odds for KO is lower because it's expected that Casimero will try to have an impressive win. No problem with his weight, it means he is training hard and complying the requirement, at this weight requirement, I think he will have no problem and eventually he will fight the champion and be a champion again.
1496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fury v Chisora 3 3rd of December on: December 02, 2022, 12:43:05 PM
I have no idea they had already fought before, I only know Fury when he beats Wilder and his opponent now seemed like not a popular boxer. What happened to the rumored fight between Fury and Usyk?

In this fight, I would certainly choose Fury to win, he is the king in heavy weight division so I don't him losing in this battle.
1497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 02, 2022, 08:18:33 AM

Detroit Pistons VS Dallas Mavericks SCORE 131 - 125 - LOST

Surely the Dallas Mavericks are struggling this season, I don't really know if it's Luka's fault well other players might have been very conscious of getting a score when Luka is on the court, and Luka Doncic is pretty much aware that he is slow like he has said in the inside NBA interview, that they have landed a 4 losing streak and they have said that they should have played a fast pace in the next game and the other guys are struggling in where they should position on the team,

I don't see any problem with the Dallas Mavericks' style of play, I think they should not focus more on Luka, move the ball well like the Suns are doing so everyone will have the chance to shoot, if that will happen, they will become a tough team to beat because they will be unpredictable while they still can have a consistent Luka Doncic.

They should make an adjustment already, don't wait until they'll be in a losing streak.

Here you go guys, the betting odds are up.

https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/boxing/international/international-matchups/casimero-john-riel-vs-akaho-ryo-6387073ec8d4e86e60ddb77a

As expected, Casimero is listed as the heavy favorites.

here are the odds.

Casimero - 1.15
Akaho - 5.20
Casimero is being paid less profit but Casimero is a potential player and he is very strong and his fighting capacity is at a very high level.  So I think Casimero will win this boxing match.  Because I've seen him play before and I'm impressed every time I see him fighting . He is a young boxer on the other hand I am a big fan of his body tattoos

That's not a payment structure, it's a betting odds where you will choose to bet on if you are interested in risking your money for this fight. It means if you bet on Casimero, you'll only win 15% of your bet, while if you bet on Akaho, you'll win 420%.

That's the betting odds, we only talk about profit if we win, but without winning that odds are nothing as the most important is the amount we bet or risk. Less odds means high percentage of winning, so this fight says that casimero will likely win, but the question is, would you take that odds.

In my country, there is a law of animal welfare, and against for animal cruelty such as horse and dog fight, but what, cock fighting is legal here. Only to those licensed cockpits in every sunday and some holidays.
Due to this is a huge business here and already part of the culture and tradition since many hundred years ago, i don't think if government will stop it or make a law against it since most politicians are only held to protect their businesses.
Cockfighting in my country isn’t new anymore and is certainly not an issue even if it’s considered a form of animal cruelty. The fact that it’s been legalized by the government and there are big names behind on it protecting, so it can’t be easily banned or stopped. However, on my own point of view, cockfighting is not just a form of animal cruelty but there are also a lot of crimes happening that is associated to cockfighting just like robbery, drug selling or using, and sometimes committing murder which made me see it as something that needs to be banned or something that should not be played in casinos.
