died-dies will go up'n'running after a few restarts and a few tries with their own specific voltage on the settings... just play around with the voltage until they will come back to life, each one is also physically different for several reasons so, very probably you wouldn't find a precise "value" that will fit them all... On the more, try to cut the exceeding thermal pads on the top of the VRMs if not totally substitute them with something more efficient... you can check the KnC hardware thread on this Forum and go back to the period when the firsts Neptunes were delivered (june-july 2014) to find some really good advices and a lot of pictures and examples too... Good Luck! Regards, up.debug There is nothing to cut . KNC "bonus miners" Cubes not have thermal pads on the top on VRM.

So, same controller as the C1 but not using the micro-SD card?
No, C1 controller uses 4 2x10 pin cable plugs S5 uses 4 2x8 pin cable plugs or 4 2x9 pin cable plugs depending on S5 model and blades.

Hashnest - We need an answerAre you planning on adding fees to the hashrate exchange?............................................................................. Hashing Code Aspects

Dear customers,
According to our latest rules, from now on, only the authenticated HASHNEST users can convert their hashing power to hashing code.
Ordinary users will not be allowed do this, and those generated hashing codes which have not been recharged will be cancelled and the corresponding hashing power will be unlocked.
And we are now planning to find some authenticated overseas agents to be in charge of the local sales of cloud hashing.
Regards.

I would pay upto 1.25x (i.e; ($340/2) * 1.25) more for something that used less power and put out less heat. So if it were $260 ($225+$35) like you said, that would be just barely above what I'd be willing to pay. I'd put up $245 (including shipping) for a half-S5.
Edit: Out of curiosity, is it possible to power only half of a S5? Say just one board instead of both?
Yes. It is possible . 1,2, 3 or 4 boards with one S5 controller. From watercooled S5

Looks like I got scammed on eBay, paid for 3 SP20Es using BTC (I know, I know..) because the seller had 100% feedback and 173 transactions. Stupid me for thinking that was enough to trust him. ...............................

Um, not sure if anyone has seen this: https://forum.bitmain.com/bbs/topics/1435A little context - a user asked about automating withdraws. From @Bitmain_Rob: from my perspective, i don't want you withdrawal. haha~ Now, this may be innocuous, but why? When I see things like this I get concerned because it screams fractional reserve. I opened neww ticket ID:#1501 2015-03-16 14:49:42 UTC I Withdraw 4.62188738 BTC Status auditing again! This happened for the second time FIX IT

If you take a look at the numbers on the hash chart, and then look at a downloaded report, the numbers don't line up.
Either the payout number is incorrect, or the maintenance fee is being charged twice.
For example on March 7th, 2015, for 3.5TH, I earned a maintenance fee of 0.019538 and payout of 0.06210498. According to my downloaded report, I earned a total of 0.02302898.
If you do the math, 0.06210498-0.019538=0.04256698, NOT 0.02302898.
You have to charge the maintenance fees a second time to get the right same result. 0.04256698-0.019538=0.02302898
Even more concerning is that when I tried to post this to bitmain talk, I get greeted with a "You have been blocked" screen.
I had to post a completely vague version of the issue to avoid getting this.
So, why exactly are numbers blocked on bitmain talk?
You got it. I got it yesterday 5x when I tried to post a ticket with image or with link to image.

I have trouble seeing why you think that pricing is a problem.
One price they send it to you. You configure, install, and maintain it.
Higher price they do all of that for you.
Only problem ist , that they promised price 380USD https://forum.bitmain.com/bbs/topics/1248Today Hashnest is pleased to announce the launch of the Hashnest Antminer S5 market. Hashnest users will now be able to purchase GH/s contracts for our latest generation of miner. All mining contracts purchased through us are pointed to AntPool, and payout according to PPLNS, which experiences variance based on pool luck. Hashnest guarantees 100% uptime, as users will be compensated by Hashnest for any instances of unplanned downtime.
The usual terms and conditions apply. It will take 72 hours after the purchase of GH/s contracts for the units to get set up and hashing away in your account. When the contract is terminated, you may redeem full miners and have them shipped to you (see below for details).
Important Info: ◾S5 Unit Price: US$380. ◾Maintenance Fee: US$0.097 / KWh ◾Conversion Period: 72 hours upon receipt of full payment ◾Downtime: 0% downtime. Bitmain guarantees 100% uptime and will incur any losses related to unexpected downtime. ◾Payout: PPLNS mining on AntPool ◾Termination: Contracts are terminated when the maintenance fee is equal to the mining revenue for a period of ten days in a row. ◾Hardware Redemption: a) When the contract is terminated, you may choose to have the physical hardware shipped to yourself; b) 1155 GH/s = one S5 machine; c) Users must bear shipping and handling cost of having machines sent to them; d) User is purchasing used hardware, the quality and hashrate of miners delivered to users cannot be guaranteed.

I emailed them about buying 50-100 units when they reopened sales at $320. By the time they got back to me it was $419 and I was told there was no discount for 100-unit sales. I checked back when they dropped the price to $369 and was still told that there was no discount for 100-unit sales. Since the 1600-unit mass purchase is priced at about $350 per unit, they're probably not in the mood to negotiate. Which is retarded because in 3 months 1.1TH at $350 is gonna cost quite a bit more than 1.1TH at $370 now especially when you factor in opportunity cost of not mining for 3 months.
ANTMINER S5 BATCH 6 - Large Buy Reservation Speed: 1600*1155GH/s Price: 283392 USD
283392 : 1600=177,12 USD + shipping
