“App is not available in my country or region” - I’m euro zone.
Same here. And I also agree on the amateurish approach on both website and their twitter. I mean, what's their aim if they tweet only in Czech? No offense, but that means that they don't aim global. I've found this: Na Vexlu neprovádíme KYC a je nám opravdu jedno, jestli jste Čech, Slovák, Polák, Maďar, člověk, pes, kočka, pták, ryba nebo žížala. Každý je u nás vítán! ...and it may mean that they only allow Czech, Slovak, Polish and Hungarian. But I may be wrong. If geographic location is blocked, then I'm not convinced these guys are building their DEX/marketplace on the right pillars (what stop them record the IPs, for example?) Their use of Cloudflare may also be an issue for some potential users.

we can provide all kind of escrow service with crypto.
I don't want to break the party, but the forum has quite a number of escrows with very good reputation, especially as they've handled huge number of bitcoins in the many years they're in the business. The main points of escrow are trust (ie reputation) and experience. At least on this forum, sorry, but you are too new to even discuss about trust. The only open point remains "bringing customers" for this escrow "business". But at least here, from what I know, the people offering escrow services are being contacted (privately) and they decide they can handle all that's needed to be escrow or pass. In your case (furniture), the problem can become very ugly. Let's say you are... somewhere in the world, preferably on an island with nice climate and the furniture selling business went bad. You will have to get track of the furniture that may or may not exist, that may have been received or not by the other party (and hidden) and see who will get the money. What if the furniture has been delivered and the buyer doesn't admit it and the transport company doesn't give you any papers on that (you are not a law enforcement authority and have no warrant)? What you do? As Welsh said it very good: being escrow needs skill and experience. And your example for a "job" was something that I'd expect any sane crypto escrow avoid. So no trust and imho not enough experience. Hence I'd recommend you think this all over again, much better.

Since the gambler didn't sign any paper (at the notary), the shop owner has not much of a proof that the gambler "borrowed" any of that money. Truth being told, I've never understood why some shop owners agree to give people things on debt. It's a risk that can too easily turn against them. And this is a similar case.
So on the money side, I think that the shop owner has made a mistake he has to pay for. Of course, on assault/body harm matter, both the gambler, the shop owner and both' thugs have the blame.

I advise anybody interested in this offer look first into OP's trust feedback. I don't know how accurate is that, but I certainly don't like what I see there.

In fact, I don't see any difference for myself in which way the work will be paid, if it can easily be converted into fiat without significant loss of funds for commission services. So there are no problems for those who want to spend part of their salary to buy bitcoins.
Well, this way there's no exchanges/3rd party to interfere the process, which is great because: * one may simply not like (or fear of) exchanges and P2P * less hands means more safety and less fees; if the money has came, you see it in the wallet, if it didn't, you ask the employer While for main income I'd prefer fiat (because I don't have much other means to spend than fiat), for side jobs I prefer bitcoin since (most of) it has a good chance to remain bitcoin for long. Even more, I can tell from own experience that if it wouldn't have been the means of earning Bitcoin, I would most probably have much smaller amount on my Ledger. So it's a good step for OP.

It couldn't of been this easy? Could it?
Only two steps compared are - by far - insufficient to draw conclusions that the situation/chart will be matching. As an overly simplified example is like seeing the first two numbers (1,1) in a Fibonacci and decide that the next values will all be 1. However, adding that we do expect 4-year cycles match (hence Q4 2022 should bring the trend reversal and we're close to the end of that), adding that the halving is somewhere at the horizon and adding a significant amount of hopium can make us jump to the conclusion the bear market is over. I wish you're right, but ... it's by far inconclusive data. Nice charts though.

closed source software specially one that posts stuff on github but doesn't include any source code (has only binaries) since such projects look extra shady.
After going from link to link I've stumbled upon this one, which might be the source code for nostr console app. I don't know Dart and didn't really look into those files, so maybe somebody else can confirm: https://github.com/vishalxl/nostr_consoleMeet the Bitcoiners on the new "decentralized twitter" - nostr
Um... I have a feeling that bitcointalk is just fine for many bitcoiners. So why bother with nostr?

When a man gets married to a woman to become husband and wife, they become one and everyone expects that they can get to share everything with each other. I know of women who have the passwords to their husbands bank cards and they can make withdrawals on his behalf. I will like to ask the Men here if they have shared their seed phrase with their wife's? I will like to ask the women here how they will feel if their husbands refuse telling them their seed phrase? I think that even more important than knowing the actual seed is knowing where it is and how to retrieve/use it in case of problems. While my wife is using freely my cards, she is superstitious and avoids the discussions about the backup seed of my Ledger. Luckily she knows the PIN on it too. But I expect that in many cases the people here have their own bitcoins, in some cases their partners don't even know about those (the equation might be different after marriage though).

- Event of the Year: Bitcoin in Central African Republic
....did what, exactly? Central African Republic has adopted Bitcoin as legal tender. I think it was in April. Of course, 2-3 more words about it could have been nice in the nomination.

Fiind 1/16 sansele erau chiar bune. Ce mi-as dori eu cu adevarat, insa, este un exemplar din The Times din 3 ianuarie 2009 Dupa cum se poate vedea aici, sunt doar vreo 10 disponibile in toata lumea, cu preturi cuprinse intre 250.000$ si 1.200.000$. Am incercat in multe parti sa-l obtin (inclusiv de la The Times -- care, ce crezi?, nu pastreaza arhive; inclusiv la diverse anticariate din Anglia, unde am si platit pentru a verifica in arhive etc.), insa in zadar pana acum... Wow.

Over the past few years, the crypto world has undergone numerous changes and so has cloud mining. The whole face of cloud mining has changed. Cloud mining will always be the best option to earn profits without the need to pay for equipment and related costs, and 2022 is no exception. Apart from the money making factor, by mining on the cloud platform, the risk is reduced to a great extent. And cloud mining is a profitable mining method.
Cloud mining was in 2022, like in the few past years too, a shiny wrapping over Ponzi scams in order to lure people who don't understand mining into depositing money into their scam. So: 1. Cloud mining topics have nothing to do with mining, hence no reason to stay in the mining area. 2. So called cloud mining were profitable for the scammers and unprofitable for the rest. All this being said, did you ever use a cloud mining website in 2022 and managed to withdraw? And if you didn't, what are you talking about?!

And what are the best places for that?
The best place is probably the casino you prefer. And nowadays there are options to choose from. Since I wear Betnomi avatar, I guess that it's not unnatural to show you that Betnomi too offers e-sports betting:

What kind of situation do you think is enough to pressure you in seeling some of the bitcoins you have been holding. Is family or health challenge enough reason to?
While own or family health issues are probably the cases that fit best in the scenario of selling (especially "no matter what"), not everybody on this forum is on the "never sell" boat. Not everybody have invested only some of the extra money into Bitcoin. Some even earn bitcoin and sell (some more, some less) to support themselves. So was your question meant only to the hardcore HODLers or you've missed some of the other cases?

NOTE: I am using the Australian Dollar for currency in this example ( something I can not figure out how to display on Coin Market Cap ! )
If you try to use CAD and other non-USD, non-EUR currencies, you will most probably face not only the problems of the token's price, also problems with different quotations for USD-CAD (or other currency). CMC and CoinGecko get info from various exchanges and various pairs. They may or may not care of your exchange. They may even care about the reported volumes to make certain exchanges' price be more meaningful (weighted average). Of course, the average between sell and buy price is the basis in all cases. Then, as I said, depending on what they use for converting to CAD, the differences can get even bigger. What gives ? These are huge differences if you've got large number of tokens !? Nothing spectacular. It simply means that with some luck and by looking up the right moment and the right exchange, you may buy cheaper or sell more expensive than you do at your local exchange. This is what arbitrage is made for - some traders try to even earn money from such differences. But you're at the middle, and if the spread is not too big at your exchange then you're fine. However, I'd warn that arbitrage is risky - from getting onto unknown exchanges with issues at deposits or withdrawals to slow blocks making the difference disappear by the time your money arrive to the right exchange - so be careful if you go on that path.

I wondered how they are working, like the process from receiving the payment to exchanging and sending the exchanged crypto.
Let's say you want to exchange between BTC and ETH (the default at changenow). My guess would be: * They have in their wallets some BTC and ETH. They also have at a certain (or more than one) exchange some coins - both ETH and BTC. * When your bitcoins were sent and the required confirmations have passed, their system will: 1. Exchange that amount (maybe minus some fees) at the exchange 2. Send you (from their wallets, not from exchange's) the promised amount. At a later point, they will "equalize" the funds by transferring to/from exchange as needed. But this is my guess. What they actually do there, I don't know.

As already said, the price may differ from exchange to exchange, there's no global bitcoin price. If you want historic prices, Kraken offers them, just it's not straightforward to use them - for example the date-time seems to be in Unix format, not in human readable one, plus Q4 2022 is not available yet, however, maybe this helps too. It's basically all the transactions and their timestamp. More accurate than you need. But, again, that's only one exchange. https://support.kraken.com/hc/en-us/articles/360047543791-Downloadable-historical-market-data-time-and-sales-I guess that it's the XBT pairs you'll need, in case you go on this path.
