641  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Get a signal Source on Bitcoin. on: September 12, 2023, 09:30:43 PM
Getting a signal source for bitcoin is really good, the only thing it gets bad is when you rely on it solely for your trades. It’s okay to be more open to a lot of trading signals that you think will probably work on your trades, but if you keep on doing that, then what would be the use of your own trading knowledge and your personal market analysis? Instead of trying to get the best trading signals in the market, why not just do it on your own and study more about the trading market and all the factors that could possibly improve your trading skills and strategy. That way, even if you lose at time, at least you also learn from all your mistakes.
642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: September 12, 2023, 01:26:33 PM
Low chance Casimero would get that long-awaited fight against Naoya Inoue. Rankings will be the problem. But we have seen some boxers try to make the champions camp angry and get that fight that they want, it will still depend on the champion if he wants to prove something. But, the organization cannot help him because he ain't even near him.

2 ways. Make them mad and be forced to approve it. Or, get the help of the boxing fans including the popular boxing analysts to boost this fight to happen, but that will depend on Inoue's camp if they are getting itchy to have a match again.
Oh, and another way is to make it look like an act of revenge for Filipinos if ever Tapales loses this match but I don't want to assume just yet. Tapales is preparing like crazy hard on his training so we will see if there will be a change in history.
If Tapales wins, Casimero's chance to face the Monster will increase.

I believe that regardless of the outcome of the Inoue vs. Tapales fight, Casimero still has a decent chance of fighting Inoue. The champion has already announced his interest in staying in the division where he is the reigning champion, which might mean he will accommodate multiple challengers before seeking a new belt at a higher weight.

While he is waiting, Casimero can keep himself busy to ensure that his ranking improves, and I have no doubt that it will happen.

So, I remain optimistic that this anticipated fight will happen in the near future.
643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: September 12, 2023, 12:46:01 PM
Not sure why CStand is not in the lineup as for me he's really good protector /defender inside, plus his connection with Junemar, Mo' and TR7 really adds up for the team, same faces with JBL administering them, it's something that we as fans will enjoy the Asian Games. Like you, I'm also in that same thinking that this squad would be enough to bring pride for our country.

Maybe CStand is on vacation in Germany that's why he is not included in the pool but I think that the recently released line-up will change a bit because i have read an article that they will invite Justine Baltazar, an agile big man who could also help Fajardo on the boards since AJ Edu is not available. I prefer to have Balatazar in the squad rather that Mo Tautua, who is for me not fit in an international kind of play.

Is this the player that Tim Cone said was not interested in playing for the country? Because if this is the one, I think he should be given a chance. Tim Cone made bad remarks about him, and it's only fair to include him as he is a great player. He could be very useful for the team since he is still young and in his prime. I trust Tim Cone's judgment in choosing the roster that will represent the country, so I won't question who the players he will add are; I'll just support them.
644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling by financial dependents. on: September 11, 2023, 01:47:19 PM
I think the mother knows what is best for her child, so for now I support what the mother is doing, it would be good for the child to obey her, at least until he finishes school and gets his own job.

If the mother does not understand the risks and rewards of gambling, she doesn't know what's best. The fact that she doesn't want her son to gamble means she is afraid of taking risks and doesn't see gambling as a positive activity that could potentially lead to problems in the future. The problem with the older generation is that they stick too much to old beliefs. They don't understand that the world is constantly evolving, things are changing, and innovation is happening. So, I guess there's nothing wrong with a person of the right age gambling, as long as they do it responsibly.
645  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Friendly wagers in Bitcointalk on: September 09, 2023, 05:40:08 PM
I find it easier and safer to place my bets on casinos or sportsbooks. I have also engaged in friendly bets before, but only if the betting lines aren't available. I believe it would be more ideal to have a tournament-style betting system where the winner takes all; this would likely attract more bettors. I'm specifically referring to some betting threads that are run by reputable forum users. You simply put in your registration fee and choose your bet, and in the end, there's only one winner who takes home a substantial amount of money.

Well, your idea is good as well, but based on my observations and experience, it's not as attractive as you might think. Friendly wagers, for me, are more applicable in real-life situations, not in the online world, especially in a forum where users are anonymous.
646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: September 09, 2023, 04:32:48 PM
I expect all these NBA big stars to represent their nations next year in the Paris Olympics. It'll be exciting to watch the best Serbian, American, and French squads competing next year.

They are alarmed by what happened recently, and they will surely ensure that next time in international competition, they can bounce back. It's a wake-up call for them, I guess, and it makes them realize that other countries are becoming more competitive now, especially the European teams. They can't be too complacent because this tournament is not the same as it was years ago.
647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 09, 2023, 04:04:23 PM
It's just very unfortunate that it will go down again in history as the year that the US didn't win the Gold medal.

At least, we can't compare the current one to the previous World Cup when Team USA also got eliminated where the roster is mostly NBA superstars and best-of-the-best. Since Team USA announced their projective lineup before the official FIBA World Cup this year and following their lineup on their window games, I really have thought that Team USA might not make it to the Finals and I even mentioned that before.

Let's give credit to other countries that have shown improvement in this year's Cup. It doesn't mean that "it's Team USA" they are always the team to beat. Going back to the recent game between Team USA and Team Germany, the game is intense and overall, close. That's always the type of game we want to see at the most crucial stage of this tournament.

Congrats Team Germany for finally making their first appearance in the FIBA World Cup. Dirk Nowitzki is no doubt, surely happy.

The US always remains the favorite during FIBA World Cups but I am also not expecting them to win. They're young and they lack the FIBA type of experience. It was a close game against the Germans but they were never allowed to have continuous momentum. Edwards started a late rally and nearly pulled it up until he himself committed a big turnover in the dying seconds of the game. Great game and it was fun seeing the favorites lose to the underdogs. I have an ML bet on Canada to also beat the US. It should be fun and intriguing since Canada nearly has a 100% NBA roster.
The hype came back when they had impressive win after losing to Lithuania. Germany has really built a great system that even the best talents in the NBA could not defeat. I say 'best talents' because the USA wouldn't send a team they thought would not win. It was just the experience that was a huge disadvantage on their part. In addition, European teams have already caught up with the fast-paced style of basketball. In the NBA, some players are dominating, namely, Luka, Jokic, and Giannis.

It will be interesting to see if the US can also defend its gold medal in the Olympics next year. The US's most prominent basketball stars usually play only during the Olympics which is why they continue to dominate it through the years while ignoring the FIBA World Cup.

I guess I'm gonna be placing my bet on the USA here.
648  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exploring Crypto Prediction Tools: Which Ones Have You Tried? on: September 09, 2023, 03:11:35 PM
This is more like a shilling/advertisement attempt rather than trying to get community opinions. This isn't the first times there have been attempts by newbies like OP outrightly shilling a service that no one cares about.

Also, a key point to note:
- If AI has gotten as powerful as these services or websites hype it up to be, we'd know. At most, they would just lure you to join their paid service one way or another.

- Anything that sounds too good fo be true is probably not true.
No one falls for this except for other newbies like you do OP. Advertising a platform that you rarely even know is like trying to form an image like a scammer. You get to say the positive points about it and when people start trusting and then losing after, then you act like as if you never encourage them to do so. And take note, AI will never be reliable in trading. At times it may seem working but in the long run, its predictions will end up as pointless. No one is capable to read or predict correctly what’s ahead in trading, and if there’s any, you are likely believing in a scam.
649  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Preparations for BTC Halving and bull market on: September 09, 2023, 11:25:22 AM
So many expectations for the growth of Bitcoin after the halving reminds me of waiting for the coming of Santa, who will suddenly make everyone rich. Has anyone ever thought that suddenly something might not go according to plan? We have never been able to accurately predict Bitcoin's next move, so why are we confident that everything will be as it was before? I also hope for the best, but follow the saying, “hope for the best, but be prepared for the worst.”
Anything is possible in the extremely volatile world of cryptocurrencies as you mentioned, but investors are usually very optimistic about BTC halving events since they tend to trigger massive bull-runs and history has proven that.

Personally, I advise investing only what you are willing to lose at the end of the day.
Bitcoin halving still cannot guarantee us that everything will end up rising. Who knows if history will never  repeat itself, and it might end up the opposite way far from our expectation. Investing in bitcoin and preparing for a bitcoin halving is always good, but we should never forget to always invest with high caution. Invest at your own risk, so that if things fall out from the original plan, you will never see yourself in a worst situation.
650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My first sell with cypto after some months of introducing crypto as a payment on: September 09, 2023, 08:43:41 AM
Success is never achieved in an instant. It may take some time but I know the result will be worth the wait. There will be less people at first who will embrace crypto but eventually it will become a hit in your country if you never stop from promoting it. Hopefully more customers will be interested to know about crypto and how it can be an edge when it comes to payment system. However, despite of the positive response you made out from crypto, still never stop from accepting fiat because if these crypto users will suddenly be out in the market, at least you still have customers left using fiat.
651  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading bots... do they work? on: September 08, 2023, 09:18:21 PM
Looking to get some real-world feedback on trading bots, the pros, the cons and the most important question... do they work?

So please, only comment below if you're actively using trading bots and how successful they are.
Trading success is never measured on how you rely most often to trading bots or other trading signals group, because in reality your only self is the one reliable to make you successful. Professional traders have work hard to make them well experienced and well skilled in trading, and not because they have to rely for any automated trading bots. Though they work at times, but I don’t see them worth our time and money.
652  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What did you do After Reaching your Bitcoin Goal? on: September 08, 2023, 08:40:51 PM
To be honest, I’m still far from reaching my bitcoin goal. I’m still accumulating bitcoin as much as I can whenever I have spare money, as most of the time my budget is already used up from providing my family’s basic needs and necessities. So right now, my only investment is just focus on bitcoin. But when the time comes that I’m already in good profits with bitcoin, then I would also love to venture on buying properties like apartments so I can have my passive income as well as bitcoin investment may not be considered a passive income.
653  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin achievement on: September 08, 2023, 07:56:25 PM
Bitcoin is certainly a life changer, and your life is definitely a big proof. You did a great job dude, congrats.

I have also my own dreams with bitcoin, and for now I’m still in the process of fulfilling them. My life has already started to change a little, now I can start buying some of those things that I only used to window shop before. Before we only rented a small house, now we are already living in an apartment that is more comfortable to live with. And if before I hardly find some funds to treat my parents, now I can easily treat them in fancy restaurants and give them some spare money whenever I gained some decent profits from bitcoin.

< he might start off the bench because there no extra position for him to fill in while for the meantime, he will be a back up for Davis.

For me, having a player with length like Davis makes him a good backup, even though he may not be as strong as Davis in terms of rebounding and defense. However, giving Davis some rest would already be helpful, as every game feels different when Davis is on the court. He has the ability to bring a positive energy that elevates the team's performance. There shouldn't be any issues with the Lakers on the defensive end, given their height advantage. I'm confident that their coach knows how to manage the roster, so let's wait and see.

You know, it's kind of confusing to me now because lately before the Lakers acquired Christian Woods from the free agency, they also acquired and got somebody from the same agency, a guy named Jaxson Hayes.

A much younger player who I thought will be trained to replace Davis from being the center so that Davis will have some freedom in chasing down somebody whilst playing alongside LeBron and convert some points towards the team being a PF. Now, the roster seems to be in a middle of mess because of the new additional that they've acquired recently.

As long as they manage the lineup well, there should be no problem. Wood was acquired because the Lakers saw it as an opportunity. He was valued at $14 million last season with the Dallas Mavericks, while the Lakers signed him for only $5.7 million for 2 years. That's a big steal and having more players provides good depth in case Davis suffers from a serious injury. The Lakers are aware of Davis's injury history, so they have prepared for that possibility. Personally, I trust what they are doing, and the Lakers have already proven themselves last season despite falling to the Denver Nuggets.

Sad to see the United States get eliminated before even reaching the Final in the FIBA World Championships. While I don’t think these were the best players we could have sent, it seems like USA’s domination of basketball is losing its grip. They’d better send our best to win the gold at the next summer Olympic Games.
They will certainly send better players for the Olympic Games. Right from the start, there were discussions about the current lineup lacking experience. They were young and inexperienced, and it turned out we were correct; they didn't even reach the Finals. Better luck next time, though.
655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: September 08, 2023, 01:45:03 PM
Coming up next. The USA is a big favorite over Germany. An upset is not out of the table but I do hope we'll see an exciting game.

This is an interesting match up, but in their last game, I saw some problems from Germany, so I think they are not going to beat the USA. It will be USA vs. Serbia in the Finals, and Serbia will upset the USA to take the win. They have the consistency and great teamwork, so although Canada is full of NBA talents, they aren't strong enough to disrupt the great chemistry of Serbia.

It's too early to predict the Finals matchup. What if there are 2 upsets in the semi-finals, and we end up seeing Germany vs. Serbia in the Finals? The current game is quite close, with Germany even leading by 1 point in the first quarter, so this is a 50/50 ball game. It's a bit concerning if the USA can't dominate, as they might lose again. It would be their second loss if that were to happen, and they'd be out this time around. So far, the field goal percentage is very high, but I expect that defense will be imposed in the succeeding quarters.

This game has been exciting to watch. It looks like they are evenly matched, and let's remember that the -10.5 handicap given by the USA could even lead to a loss if they cannot control the tempo of the game. If this game remains close until the 4th quarter, then I would say that +10.5 will be easily covered, and we will see a lot of happy bettors here. USA is just overrated, composed of young and inexperienced players, and we expect them to dominate?

Still far from the conclusion, 2 more quarters for both teams to come up with good plays and good blending of players inside the court.

Germany is really playing well, not letting team US to dominate and control the tempo, just a single point lead after 2 quarters, still hard to predict
if who's National squad will control the final half and win the slot for the finals.

Same with you, that handicap might be covered for Germany if the tempo of this game remains the same.

This is the kind of game that is very exciting to watch. It does look like the Finals to me, and personally, my heart says USA. However, I'm rooting for Germany as I love an underdog to beat the top favorites, the USA. I'm currently enjoying the game while watching from my PC and might even place a small live bet just to add more excitement. Good luck to the bettors out there.
656  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Seeking Passive income offer with low risk on: September 07, 2023, 09:33:13 PM
It’s rare to see a passive income from a low-risk job. However, I think with staking, probably you will make decent profits and earn rewards with this kind of low risk endeavor. But never expect that this can be reliable and sustainable in the long run. Know that the value of these rewards don’t have guarantees to keep surging in the future, as they may rise or drop in the future.
657  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is actually a Bitcoin investor on: September 07, 2023, 08:40:36 PM
When someone has a particular wallet which he spends Bitcoins from can he be considered a Bitcoin investor?
Or does the term investor refer only to those who hodl Bitcoin?
Personally, a single person can only be called a bitcoin investor if he buys and holds bitcoin for a purpose, that is to make profits in the long run. If he invest and trade later on, then he is still considered a bitcoin investor, and at the same time a bitcoin trader. However, if he only buys bitcoin just to fill his wallet for future use, most likely he is a just a bitcoin user, not really an investor.
658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: September 07, 2023, 02:27:38 PM
Germany vs. USA will be battling in the semi-final round. Although Germany is surely an underdog, I believe this team could match the USA due to their great chemistry. Let us not forget that they are undefeated in the FIBA World Cup, while the USA has lost once. Hopefully, Dennis SCHRODER will have a good game and bounce back after a not-so-good performance in their last game. This is their ticket to the Finals, and beating the USA would give them very good momentum to face the winner of Serbia vs. Canada.

Germany though is a huge underdog, -10.5 against the US. While Canada is -5.5 against Serbia. So if there will be a close match in the semis, it will be Canada vs Serbia.

US might have to lock in Dennis the Menace and that's it, they will have a good chance to win and might cover the spread. As against the Canada that might go against a Serbian team that might be looking for an upset in this FIBA World Cup.

The spread might be overvalued, and since this is a semi-final game, I think I would just bet on the underdog here. Germany is ranked 11, I believe, before the FIBA World Cup, but they have come this far, so I would not underestimate them despite facing the USA. I always consider that the USA lost to Lithuania, and with that in mind, I think I will be betting on Germany's moneyline and its handicap.

Additionally, I will just continue betting on the underdog, not because I believe Serbia is the stronger team, but because I'd like to see Brooks cry, LOL!
659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 07, 2023, 01:30:35 PM
I think he can find his place with the Lakers, not a scoring machine but addition with their defensive arsenal, if he can adjust and find his place.

Maybe it will be a good season for him and for the Lakers. Only time can tell, though. We need to wait for them to play together and win games.

I doubt he will be so effective on defense. Christian Wood is known for his offense, averaging double digits in points per game. However, in terms of rebounds and defense, he isn't that impressive, so I think it's okay to have him, but we cannot really rely on his defense. Actually, if he were truly exceptional and his numbers spoke for themselves, he wouldn't be receiving a minimum salary, as the Mavericks might offer him a better contract.
660  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you risking investment in other things? on: September 06, 2023, 09:57:57 PM
That is my future plan, to invest into another asset that will give me passive income. However, with my present economic status, I know it will be harder for me to make it happen. So my focus is still into bitcoin and maximizing my profits on it. And perhaps I will also start learning how these stocks or gold investments may be profitable in time. That way, when I’ve gained the courage and confidence to invest, of course with good amount of capital, I can easily take some risk and expect better profits.
