921  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: One or more trading strategies, which one do you prefer? on: June 10, 2023, 03:38:10 PM
It is dangerous to rely entirely on one method. Markets are dynamic and ever-changing, and a strategy that works well in one market scenario may not work as well in another. Traders might possibly profit from diversification and lessen their reliance on any particular technique by mixing various tactics. Furthermore, as you indicated in your experience, combining methods might aid in better filtering trade signals. When different techniques corroborate the same signal, it can boost the trader's confidence and raise the likelihood of success.
To be a successful trader, one must be flexible and knowledgeable enough on what strategy that will perfectly suit the market condition. At times, it may be bullish while at some point it's bearish so you have to be considerate and always settle with a strategy that works overtime. And if you can add and master more trading strategies, then that will give you an edge as a trader. Having a single strategy is good if it's consistently working, but it's considered a loss if you keep relying on it even on times that it's no longer effective anymore.
922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Also Girls Should Be Taught About Bitcoin on: June 10, 2023, 08:38:15 AM
there should be no difference between women and men in this case, anyone can learn and know bitcoin, because bitcoin belongs to everyone
indeed in the community mostly men dominate but behind the scenes there are many women who are involved in it
The opportunities offered in the crypto world are varied so everyone can enter
All is fair with bitcoin opportunities. Whatever men may achieved, women too are also capable for that as long as they are knowledgeable and skilled enough to understand the real essence of bitcoin and how it works for us. The reason why OP is actually doing the right thing informing and educating her sister about bitcoin. Who knows it could be a source of finance for her education without even relying from her parents. However, know that bitcoin has also its own risks. If you’re not vigilant, you’ll end up as a loser rather than seeing yourself in progress.
923  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Bitcoin market is back on track on: June 10, 2023, 08:11:00 AM
Although we cannot know for sure where the market will move, especially the next bitcoin price. But I hope so too. Sometimes a correction is needed to muster more strength to enter an upgrade to a higher level in the next bull run. But today's altcoin market is becoming more erratic. the volatility sometimes on some assets is always the opposite of Bitcoin. although the majority follow bitcoin.
Correction is needed for bitcoin to find new support to grow stronger. Price volatility is to be expected as traders and investors have the opportunity to buy low and sell high and adjust their strategy accordingly. Bitcoin is difficult to predict because many factors make its price trend change in an instant, therefore every trader and investor must be careful and consider the risks before trading and investing.
Precisely. Due to high volatility, traders and investors should know when to invest or trade so they can take advantage of the opportunities that this high volatility brings to the market. Otherwise, if we don’t know how to manage the risks and just jump to conclusion with our uncontrolled emotions, then we will always see volatility or price corrections as no good at all since we may end up losing rather than taking advantage and being profitable. Bitcoin is indeed highly volatile, but know that it’s certainly the best reason why we are able to gain exceptional and life changing profits through investing and trading.

925  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 7 tips to know about crypto trading on: June 09, 2023, 08:25:11 PM

I will add a suggestion that always invest money in trading that you don't need, because it is a risky platform even if you lose it will not affect your daily life. As this is a volatile market and in times of need, your purchased coins may be at a loss and you can make a loss when selling.

We need every money that we have. Nobody says he doesn't need the money he has because people keep struggling to make more money. I think regarding to investment, the right saying is not to invest as much that you can bear if you lose it. Like you have rightly stated that it is a risky market with cryptocurrency, you can have profit doubling your capital in a day and you can also lose all of it same day, so to trade with good money management will keep you in the market longer. All monies are needed but we decided to invest some on a risk to get more.
Stick with the basic. Just invest an amount that you can afford to lose, otherwise if you use your money intended to pay the bills or to buy your necessities, you will really be in trouble after that. Most especially with trading, as it won’t guarantee easy profiting so you have to be more skilled and knowledgeable enough before you decide to trade and risk your money. You know, money is almost everything these days, so make sure if you risk some amount, make sure you will gain more than to lose them all. Trading is hard, but if you are a good one, then you’ll also be rewarded with life changing profits.
926  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My friend interested in investing in BTC but the friend's father does not agree on: June 09, 2023, 08:08:18 PM
Your friend getting a job in the government with a pretty high salary is what many people dream of, and above all, it guarantees his future. Meanwhile, bitcoin is illegal in your country, and he is a government employee. If unfortunately, they find out he is secretly investing in bitcoin, his job and future will surely disappear.

Honestly, it's hard to give advice in this case. Bitcoin is a very promising investment, but if it were me, I would advise him not to rush to invest in bitcoin and focus well on his current job, as it will ensure his future, and bitcoin is not guaranteed. Bitcoin still has unforeseen risks. In his case, comparing bitcoin investment and his current job, his job is much more promising and safer than bitcoin. So he doesn't really need a trade-off. I will support his father's point of view.
I agree. This is really a risky decision for your friend. He can be successful with bitcoin investment later on but if that would mean losing his stable job, I don’t think it’s reasonable enough. He should still chose his job over bitcoin especially that bitcoin is currently banned in your country. However, he can wait for the right time to invest and that is when your country will lift their ban on bitcoin. I guess it’s highly possible especially that most countries these days have been more open minded about bitcoin and crypto. Tell him to be more patient instead.
927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: June 09, 2023, 01:31:10 AM
There are two games scheduled today:

The 1st game is Blackwater Bossing vs Northport.
The 2nd game is Phoenix LPG vs NLEX Road Warriors.

I checked with my bookie, but unfortunately, there are no betting odds available at the moment. Do you know of any sportsbook that provides pregame betting odds for these particular games?
928  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hi Im trader over 12 years of experince here is my goal on: June 08, 2023, 09:53:44 PM
Im trader over 12 years of experince.
I like to challenge myself iwill use mainly moving average indicator.
My goal is to start with 7$ and in 15 days i'll turn this into 229376$
I'll post here results when i have done this my PNL from binance.

I wish you luck because you are really going to need it as you want to obtain 32768x in profits, I do not know why you want to obtain such specific amount of profits in such a short amount of time, but you will probably have better chances of obtaining those results by buying a lottery ticket than by using your 12 years of experience to trade.

Now it seems that according to the rest of your posts that you want to motivate others with your actions, but I have profound doubts this is the way to go about this.
Not just luck, but it’s more of a miracle I guess since 15 days is only his time allowance. It could might have been possible in months or years, but only 15 days, it seems like you’ll only trade losing at the end. But seeing how small your capital is, then losing will never be a big issue. It could be possible with gambling if you become extra lucky, but with trading, that will be a very tough decision to make.
929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Force Your Children to Learn Bitcoin on: June 08, 2023, 09:33:22 PM
Learning will not takes place once the children do not show interest to learn. So even if we keep teaching them about bitcoin and how it will be an asset in our future, once the children have no passion about bitcoin, then all our efforts will come into waste. However, always know that children are still having brain development so there will always be a change of heart and mind once they reach a mature age. And maybe by that time they will come to understand the real value of bitcoin and would want to eagerly learn bitcoin by then. So if we can teach them at a young age so they can gain prior learning and overview about it, then maybe it could also help them in the future.
930  Economy / Gambling / Re: Using ToS against users normal? on: June 08, 2023, 11:15:50 AM
It doesn't sound right if it's used against us gamblers because it portrays a negative image. If gambling sites were to change their Terms of Service (TOS), it should be justifiable and in compliance with government regulations or their licensing provider, to be more specific. Personally, even though most of the gambling sites I play on don't notify users about changes in the TOS, I am not worried because I have confidence that they are fair.
931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: June 08, 2023, 10:46:18 AM

Though I won't be surprise if I will see their names when playing in FIBA world, the trust that Reyes have for these two boys is really unimaginable, ignoring the fans and let the bash to continue is something that a coach Chot is willing to accept for the Ravenas.

He needs to ensure that these two players make significant contributions, considering they will likely face criticism once again. Despite the fans' call for him to resign, he continues to coach the Gilas team. It is evident that the fans want Coach Tab to lead the team again, but the SBP has chosen to disregard their wishes. It's not that we don't support our team, but rather we are unsatisfied with the current coaching style.
932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: June 08, 2023, 04:00:59 AM
In fact, if I can remember it correctly, Bob Arum and Inoue was looking forward to have a normal fight, pretty much like a tune-up fight just to settle Inoue's body in the weight class first before having Fulton up next

I think there's no plan on that before since they can't just have a normal fight or tune-fight-up if it's involved, Naoya Inoue. Top Rank won't bother to organize a fight for an undisputed champion versus a ranked fighter just for Inoue to adopt the new weight class.

Since it's not necessary, the only thing is to go directly against the champion as that is the logical way to do it. Maybe if Fulton decided to really leave the 122 and moved up to 126, Inoue will be fighting against a ranked fighter at the 122 instead.

But since it's not happened, and Fulton disregards his desire of moving up, the deal has finally been settled and organized.

Absolutely, we just have to wait for the scheduled date and hope that Inoue is fully recovered and in top shape after getting injured in a practice fight. This is one of the most highly anticipated fights of the year, as it marks Inoue's first title fight in this division. The outcome of this fight will have a significant impact on the perception of the champions in this division. What I'm trying to convey is that if Inoue can easily dominate Fulton, it suggests that he could potentially dominate the entire division without much difficulty.
933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Big is the online gambling industry today? on: June 07, 2023, 08:33:22 PM
Yes, each can't replace the other but let's admit it, online gambling help us survive during the pandemic time. They are very effective as alternative to the physical gambling. There are risks in online gambling but that can be prevented. One of it is to be scammed by the casino.

We don't need to rush but we must look for feedbacks first if this casino here is truly legit or not. In case something bad happens to us like we lost our funds. We can try to report them to the gambling authorities including here on our forum. I already saw lots of successful stories here where a gamblers account have been recovered or their funds have been returned.
The pandemic changed everything, people realized how frail was the world they were living and with that realization came a sense of doing what they could to live a normal life under those circumstances, and gambling online was one of the ways in which those people learned to cope with the situation, after all we must not forget there was nothing to watch on TV as no new shows were being produced, sport competitions were suspended and only old shows were aired, so people desperate to find some sort of excitement on their lives used online gambling to deal with this.

Hence why online casinos became a trend and the pandemic even paved a way for these casinos to be a much bigger industry than what it is a decade ago. And just like you guys have said, people did not have that much option about finding past time and a sort of entertainment at that time as there is no radio to hear and no television shows to see as people are barred to go outside their house. Even now, online casinos are still booming and we here knows that very well as we did notice a lot of casinos surfaced that wanted a promotion from us.
934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not a steady income haven on: June 07, 2023, 08:08:18 PM
In my opinion , a gambler should never rely on his winnings to be his income! If you do this , you really have life issues that should be properly address because it's not healthy at all and what will you do when you get a losing streak ? because let's be honest here , it happened to all of us.

On the other side , if I go to my local bookie here I will see 2 or 3 familiar faces that are from morning until midnight there and guess what guys ...their monthly income is based on gambling from morning until night but you can't imagine how stressed it is to actually think and re-think strategies just for 1 bet. Grin
Usually an unemployed person will prioritize the results of gambling as a steady income and sometimes they also expect the winnings to be able to eat tomorrow or use the winnings to have fun gambling again, unfortunately I am a worker so I only play gambling on weekends, even if there is a match football, which I usually often bet on sports betting while playing games at the casino as long as the event starts to fill the time.

I never thought of making gambling as a steady income because it would obviously stress me out and think it's unhealthy to be frivolous trying as much as possible to find victory and achieve targets, even though we know that gambling doesn't always give wins, usually every day it always ends in defeat.

Cannot really blame them if that's what they see because whether we like or not, gambling is truly the shortest way to have some money and it is also the fastest way to lose it, so it's a gamble to make and people are still going to take the risks even after knowing the fact, just like you said, most are the unemployed person. Unfortunately, while their reason is somehow correct as they are just trying to survive, they are finding the money in the wrong place.
935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: June 07, 2023, 05:51:27 PM
I'm not sure what you meant by not everyone is happy for the Fulton vs Inoue fight. It's a great fight and maybe one of the most anticipated fight in the super bantamweight as Inoue is going up in weight and wanted to become a champion again. While Fulton wanted to stay his ground and proved that he is the king of this division.

He meant that the winner of the Fulton vs Inoue fight will be mandated to fight Tapales. There's no question that Fulton vs Inoue is a big fight, but this division is not a money-sucker yet. So, I'm sure if Inoue dominates this division, he will likely move up again.

We are certain he will because he won't be able to match the success of Pacman if he stays in just one division. However, I believe it's still too early to discuss that. We all know that Inoue is the challenger, so let's first see if he can truly defeat the champion Fulton before hyping Inoue's future success. After Fulton, Inoue is likely to face Tapales, who is a champion, leading to a unification fight, and it's probable that Inoue will also aim for an undisputed fight.

All these possibilities will only come to fruition if Inoue emerges victorious.

Let's just have one step at a time because sooner or later, we will going talk to talk about it before this year ends and besides, discussing about the possible and upcoming unification with Marlon Tapales is like we're already underestimating Steph Fulton's capability to defend his belt and we should not forget as well that this is his division and he is the 2-belt champion which is what Naoya Inoue is after. I know that Fulton have said that he will vacate the division regardless of the outcome, but that is still not a guaranteed that he will really do it as he is not going to make that kind of choice by himself, alone.
936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 07, 2023, 05:19:59 PM
I know the Miami Heat won the last game, but I just don't see them winning any more than one more throughout this series.  I guess I would be foolish to count them out, like I and many others have throughout the entire playoffs, but I just think Denver is that much better.

Game is at -2.5 Denver right now, I'm liking those odds, even if they are in Miami.

That was their thought after what happened in game 1 but to spice things up look at what the Heat have done. they are not gonna give up easily until the last minute f the game and they ended up winning the second game. if they improve their game tomorrow and do not let Denver make a huge lead throughout the game, then they will do the same scenario where they gonna hassle in the fourth quarter and steal the show as they had in the second game.

We cannot predict the outcome of the game with certainty. In my opinion, it's not just about which team is better, but also a battle between the coaches. I believe Coach Spo is a strong coach who excels at making in-game adjustments. While I may be wrong, I don't guarantee that Miami will win. However, judging by their performance in Game 2, even with Butler not scoring well, I anticipate that they will pose a significant challenge to the Nuggets.

And they successfully did because they have manage to defeat the Denver Nuggets and secured their first win in Game 2 at Denver which is very wild thing to do. While coach Spoelstra is good when it comes to adjustments, let's also expect that their will be a backlash from coach Malone as he will not just sit around doing nothing after what happened in Game 2 and let other teams dominated them after having a game advantage.
937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 07, 2023, 04:57:43 PM

I want to see how the Denver Nuggets will adjust. The first lost at their home must have affected them and their confidence and now it's how they can recover from that and better it will be in a competitive environment at the Miami homecourt.
I expect Jokic to be a monster again. Adjustments will surely happen, Murray might get more aggressive, and they might go back at using Gordon under the rim to score some easy deuce.

It is certain that they will make significant adjustments after the disappointing loss in game 2. Let's see what they will do to counter the strategy of the Heat, which has made Jokic more of a scorer than a passer. According to the statistics, the Nuggets have more losses in games where Jokic scores 40+ points.

Yes, Nikola Jokic being a scorer instead of a passer which is kind of perks of being a big man is really gave an advantage towards the Heat. The latter made a big gamble on that one because it's not guaranteed that they can really hold out Jokic and prevent him from being him and make a triple double with huge assists on his stats. Without his passes, Murray's offensive will also be affected. So let's see what will happen later.

In my opinion, it doesn't work like that if you try to make gambling your source of income. Most successful professional gamblers achieve their success in the long run, so you cannot expect a gambler to win every day in order to be profitable. The key is treating gambling as a business or job, where having a substantial amount of capital is crucial. As long as you can consistently win a certain percentage from your capital, that should be considered a success. Unlike a lottery where you risk a small amount and potentially win big, gambling is the opposite, and therefore having a decent capital is essential.
939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 06, 2023, 01:04:41 PM
Well now I don't know which way to go for game 3.  Literally zero clue or feeling of what will happen.  I think I'm just going to bow out and enjoy the rest of the series.  Might throw some on jokic props because no one can stop that dude.  Crazy game.

I didn't expect Denver Nuggets to still be the bookies favorites for game 3, but as things currently stands, they're the favorites as per the bookies, I'll expect multiple rotations and changes to both rosters, so I really can't also pick a side too, as the game 2 went both ways and both teams had significant lead they could both bank on to win the game, so I would agree your assertion of not being able to pick one side, as for I'd just stick to my player props and settle for perhaps medium lines with decent chances according to my risk analysis and enjoy the game.

However, I would still give the Nuggets the edge here if I were to pick a side because they've a better performing bench players compared to the Miami Heat, aside from the veteran maestro Kyle Lowry who heavily impact these games despite is high minutes restriction.

The Nuggets have the edge, but I like the Heat's chances in their first home game in the NBA Finals. If the Nuggets were able to make their fans happy in game 1, I'm confident the Heat will do the same in their first game. This series has become a game of adjustments. Expect Kevin Love to still have plenty of minutes on the floor if the Nuggets fail to make an adjustment. Now, the Nuggets cannot bully inside as Kevin Love is there to stop Gordon from doing so.

As of now, there have been no changes to the spread. It's still +2.5 for the Heat, which I believe is worth taking a shot.

Everything I do now that makes money is for the future of my children and family. Including investment, of course this is for the future of all. I would not give bitcoin directly to children for any reason, but all the investments I have right now are in them and their future. Maybe all parents think the same thing to make their family and children happy, that's what I'm thinking right now.

There will be a good time for them to enjoy the results of my investment in bitcoin, but not now though I am responsible for meeting their needs at all times. In the next few years, I hope this investment is useful for me and my family, so I will prepare well.
Passing them all our assets like bitcoin will definitely make their lives comfortable in the future, but that is not the best way we will prepare them for their future life’s battles. Instead, educating them and making them understand how valuable money is, especially for bitcoin. That way, they will work on their own using their own knowledge and honed skills even without us around. For me, that is the biggest gift and achievement we can ever pass on to our children.
