1141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why The Majority Of the Population Will Embrace CBDC's on: March 16, 2023, 11:43:49 PM
The majority of the population always does what ‘the man’ tells them is good for them. The fact we are here on this forum means we are different, there is a little more substance to us.

I will reject & avoid a CBDC as best I can. I don’t want every single thing I do to be monitored. Buy bitcoin & escape the system.
1142  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A U.S drone was hitting by a Russian Jet. on: March 16, 2023, 10:26:46 PM
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-64975766

The US military has released footage of a Russian jet crashing into one of its drones over the Black Sea.
The US said the damage to the large drone meant it had to be brought down into the water near Crimea on Tuesday.
Russia denied its Su-27 fighter jet clipped the propeller of the drone, but the video appears to back up the American version of events.
It was in the Pentagon's interest to release this video - not least to verify its version of events.
1143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a treasure. on: March 16, 2023, 05:09:43 PM
Bitcoin is digital property, hard money. It’s a gift from Satoshi to the world, to save us from corrupt bankers & an ever decreasing purchasing power we have with our traditional fiat monies. Bitcoin is here to stay, I suggest you build the biggest position that you are able to.

People have to invest their fiat just to beat inflation, it’s just unsustainable. Bitcoin is the future, be part of it.
1144  Other / Politics & Society / Re: More bank recues... on: March 16, 2023, 04:59:45 PM
The cynic in me says these kind of ‘crisis’ are orchestrated, artificial if you will. The only thing I know is that fiat banking systems have a shelf life & they're probably going to be in serious trouble a lot sooner than we think.

You are not here on this forum by accident. It’s because you are a critical thinker, different to the average guy. Protect your net worth, buy bitcoin & store them in self custody.

Be your own bank.
1145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Banks are collapsing. Will Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies rise from here?? on: March 16, 2023, 03:23:42 PM
There is a tidal wave of defaults coming. This is all the result of years of money mismanagement by banks & governments. Inflation is out of control, the money printer was relentless during COVID. They literally shut down the worlds economy for 2 years. They must have known something like this would happen? Maybe it’s what tgey wanted, The Great Reset & introduction of CBDC’s. You will own nothing & you will be happy etc.

Bitcoin & other cryptos may dump with legacy markets when the shit hits the fan soon but long term bitcoin especially, with it’s deflationary supply by design will have meteoric rises in price. People will flood out of fiat & into bitcoin. It might look messy at first but bitcoin will moon as the world sinks into a great depression.
1146  Other / Off-topic / Re: The eyes and the screen. on: March 16, 2023, 03:05:59 PM
My eyes have definitely deteriorated over the years & I blame my screen time. I am guilty of being on devices & in  front of a computer screen far too often. I always tell myself I will reduce my screen time but I never do.

The 20-20-20 rule can help, have a read about it here.

1147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Early bitcoin investment for my baby on: March 14, 2023, 04:37:58 PM
Congratulations on the birth of your little one. You are a great parent & your baby is very lucky to have a caring, responsible parent. Planning for your child's future should make you proud, you are doing it all for them. I tip my hat to you.

Try to keep adding to the money you have converted to bitcoin. We all know that in 18 years bitcoin will be worth a lot more than it is now. You are doing the right thing, well done.
1148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A guy traded worth $2M of crypto for $0.05 USDT on: March 14, 2023, 02:46:51 PM
I don’t understand how he could be so dumb. What an awful mistake, I hope he can recover mentally from tgis if it was a large % of his net worth. It’s such a schoolboy error, I just can’t fathom how somebody could make a mistake like that, even under pressure.

Always be of clear mind when transacting with large amounts of money. Ignore market noise, volatility & execute orders confidently.

Once again I hope this guy is OK.
1149  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC bulls back? on: March 14, 2023, 01:23:31 PM
Really impressive breakout in recent days. I wonder if the pump is people front running a good CPI announcement by the FED today.

$26,3xx was just hit & perhaps we go even higher today. One thing is for sure, bears are in disbelief. I hope we can soon confirm the end of the bear market.
1150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETH the King of Altcoins ? on: March 14, 2023, 12:36:38 PM
Ethereum is definitely the Prince of the crypto world. Bitcoin is King & will never be challenged for top spot but Ethereum can definitely lay claim to being second in command. It’s a good coin with many trade pairings so lots of other alts run off Ethereum.

I see Ethereum having a long term, successful future. It is a safe investment which if you hold long term, i am quite certain you will be very profitable.
1151  Other / Off-topic / Re: anxiety on: March 14, 2023, 11:13:40 AM
Anxiety is a common in modern times, with the cost of living & other stresses we can be consumed by worry & deep seated panic which manifests itself in anxiety. It’s nothing to be ashamed of, it’s very common. There are a number of things you can try to combat anxiety, both natural & medicinal.

Visit your doctor if you want to take anti anxiety pills but you can also try to beat it naturally by meditating, spending quality time with family & friends, doing stuff you enjoy. You can even see a psychologist who might be able to help you with various professional therapy methods.

Regardless, you can treat anxiety, even if you can’t totally get rid of it, there are things to help.

1152  Other / Serious discussion / Re: What is self-victory? on: March 11, 2023, 05:53:53 AM
We can only ever be the best version of ourselves, that's all we can aim to be. Set realistic goals & targets to achieve in life. If you are trying to lose weight, set a target & go hit it. If you are working hard before an exam go get that pass. If you are trying for a new job go smash the interview & land that position.

Self victory is a personal thing, we all have our own private goals. Only you will know what is achievable for you. You can only be the best version of yourself so go do it.

Make your family & friends proud of the person you are, that in my opinion is self victory. You can do it, anon.
1153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Silvergate Bank to be liquidated on: March 11, 2023, 05:24:14 AM
I never even heard of this bank before the news if I am honest. Hopefully the worst is over now & the price of most coins can return to what they were before. Bitcoin has recovered to 20,7xx as I type this. We have now successfully defended $20,000 after a dip below.

I find it ironic that when fiat banks have troubles it causes crypto to dip. I guess it shows we are still new asset class(es). This weekend will be key for the price of most coins, I have hope that we can resume previous bullish momentum.
1154  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you moniter your daily expences without much attention? on: March 10, 2023, 11:19:07 PM
I have actually always been quite good at money management, it’s just something I do.
It’s not too hard today actually with fiat banking. I have a few bank accounts & they all provide internet banking services so I can see my balances & what I’m spending on easily with my phone or computer if I choose.

I actually have notifications that pop up on my phone when I buy something. Also using Apple Pay is quite easy to follow my spending trail also.
1155  Other / Off-topic / Re: A gift for my future on: March 10, 2023, 10:51:09 PM
Happy belated Birthday to you, Sir.

Good to see you treating yourself both now & for the future. I hope you had a really nice day, that $150 will be worth a lot more when you are an old man.

Today is a special day for me as I'm celebrating my birthday! And as a gift to myself, I decided to invest $150 in Bitcoin.

"Digital money will be powerful enough to change the world in the next 20 years."

Indeed, good to have you on board.
1156  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will (probably) go lower. on: March 10, 2023, 10:31:16 PM
The $ price of 1BTC is currently $20,125. This is the first proper retest of support in & around $20,000.

I think if $20,000 acts as a real support then bears will retreat & we could break $25,000 & start to confirm that the bear market is over. We should know more in the next 2 weeks.
1157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Regulations As the Catch 22 on: March 10, 2023, 10:10:12 PM
Regulations in crypto are fine as long as they are fair. I mean the SEC have been scamming us for ages, they say they protect investors. Why won’t they approve a spot bitcoin ETF then? The only people they like to protect are the elites, from competition. They approve futures bitcoin ETF’s but not spot, it’s a scam.

Look what happened with FTX for example, genuine regulations could have stopped that. A proof of reserves regulation for all exchanges could help.
1158  Other / Off-topic / Re: Your health is important! You and your health. on: March 10, 2023, 09:01:02 PM
Some great advice there OP. I agree if you can’t look after your health then you really will have problems. I took up walking when the pandemic started & there was nothing else to do.

I think regular exercise & eating well plus drinking plenty of water is a good starting point for a healthy life.

My advice is not to get too obsessed with calorie counting etc but try your best to eat well, exercise & drink water.

1159  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you know who you are? on: March 10, 2023, 08:19:34 PM
I think I know who I am & what little old me offers the world. I am not a rich man but I am a loving man & I work hard to provide & care for my family. I think in life you need to learn to love yourself before you can be happy & be the best version of yourself possible. I think being happy with yourself & your situation in life is important, I guess that is a big part of knowing who you are & what your role is.
1160  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is kyc verification dangerous? on: March 10, 2023, 07:06:29 PM
If we want to buy our crypto on a safe, well regulated exchange then we have no choice but to send our KYC. I don’t think it’s a bad thing, although I don’t like Coinbase sending customers info to the IRA. That’s one thing I really do not agree with.

I don’t see why people despise KYC so much, all I can think of is they either want to avoid taxes or potentially have dirty cash to launder or even worse they are a more serious criminal. KYC stops fraud & identity thert, in many ways it protects you.
