1601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: October 27, 2022, 10:42:46 AM
SMB won the game, that's their 2nd consecutive win. Decent contribution by their import with 25 points and 16 rebounds, and the locals are also helping as well as they played hard to get this big win. Looks like SMB now had already found a reliable import, once Fajardo comes back, they'll only become better.

That's SMB, you'll know they'll not miss the playoffs so despite of a bad start, they are now recovering with these good wins. Their import has a great contribution and at the same time he is also a great teammate, that's already good enough to make the team better even without JMF.
We don't know when he would come back to play, but it doesn't matter as long as SMB are winning, they'll still be in the playoffs.
Big man problem? Well, I guess they have replacements of Fajardo, the most important is to have an import that as good as Brownlee I guess.

Anyway, let's talk about the games tomorrow.

1- converge vs TNT

2 - DYIP vs Ginebra, whatever the spread, I think I'll still take the Ginebra spread.

If converge will be the underdog, I'll be taking the point spread, coverage has been playing well too.

Ginebra spread? I agree with you, DYIP seemed lost their passion already.
1602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: October 27, 2022, 09:45:12 AM
Final score: 134-105 in favor of Phoenix Suns, it was a 29 point play and the Suns have won all 4 quarters without giving the Warriors a chance to have their own turn. Klay Thompson was ejected on the game after playing less than 20 minutes because of their heated conversation with Devin Booker.

What happened to the Warriors? they lost to the Suns by this big margin. I can't believe it, looks like the Warriors are not in synch, and they are shooting a very low percentage in the 3-point area which was supposed to be their strength, 10-35 from 3 point area, can't believe it.

When is the next game between this two teams? hehehe. Looking forward for the Suns to travel to Golden State and for sure they will not let this one just go specially by the big mouth of Devin Booker.

First time that Klay was ejected, and he has the facts though, he has 4 rings as compare to the Suns team who hasn't one, Lol. So this is going to be very competitive West side with the Warriors or at least top teams barking on Golden State and trying to prevent them from winning back to back.

Their next match-up is scheduled this November 17 but the Warriors are still be playing at the Suns home, after that, there's a January game where the Warriors will host the game. I'm sure even if they will be playing at Footprint Center, the Warriors will bounce back especially Klay, it will be an interesting game because Klay will get his revenge for sure.

Klay will not be ejected this time, and I'm sure he will play better, might probably lead the Warriors to a big win as he as a champ would certainly try to make a statement. The warriors now are not as impressive as before, so they need to make some adjustments since they don't have a problem anymore with their roster, they are already a healthy team.
1603  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC PUMPED EXACTLY AS PREDICTED! on: October 26, 2022, 09:59:36 PM
Analysis: WHAT'S NEXT?! + Crypto Market Analysis Today https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LsyjoEk-JbA

Previous Analysis: BITCOIN TO $24600 SOON! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5CLmwNqaQ50

Good thing I didn’t let go of my BTC as I am doing DCA (dollar-cost averaging) with it. Also I hold a little bit of Ethereum too and didn’t sell it.

But we’re not sure if the bulls can keep the momentum going. Not sure what is the real factor behind the “green” day that we have today, but a pullback would be likely if the trend is just short term.

There would be traders who bought at $17k to $19k might sell it that would result for the price to pull back a bit. It’s going to be interesting to see where the market goes after the end of the week.
Seeing the current price pump makes me even more excited on where bitcoin price could go. Although this is a sudden increase but we know bitcoin is definitely heading for it. So we don’t have to worry about this, though we may encounter a bull trap in the end but it’s fine as long as we never get tempted to sell, instead hold tight for future profits.
1604  Economy / Speculation / Re: My advice to you regarding bear markets. on: October 26, 2022, 09:45:13 PM
As a first post I wanted to try and motivate people in the community. If at least one person will be motivated by this post, it is a win for me!

Clearly, by the LUNA fall and then we are experiencing a bear market. No one can deny that.

I have been in the space since 2017 - I wasn't just too bored to write here, since now  Grin - and I have seen a lot of ups and downs from the market all this time.
It is obvious that people are losing attention when the market is down and they try to grab opportunities from serious even from scam projects during a bull market.

I just want to say to all the members that will read this that a bear market doesn't say anything about your investment. In the long term you are going to reap profits from the coin you have selected, especially if your coin is a well established one with developers with experience and passion for crypto evolvement.

A hint for that is the growth of Bitcoin through the years.

Bitcoin ROI is at 13820.78% right now, cosindering the fact that the price is pretty low right now it can still explode.

Keep accumulating crypto and you will reap the rewards in the future!

My best advice is to never be afraid of taking risks. Even if the market is in a bearish condition, that won’t stay forever. As they’ve said, there’s always a rainbow after the rain. So never stop accumulating bitcoin especially when the price drops more, as the more you have bitcoin, the higher the profits you will achieve. Also, always have a positive mindset because that will be a great motivation to keep you going.
1605  Economy / Speculation / Re: There will be more down - bearish on BTC on: October 26, 2022, 08:59:14 PM
As previous trends , logically.

we had our BTC top 1 year back(69000$). So after one year we can not expect another ATH going to happen. Market need sometime for next momentum. Even other markets too.

If we guess that we can expect next market preparation  after next halving ,. Hence , we have exactly 1 year and 5 months.

Clearly can see consolidation area in next year(2023). So definitely we can grab , more buying opportunities rather now.

We had Bull market , Now we are at the end of the bearish momentum. Consolidation area is incoming.

This is my market reading. I know everyone does have different opinions. Lets share

Well if you have been in the market and have seen previous cycles, yes the catalyst for the next bull run is the bitcoin halving, and it is still very far.

Consolidation has been happening in the last 4 months, the price has been trading sideways, we might as well take that advantage and accumulate.

For 2023, yeah, maybe we can see lower lows for this bear market, there are predictions that it could be around $10k-$15k, but we will have see.
It’s not a problem actually if bitcoin will create possible lower lows by next year because it only means our opportunity to buy bitcoin and other coins is extended, thus giving us greater chances to be profitable when the final bull market is here. Although it’s still uncertain if we will witness a new all time high after bitcoin halving, but whatever it is, we should still not resort into panicking as it will only bring a total loss for all of us.
1606  Economy / Economics / Re: 76% of Adults are Making Lifestyle Changes to Prepare for a Potential Recession on: October 26, 2022, 08:41:10 PM
Please share your personal experiences on how people in your country are preparing for or dealing with a recession.

With the continuous weakening of our local currency and continuous climbing of inflation rate, people here don't care anymore if a recession will happen. I live in a 3rd world country so most of the people here just go with the flow on their daily living. Minimum wage is not enough to sustain oneself since prices of basic commodities have shoot up to the point that whatever saving techniques you do, it is not enough. Only the people that belongs to middle-class and above are able to prepare if a recession is bound to happen soon.
Well, with poor people they are always facing a recession even before so this is certainly not new to them. In fact, it becomes harder for them to survive these days seeing the never ending price inflation. However, for middle class and rich people in society, most likely they focus more on investments right now and limits their spend in fiat because that will enable for them to see growth and development in their investments. Otherwise, they will end up suffering too from this endless inflation effects.
1607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does everyone want bitcoin to be stable in price? on: October 26, 2022, 08:19:28 PM
In my opinion, it is better to keep it that way because this is the reason why traders and investors makes the courage to invest here and do trading. May the consequence is too risky for them and also for those who accept Bitcoin as payment but actually, we see Bitcoin is growing. With the volatility of the market makes it more profitable for the holders.

Likely, this is a shared opinion but I believe there is nothing we need to change the nature of the market. What just we need is the adoption of how the way it works.
I don’t see it losing too its volatility either and stick to its stable price. If this will happen, for sure a lot would lost their enthusiasm in bitcoin knowing volatility is the main thing that drive us crazy particularly when bitcoin price reaches its new ATH. Yes, having volatility is a big risk, but no one gets to the most exciting point and gets the biggest returns when we always avoid taking some risks.
1608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does altcoins actually have the potentials of generating benefits to investors? on: October 25, 2022, 09:54:03 PM
As a beginner into the trading business, I'm always scared of putting my money into altcoins but I do hear some people talk about how they make profits altcoins...

You need to understand that if you have a small capital, then it does not make sense for you to invest, since this is a long-term process during which you will be able to increase your capital. In this case, the best solution would be to trade altcoins, which are more volatile and can give a profit in the short term. But in any case, you need knowledge in order not to lose your money.
Trading altcoins will only be profitable if you also go for good and reputable altcoins. Otherwise, you will fall for those too good to be true altcoins and left you losing in the end. So definitely, whether you trade in altcoins or bitcoin, the risk is always there. But if you have enough capital, then chose to trade on bitcoin since it will most likely to give you good profits at the end of the day.
1609  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Effective strategy to get crypto news. on: October 25, 2022, 09:30:42 PM

I think I'm not the only one facing these problems, but I may be overlooking something, given I'm new in the space.

You don't.need to worry too much about that because you seem to. There are different news that you can follow just like in outside crypto and on cryptocurrency related information, you have variety which is spicing things up. News for cryptocurrency is not in single fold, you have to research on more site to be certified or you join telegram grow that releases the information on cryptocurrency but be careful about the monetary request that they will make.
Why would be paying up on those TG groups just for the news or events? Current crypto news site would be that enough if you are really that something looks for news and events.

It is a matter of some putting up effort and time on surfing out or accessing these things or checking it out if you are really that goes into fundamentals or just simply does like on

being updated on the current crypto events or news that we do have in the market. There are people whom do really love on making theirselves get updated
on whatever is happening around.VIsiting common known cryptonews site Ex. Coindesk and lots are relevant into this regard.
You can also check CoinMarketCap or coin telegraph for effective news sources. And even this forum alone will also contribute a lot of help when it comes to crypto news as there lots of reputable members who always start a thread based on the current news and trends in the market. So it’s always a matter of digging news and events in all reliable resources so that you will get updated on the crypto market.
1610  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I made a mistake shorting BTC at 17k on: October 25, 2022, 08:58:16 PM
If you don't want to look on this thread a few years later, and laugh for considering $20k expensive, I recommend you buy back. Selling bitcoin at $17k with $20k as current market value doesn't seem a "huge mistake". However, if the price doubles, triples etc., you're about to regret it.

Also, rainbows make sense until they're broken, same as with S2F.
Well, I don’t see it a huge mistake too because for me, it’s like a common mistake everyone is doing. You just have to be patient to wait for another dump price and it will be very possible this time since we are still in a bearish market. Bitcoin may seen pumping at the moment, but believe me it will always fall back again at any certain price. That’s the time you’ll decide if it will be a good price to buy or just wait for another dump price.
1611  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is anyone buying right now because they think we are at or close to the bottom? on: October 24, 2022, 10:00:05 PM
Is there anyone buying right now because they think we probably will not go much lower and don't want to miss out at these low prices?

I am not talking about people who are averaging down or doing their weekly small bitcoin purchases, I am talking about people who are actually converting their cash into serious bitcoin holdings, or increasing their bitcoin holdings by a large amount.

There are always opportunities every time the market value drops as it’s the perfect time to buy and hold for future profits. So it’s not a surprise if people will come into the market and increase their investments because they always look for long term profiting. And if you aim for that, now is the best time to invest and just hold your patience and always be motivated with positivity because that will help you to get through throughout the bearish market.
1612  Economy / Economics / Re: Running a successful business in most developing countries on: October 24, 2022, 09:45:11 PM
Conclusion
Establishing a business will make you the boss of yourself and will also save you from the risk of unemployment but this doesn't come easy as alot of challenges may surface doing the process. Government policies and some other factors may want to kill the business but with passion, hardworking and keeping the above dos and don’ts can help you in sustaining on your new business.
No matter how small the business I have, then I am the boss, but no matter how big the position I get in other people's companies, then I am their subordinate.

I know that it is not easy to be the boss of our own business without being equipped with the skills, knowledge and capital. It is difficult to get success in a small business without maximum effort and other things that support its progress. Partners are another way to make this business grow, I think it should be in the development plan.
Regardless if you own it solely or plan to have a business partner in the future, maybe the best thing to do is to give your best efforts to your business and as much as possible, never stop learning and keep on applying constant improvements in your business for its future growth. Although lot of struggles may arise in the process, but if you have passion and determination to grow your business, you will always do things that won’t make it fail.
1613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: October 22, 2022, 01:26:40 PM
I'm happy that he ain't gonna spend the rest of the year reflecting on what he had done in the past when he almost have the shot on undisputed title with Inoue. This is much better for him rather than forcing himself to shrink at a certain weight needed that he'll surely struggle. In this weight class, I hope have no issues because he needed to climb through the ranks if he still want to be a belt holder.

Should be no problem now on this weight division but hopefully, that gastritis won't ruin the fun here. That medical condition is unpredictable and Casimero can be hit with that anytime. But this time I think they are more prepared and during the time when they are almost close fighting against Paul Butler, he seems healthy at that point.

Casimero has no room for losing this match. If he loses here, I think it's better to just retire or people should not expect to him anymore.

He will not lose if he is healthy, prior to his disqualification in the Butler's match, we were expecting that he will win, in fact, he was the heavy favorite to win but unfortunate things happened and he was stripped of his belt. Now, he is coming back, and though it's not a big fight it's already good for a start, so I'm very optimistic that he will win here and he will start building his name again, that hype has to grow for him to have a big fight again.

I agree, he will not lose on this one as he is determined more than ever to show to the fans that Quadro Alas is one of the faces of Philippine boxing. Getting the weight is expected to be not a problem anymore so all he has to do now is train hard and be focused on the fight and don't think of the future fight with Inoue, one fight at a time.

Odds are not released yet but for sure Casimero would be the heavy favorite to win this one, I just hope that ring rust won't be an issue here as he is out of the ring for more than a year I think.

There should be no problem with his weight here as he already move higher, let's hope that he trained hard for this one because winning alone is not enough, he needs to win convincingly like a KO to be exact so his name will become popular again. Maybe continue the trash talking as he is very effective on that, but as always, make sure he maintain himself fit and ready to fight.
1614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terence Crawford vs David Avanesyan December 10 on: October 22, 2022, 12:39:18 PM
This is very disappointing and not only because Spence vs. Crawford will not happen. It is very disappointing that Crawford is not fighting someone who is ranked higher than Avanesyan like Boots Ennis or Vergil Ortiz. This is only another boxing event that is promoted very much similar to ICO scamcoins.
Haha, you really compared this to scamcoins? Well, I understand the disappointment mate, but we have no choice, at least we have one that no fight at all this year. I'm expecting an easy win by Crawford here, hopefully another KO so it will be entertaining to watch.

Paying to watch this fight will certainly be a waste of money.
We can always find a way to watch this fight without paying, so don't bother.  Smiley
1615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you win big in casino, would it be publicized? on: October 22, 2022, 12:05:39 PM
Most of the casinos ask for our username or alias, I think it's okay if they'll publicized it as long as our real name will not appear. I mean, when gambling, we would appreciate if they will give us privacy and that includes keeping our information private. That way, it will protect our safety and casinos would also be safe in case the name of the winner will caught the attention of the authorities.
1616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: October 22, 2022, 11:22:55 AM
Anyway, do you guys catch the Jazz ML? That team is very surprising, Clarkson and company are playing very well.
It's also Markkanen. He is showing greatness from Eurobasket up to NBA, all he needs is this break unlike when he was at the Cavs.

These underrated players will shine with the Utah Jazz because there's no star player in them, the only old or veteran players here are Clarkson and Conley, both are doing pretty well so far, especially Clarkson. Also, Sexton has not explode yet, he had some great season with the Cavaliers last season, he'll bring it here for sure.
1617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: October 22, 2022, 06:49:05 AM

About the chances of him meeting Casimero in the future, it's possible although Quadro Alas needs to start building his rank in the Super Bantamweight.

And as for the experienced watching Casimero, he's always on a mission where he wanted to earn his spot.

Though it's no longer the same weight where he manages to dominate and win the belt, it's another challenge for him
beating stronger opponents.

The chance for meeting Inoue will be there after he accomplished establishing his resume from this new division that
he choose to move,.

It will take time for him but he will get there for sure, he just need to win every fight, including this comeback fight of course as it's a huge step for his new journey. After Inoue will win, he will be moving up and that again he will meet Casimero, and hopefully he will go for a match.

They will definitely have to meet somewhere and it could be in the next division. As we already know, Casimero is moving up to 122 pounds and will face a opponent in December, so he will have a first crack in this division and hopefully he can carry his power.

While Inoue's mission is to unify the 118 pounds, don't know when was the last time we have seen a unified champion here, but in any case this is already an accomplished in Inoue's young career and then he goes up to 122 pounds and maybe he will see Casimero finally in that weight class.

I think they are destined to fight, no matter how Inoue will evade Casimero, the time will come when he will have no option but to fight Casimero. If he really is a real champion, he should fight anyone who likes to challenge him as long as the fighter is eligible to fight. Casimero also has to make sure that he will not make stupid mistakes again so he will continue to be successful in this higher division.

Haven't been here for a long time. What sports book you guys use?
Try Stake. Go to the sports section and basketball and just go through under the Philippines and you'll see the upcoming matches that you can bet for.

Thank you for this. Is it better than cloudbet?

Based on my experience, stake is better than Cloudbet, but it's still based on individual's experience. Both gambling sites are legit, no negative feedback from the community, so you don't have to worry with your money when using these sites, of course, both offered PBA odds.

We have two games today, please share your picks.

1st game, Bossing vs Giga
2nd game, ROS vs Bolts

That game between the Blazers and SUns are insane, it almost went into a double OT. Smiley

Lillard was still Lillard but this current team seemed playing well and they enjoy playing each other.
The hero of the game was Simons, his go ahead shot gave the Blazers a win, congrats to the winners, that ML was sweet.
