Why buy them? to have a stake in the wallet and then sell here in the forum? Selling here because Yobit wallet offline since 2 days now! Why buy them? What is this question? With the HiPos start soon 100 coin is a good start for stake wallet working fine on yobit. Received coins today. Not for me!! From yobit: DEPOSIT PEX Wallet status: Delayed (31590 blocks) We are on block 38913 Now How many times do I still have to quote this before people start reading? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1365761.msg14397300#msg14397300

Yobit still not synchronized blocks (((deposits hanging ...
You are trying to dump coins, you should be buying instead. Big HIPOS rewards are starting soon. Hey sorry to bother you again bro but do you know how to get ahold of the Dev? Cause I PM'ed him about the runtime error I was getting and never got an answer yet from him and I want to get it running before this good staking gets going You should get yourself a Raspberry Pi. It is the staking boss.

2 nodes generated stakes close to each other and both claimed the stake. Looks like this happened to you twice. The network will accept one of each as the correct transaction. If it is yours it will turn into accepted and start to mature and the stake reward will be added to your balance. If the network rejects your transaction and accept the other node's transaction yours will turn into an orphan and you will get nothing. This means though that your coins will not lose its coinage and will generate another transaction very shortly in the next few blocks of approximately the same reward.
|
|
|
If a wallet knows it has coins in it you can send out and it will broadcast on the network. If the network agrees that the coins is in the address it will be processed and if not the network will reject the transaction. It is not imperative that the sending wallet must be on the latest block. To register an incoming transaction the wallet needs to be on the latest block if it wants to receive and process the coins. Therefore if Yobit is behind in blocks, it should be possible to send coins that it think it has in its wallets but will not register deposits until the chain is up to date on their side.

I just got back.
The wallet links, are they still the old ones?
NOPE they are the new V2.1.1.0 OK, I will check later today. I see that HIPOS has been increased at block 40k. This means that everybody needs to get these updated wallets soon. I have to ask Nightz, bumbacoin and jc12345, if they are aware of this update. Busy compiling on Pi.

I can confirm that the Raspberri Pi wallet works on the new Raspberry Pi3 running 32bit Raspbian (Jessie v8). Although the Pi3 has a 64bit CPU compared to the 32bit Pi2, they have not yet released a 64bit Raspbian version.

So we are half way through HIPOS now??
I have lost 50% of staked coins to orphans.... Brutal
Cute! And I haven't received a single stake during that entire time....running 24/7 too. I only have 1.2 Pex in there but I should have gotten something by now....it states it's staking but I'm not receiving any stake. I did receive one stake before HIPOS but that wasn't accepted....It's not working like I thought....My other coins are staking and they aren't even considered HIPOS....I'm a little disappointed but glad I was wise enough not to invest more. Your coins have to gain enough weight on the network. Smaller blocks take longer. Since this is percentage based, once you eventually stake you will earn the interest on the whole time. When you stake you will get the reward based on the reward percentage at that block, meaning that if it happens at 10000% you will get it at 10000% for the whole time. If it flows over into the 9000% you will get paid at 9000% for the whole time your coins matured. Have you prepared your input blocks properly? Have you followed this advice?
|
|
|
There is no reason to change the reward schedule. Everybody's interpretation of how things will play out makes the whole thing more interesting. If you make things too obvious and lopsided everyone will get to the same conclusion and it will be game over because all participants will action in the same way because the outcome is clear and forced to be a certain way.

Don't know what is HiPoS, but for me that mean HIGH PoS reward! Tell me if i'm wrong. That can't happen because PoW still running or maybe if all miners stop mine this we can have our PoS block rewards. It's not a HIGH PoS coin.... Sorry
Whenever a POS block is hit after block 20000 high POS is applied. It is in the code and you can verify it in the block explorer. Regarding the POW, POW and POS can run simultaneously. If there is a bit of a side wind the football game continues. It makes things more interesting and provides a safety net. Rules are rules and the wallet has to apply the rules and remember your rewards accumulate in line with the rules coded into the wallet. Just be patient. Extract from the code. // proof of stake rewards. POS begins at block 1000 int64_t nSubsidy = nCoinAge * COIN_YEAR_REWARD * 33 / (365 * 33 + 8); // 10% yearly interest if(pindexBest->nHeight < 10020) { nSubsidy = nCoinAge * COIN_YEAR_REWARD * 33 / (365 * 33 + 8); // 10% yearly interest } else if(pindexBest->nHeight < 20000) { nSubsidy = nCoinAge * COIN_YEAR_REWARD * 33 / (365 * 33 + 8) / 2; // 5% yearly interest } else if(pindexBest->nHeight < 30000) { nSubsidy = nCoinAge * COIN_YEAR_REWARD * 33 / (365 * 33 + 8) * 1000; // 10,000% yearly interest } else if(pindexBest->nHeight < 40000) { nSubsidy = nCoinAge * COIN_YEAR_REWARD * 33 / (365 * 33 + 8) * 900; // 9,000% yearly interest } else if(pindexBest->nHeight < 50000) { nSubsidy = nCoinAge * COIN_YEAR_REWARD * 33 / (365 * 33 + 8) * 800; // 8,000% yearly interest } else if(pindexBest->nHeight < 60000) { nSubsidy = nCoinAge * COIN_YEAR_REWARD * 33 / (365 * 33 + 8) * 700; // 7,000% yearly interest } else if(pindexBest->nHeight < 70000) { nSubsidy = nCoinAge * COIN_YEAR_REWARD * 33 / (365 * 33 + 8) * 600; // 6,000% yearly interest } else if(pindexBest->nHeight < 80000) { nSubsidy = nCoinAge * COIN_YEAR_REWARD * 33 / (365 * 33 + 8) * 500; // 5,000% yearly interest } else if(pindexBest->nHeight < 90000) { nSubsidy = nCoinAge * COIN_YEAR_REWARD * 33 / (365 * 33 + 8) * 400; // 4,000% yearly interest } else if(pindexBest->nHeight < 100000) { nSubsidy = nCoinAge * COIN_YEAR_REWARD * 33 / (365 * 33 + 8) * 300; // 3,000% yearly interest } else if(pindexBest->nHeight < 110000) { nSubsidy = nCoinAge * COIN_YEAR_REWARD * 33 / (365 * 33 + 8) * 200; // 2,000% yearly interest } else if(pindexBest->nHeight < 120000) { nSubsidy = nCoinAge * COIN_YEAR_REWARD * 33 / (365 * 33 + 8) * 100; // 1,000% yearly interest } else if(pindexBest->nHeight < 130000) { nSubsidy = nCoinAge * COIN_YEAR_REWARD * 33 / (365 * 33 + 8) * 90; // 900% yearly interest } else if(pindexBest->nHeight < 140000) { nSubsidy = nCoinAge * COIN_YEAR_REWARD * 33 / (365 * 33 + 8) * 80; // 800% yearly interest } else if(pindexBest->nHeight < 150000) { nSubsidy = nCoinAge * COIN_YEAR_REWARD * 33 / (365 * 33 + 8) * 70; // 700% yearly interest } else if(pindexBest->nHeight < 160000) { nSubsidy = nCoinAge * COIN_YEAR_REWARD * 33 / (365 * 33 + 8) * 60; // 600% yearly interest } else if(pindexBest->nHeight < 170000) { nSubsidy = nCoinAge * COIN_YEAR_REWARD * 33 / (365 * 33 + 8) * 50; // 500% yearly interest } else if(pindexBest->nHeight < 180000) { nSubsidy = nCoinAge * COIN_YEAR_REWARD * 33 / (365 * 33 + 8) * 40; // 400% yearly interest } else if(pindexBest->nHeight < 190000) { nSubsidy = nCoinAge * COIN_YEAR_REWARD * 33 / (365 * 33 + 8) * 30; // 300% yearly interest } else if(pindexBest->nHeight < 200000) { nSubsidy = nCoinAge * COIN_YEAR_REWARD * 33 / (365 * 33 + 8) * 20; // 200% yearly interest } else if(pindexBest->nHeight < 210000) { nSubsidy = nCoinAge * COIN_YEAR_REWARD * 33 / (365 * 33 + 8); // 10% yearly interest }

Ok thanks
Time will tell.
Now this will be the same with any staking coin? I assume you do this same process with all your staking coins?
The basic principles are the same but the recipe and execution thereof differs from coin to coin based on criteria like coin specs and your goals. There are a bunch of attributes that impact the strategy and therefore each strategy is unique in order to achieve the objectives you set for the specific coin. It is like painting a picture : each painting is unique but you will most of the time use a paintbrush, paint, easel and canvas and basic rules like color theory.

I have had nothing for any type of super staking. I take it it is not working for this coin?
Anyone else?
It is working alright. If you followed this advice you would have received a super stake within the first 50 blocks after HPOS kicked in. It is all about preparing your input blocks properly in line with the coin specs, preparing them timely, nurturing them properly and pulling the trigger accurately. Ok thank you I think I did it correct When I go to "send coins" then "Input" I now see a 1 beside my amount where as I saw a 6 before I sent the coins to myself Thanks for the explanation You will see that your one chunk input block will gain weight much quicker and result in a quicker POS stake.

POSEX is in HIGH DEMAND,
Right now, 10 members are mining POSEX at Tekyboy POOL, with a combined HASH exceeding 70 TH.
The proceeds with staking far outweighs the cost of POW mining during this phase tbh. Up to block 20000 it was the other way around with PEX mining even outperforming BTC mining with a significant margin. With 1 THs you can get about 0.5 PEX every 4 hours. That is about 3 coins per day. If you rather put your effort into staking you can make more than 3 coins per day. There must then also be willing buyers of course. I foresee the free coins becoming irrelevant soon and POW mining to be just a tool to move the chain in case of need.

why on yobit the wallet there says .. DEPOSIT PEX Wallet status: Delayed (15345 blocks) so i can not deposit my buy.s there in my wallet wallet is 100 % oke here... Yeah I saw that to, ignore it, coins still come through. I tried to deposit to yobit Deposit has been stuck in limbo now for about 9 hrs. I messaged them but still nothing i even gave them the blockchain up untill around block 17k along with the peers.dat but seems yobit doing what yobit do good IGNORANCE IS NOT BLISS, Especially in this world. I personally think they have been playing the market Since both Yobit and Chainz are stuck at the same block I doubt there is any foul play at Yobit. Also and most importantly, fairglu from Chainz is highly trusted and a top notch guy so there must be another issue that caused both Yobit and Chainz to halt processing of blocks at the same block. Furthermore since it is Easter weekend, give them the benefit of the doubt as they might be on leave and their systems processing on autopilot for these few days. It is unfortunate that Yobit is stuck during the transition to 20000 as it removes some of the dynamics, but I am sure over the next day or so both will be sorted. Since everyone else's wallets and chains are running smoothly, sit back, buckle up and enjoy the ride since the cart of the roller coaster is at the top of the track and moving closer to the edge.

What about the idea of making the POS? As far as I know, such cryptonight coin has not yet been.
Agreed, it would be so much better! coz no xchange so far n these coins just chillin here n there Remember that no1 priority must now be to get a block explorer. Find out who makes Cryptonote/Cryptonight block explorers or ask talented coders to help creating one. The other ideas posted can be made into a list. Right at the top until it is there is a block explorer.
