Like anything in life most people are not perfect or perceived an expert when they start a new skill or job. Practise makes perfect, as the well known saying goes. Work hard & listen to others who can give good advice until you are competent & able to carry out the task(s) on your own.

1622  Other / Off-topic / Re: Video shows train hitting Colorado police car with person handcuffed inside on: September 27, 2022, 07:44:59 PM
I saw this & I really hope the woman can recover from her injuries. Absolute grade A misconduct by the officers involved, they should be fired immediately.

How can something like this be allowed to happen, it’s outrageous. Hopefully the woman injured sues the hell out of the police force.
1623  Other / Archival / Re: Don't worry, bitcoin is cyclical on: September 27, 2022, 04:16:48 PM
Yep 4 year cycles are still valid. We’re in the first year of a bear market, 2023 will also be bearish. Expect green shoots of recovery in 2024 as we move towards the halving. Things start to move up Q3 & Q4 of 2024 followed by epic up during 2025.
1624  Other / Off-topic / Re: Too late on: September 27, 2022, 03:03:02 PM
I hope not, OP but if you know this kind of stuff then what are the winning lottery numbers for the next draw? Cheesy

I do believe some people have this type of power but it’s very rare. Probably something like less than 100 people in the whole world are capable of it.
1625  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to buy bitcoin on: September 23, 2022, 08:37:44 PM
www.coinbase.com
www.kraken.com
www.bitstamp.com
www.bittrex.com
www.ftx.com

All the above are trustworthy & you won’t have any problems. I prefer to go with the tried & trusted, no risky P2P sites.

Congratulations OP, now is not the time to stop though. Keep accumulating, you can always add to your stash. Dollar cost average every single month, keep going. Nobody has enough bitcoin.
1628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Few crypto thoughts of the day on: September 23, 2022, 09:02:09 AM
1. The minimum deep that BTC dived to was 17,500$ do you still think we are going below 13,000$? If yes please explain.
2. Does it matter if you build a crypto portfolio at 15k per BTC or 10k per BTC.
3. In 2020 covid was the reason why BTC crumbled to 3,500$ what will happen in 2023 that will bring the same deep dive to crypto market.
4. Crypto keeps looking stronger every year, it's getting more recognised and big players of the world are saying BTC is a better store of value than the dollar for long term, are they right.

1. I think we’re going lower, maybe $12,000 to $15,000. Reasons are the global financial situation. We will be in a deep recession, people can’t even afford to eat or pay bills so investing is low down in peoples priority. Some people may be forced to sell bitcoin to live. Bitcoin still follows mainstream markets reactions unfortunately, when stocks dump we dump.

2. It doesn’t matter if you buy bitcoin at $10,000 or $25,000. You won’t care when it’s over $200,000 this decade.

3. As mentioned above, the global financial mess we are in + COVID repercussions + war in Ukraine.

4. Bitcoin will be worth more than $1,000,000 in our lifetime. That’s all you need to know.
1629  Other / Off-topic / Re: do you thing human equal? on: September 23, 2022, 07:56:01 AM
All humans are equal at birth, when they exude innocence. Obviously serious criminals don’t deserve to be treated the same as a young child etc.

Every law abiding citizen should be treated equally though, I am a firm believer in that. Black, white, asian, rich or poor etc, we are no different. Nobody is any better than anybody else.
1630  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm seriously considering starting a website to stop Greenpeace's bitcoin FUD. on: September 23, 2022, 07:11:59 AM
It’s really irritating but in reality their attempts at a coup will not work. Any true bitcoiner will totally reject tgeir shitfork. I will gladly accept & dump their forked shitcoin on the market. It’ll be like the fork wars back in the day, they’ll be dumped into irrelevance.

These people just do not get what bitcoin truly is & what it stands for. They can all fork off:)
1631  Other / Off-topic / Re: Anyone watch horror movies? on: September 23, 2022, 06:42:58 AM
I like the saw

Saw series was great, I even enjoyed Spiral but didn’t think it was as good as the originals. minerjones suggested some good new ones which makes me happy. I always think that the modern horror movies are lacking in quality so will be good to check these out.
1632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ex- Chancellor Rishi Sunak Could be Satoshi Nakamoto ! on: September 21, 2022, 12:12:58 PM
Absolutely no chance in my opinion, I absolutely do not believe it likely that Sunak is Satoshi. He doesn’t seem the type to be such a pioneer, he’s just a cog in the fiat elite wheel.

1634  Other / Off-topic / Re: Here is what to do if you're beginning to turn into "zombie" on: September 21, 2022, 09:19:20 AM
Really odd post OP, I’m not sure what you’re talking about in the first part of your thread. However I do love zombie movies, that’s the reason I clicked on the thread. I do believe that a zombie outbreak is possible. I mean look what happened with COVID. Who knows what is being made in labs across the world. It’s possible something could get out & that really would be an actual pandemic to worry about.
1635  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nobel prize for Satoshi. on: September 21, 2022, 09:17:11 AM
He does deserve one but these awards usually are only granted posthumously. Also, I don’t actually know how it would be given to Satoshi as he’s anonymous & it most likely isn’t even his real name. It’s a great idea & I would love him to get the recognition he deserves but I don’t think it’s possible. He probably also doesn’t even want it as part of the reason why bitcoin is so good is because there is no CEO, no owner.
1636  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which VPN to pick? on: September 21, 2022, 06:31:16 AM
Interesting to see so many suggestions but I find it harder to trust the less well known VPN’s. I probably prefer to go with the more mainstream choices, even though they are potentially not as good with privacy & spyware etc.
1637  Other / Off-topic / Re: Cryptoquant Premium costs $8388 per year Overpriced? on: September 20, 2022, 07:40:25 PM
Definitely overpriced, the only knowledge you need is that bitcoin still moves in 4 year cycles. Short term TA is bullshit & anything unexpected can make the price massively deviate away from what you think is supposed to happen. Halving in 2024 & moon in 2025, I won’t charge you $8388 for that either.
1638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will digital dollar be a threat to bitcoin? on: September 20, 2022, 07:38:28 PM
Digital dollar is not a threat to bitcoin, no. Digital dollar is just a stablecoin, a shitcoin. It’s the same as the regular USD, they will be able to track everything you spend. They will be able to see what you like buying, where you eat, where you hang out. It’s full on communism, straight out of China.

Bitcoin is so much better in all ways. There’s a fixed supply, you can buy what you want & nobody can stop you. Your money won’t be eaten by inflation. You can transact P2P without government surveillance.

Buy bitcoin!
1639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now it's time for staking on: September 20, 2022, 06:33:02 PM
Dude, now is really not the time for staking. It’s such a massive risk for relatively low reward (versus the risk of leaving your crypto in somebody else’s control.

Seriously just DCA during this bear market & the profits you’ll get in the next bull market will far outweigh whatever pittance in comparison, you can get from staking.
1640  Other / Off-topic / Re: Helping others shouldn't be a problem, on: September 20, 2022, 06:05:22 PM
Looking after yourself, your family & friends is the biggest priority but it’s always good to help others if you are able to. I often give to charities & I always give a few £ to homeless people when I see them sitting on the floor in my home town. Even if it’s something so small like helping an old lady across the street, helping others is important.
