Notice how you're at that stage of the argument where you're just bombarding me with your questions without even attempting to address any of mine.

Bombarding LOL, nice choice of words here comrade. I'm getting back at your original post about the evacuations and trying to understand what you were trying to say there. It didn't have any questions (unless you count WTF as a question). It sounded like you were blaming solely the Ukrainian side. Now you've confirmed that that's indeed what you are doing. Still unclear what you wanted to happen if there was indeed shelling going on, or any proof that there wasn't any shelling, but I don't expect a direct answer given your fallacious "both sides" argument. Have fun playing with your straw people.
1562  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Putin's last images are not in a palace, but in a bunker like room on: March 05, 2022, 10:33:43 PM
There is this video that some people think is fake because Putin looks like he's greenscreened into it (hand going through the microphone and whatnot).

Anyway, another thing that's weird about it is that usually he's keeping a huge distance (e.g. sitting at a hilariously long table, or across a large room like in the OP photo) from even his closest subordinates, and here just chilling in close contact with a bunch of supposedly random strangers.
1563  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: March 05, 2022, 09:45:36 PM
Sad attempt to twist the logic, both sides should let Red Cross do their job. You're not going to get good guy points by interfering with Red Cross. Are you seriously trying to claim that there will be less casualties if hundreds of thousands of people are not allowed to leave with Red Cross and instead are forced to stay in the besieged city? Then care to give an example or your definition of a human shield during a war?

LOL will you fucking stop with the "twist the logic" nonsense. Are you trying to blame Ukrainians for not allowing civilians to leave, yes or no? What were they supposed to do if there is shelling going on?
1564  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: March 05, 2022, 08:59:05 PM
WTF? As of March 5 UN estimates 351 civilians killed. Don't take pictures of people and then tell them that they cant leave with Red Cross! Trying to claim that its better for hundreds of thousands of civilians to stay in the besieged city without water or power is madness, or correct term would be hostages! The fuckery with Red Cross needs to be condemned as strongly as possible, and i don't care what side you're on.

So what did you expect to happen? Tell civilians to leave bomb shelters / basements / etc despite ongoing shelling? I get that you dislike the number of casualties and prefer it to be much larger.

Do you know what's going on in Kherson? There are videos of protests but also gunshots.
1566  Other / Politics & Society / Re: New Russian vs. West Cold War = End of USD on: March 05, 2022, 07:03:16 PM
I could say the same to you. Will you listen to me when the power goes out for one week due to "Russian hacking" false flagged by the western elite for further tyrannical consolidation of power from the masses? Or will you continue to listen to your MSM overlords that continue to lie and loot you of your money and rights without your knowledge? My sources are spot on and even future news compared to the stuff most people listen to. At least you bought BTC... If you wanted to be true normie you'd sell it all for stocks buying at sky high price Cheesy

Future news? Ok, at least now it's clear that you're just trolling. Good luck moving to Russia to get away from western tyrants.
1567  Other / Politics & Society / Re: New Russian vs. West Cold War = End of USD on: March 05, 2022, 06:42:49 PM
The president was installed by the west in 2014.

False. The current president was elected in 2019.

The western Ukraine has treated their Russian counterparts in Donbass and Luhansk like shit. They cut off their water

Water to Crimea was cut off after Russia annexed it. I think it'd be quite absurd to supply free water to a hostile state.

Another factor is that the Ukraine has been stockpiling weapons from the west: Biological, Nuclear, explosive etc

False and absurd.

Many of these weapons sites have been destroyed by Russia.

False.

Bottom line, its ok if the US and west does it like in Iraq and many other conquests/failures but not anyone else....

"but but but WMDs in Iraq"... are you serious?

You should really stop reading or watching whatever source is feeding you this bullshit.

This has been going for a year or two now. Very frustrating, especially for complex cases where it's not plain copy-pasta and you have to put a lot of effort into figuring out the origin of plagiarism that's been paraphrased / translated / paywalled / etc. Somehow some users are getting a pass even after multiple reports.

safety of fiat currencies like the secure dollar

Have you learned nothing in the past week? You can't use the dollar in your motherland anymore. Dump your dollars for rubles.
1570  Other / Politics & Society / Re: New Russian vs. West Cold War = End of USD on: March 05, 2022, 12:13:31 AM
I don't get this fascination with deranged dictators. Western "empires" might be flawed but Putin's Russia is a ginormous shithole that is barely held together by force much like the Soviet block of 1980s and will end the same way. Ironically the end will be hastened by an unwinnable war too. It's a fart in the wind for the dollar. Russia's economy is the size of Spain or Florida or whatever (not sure how many football fields that is). It can collapse tomorrow (getting there), we'll pay $10 for a gallon of gas until we stop being idiots with barn-size SUVs and life moves on.

Unless there's nukes, then life moves on without us.
1571  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian forces seize huge Ukrainian nuclear plant on: March 04, 2022, 10:03:57 PM
I haven't saw any statement from Putin similar to this.

Have you learned nothing from movies? The villain doesn't reveal the whole evil plan until the tearful good-bye scene.

I am not prone to draw conclusions, but he has been filmed on a very USSR like office, holding the conference on-line. And we are talking about a guy that just cant live without the emperor's glam. Is putting hiding in a (very nice yet sober) bunker?

Of course he is. One thing Russian propaganda is very good at - projection (possibly a result of a lack of imagination, but why waste time inventing things when you can take reality and flip it around). So it they say that Zelenskyy ran away and is hiding, most likely Putin is somewhere "safe" because you never know what hoi polloi might do to him once they get hungry and angry.
1574  Other / Politics & Society / Re: You are not on the mindictment. on: March 04, 2022, 09:12:08 PM
Welcome back, we were starting to get worried about you (well, probably not, just seems like a nice thing to say).

Do you happen to have personal experience with the "mindictments"?
1575  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 04, 2022, 08:22:45 PM
Fuck bears.

I would advise against that - it may result in more bears.
1576  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian forces seize huge Ukrainian nuclear plant on: March 04, 2022, 04:07:07 PM
You're going a bit too far here don't you think  Roll Eyes

Someone's going too far here but it's not really the OP, it's the senile KGBist in the Kremlin (or more likely in a bunker in Ural). There is no sane reason for invaders to go anywhere near the nuclear power plants.

The whole "calm down, it didn't blow up this time" nonsense is just so fucking stupid.
1577  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: March 04, 2022, 04:19:04 AM
all good

In what universe shelling a nuclear power station is "all good"?
1578  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How long ukraine could survive? on: March 04, 2022, 03:24:18 AM
Someone has to be wrong, I think it's probably the Ukrainians.

No. Both can be correct. Ukrainians are successfully resisting in some places and losing in others. Success for them is inflicting as much pain as possible for the Russian forces and if they die in the process of killing 10 invaders - so be it. Same could also be the definition of success for Putin, because he doesn't give a shit about deaths, whether it's his soldiers or Ukrainians.

Bombs can only go so far, as I'm sure anyone who's heard of Afghanistan or Iraq could tell you. Every civilian killed in bombardments etc makes 100 more sign up to fight because there is nothing else they can do about it. Compared to the motivation of the invading army this is a losing proposition for Russia, even if they capture a city or raze it to the ground.
1579  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: March 04, 2022, 12:43:47 AM
Putin has no limits, but doesn't he don't understand that nuclear disaster would hit not Ukraine only, but also big part of Russia. Especially now when wind is going towards Rostov and Krasnodar.

Well, clearly he doesn't care about a few million casualties, that much is clear by now. An incident like that might be beneficial for his delusional "plan" - look, Ukrainians launched a nuclear attack against us!!!

However if the wind starts blowing towards NATO, that raises some interesting questions. Is that an attack?
1580  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: March 04, 2022, 12:22:01 AM
Forget nukes, Putin's gonna create another Chernobyl - cheaper and easier to spin propaganda around it.

Not confirmed by a reputable source other than CCTV cameras but there's chatter on twitbook etc that Russians are attacking Zaporizhia nuclear power station and there are explosions and fires.
