On the more, try to cut the exceeding thermal pads on the top of the VRMs if not totally substitute them with something more efficient... you can check the KnC hardware thread on this Forum and go back to the period when the firsts Neptunes were delivered (june-july 2014) to find some really good advices and a lot of pictures and examples too... According to our latest rules, from now on, only the authenticated HASHNEST users can convert their hashing power to hashing code.
Ordinary users will not be allowed do this, and those generated hashing codes which have not been recharged will be cancelled and the corresponding hashing power will be unlocked.
And we are now planning to find some authenticated overseas agents to be in charge of the local sales of cloud hashing.

I would pay upto 1.25x (i.e; ($340/2) * 1.25) more for something that used less power and put out less heat. So if it were $260 ($225+$35) like you said, that would be just barely above what I'd be willing to pay. I'd put up $245 (including shipping) for a half-S5.
Edit: Out of curiosity, is it possible to power only half of a S5? Say just one board instead of both?

If you take a look at the numbers on the hash chart, and then look at a downloaded report, the numbers don't line up.
Either the payout number is incorrect, or the maintenance fee is being charged twice.
For example on March 7th, 2015, for 3.5TH, I earned a maintenance fee of 0.019538 and payout of 0.06210498. According to my downloaded report, I earned a total of 0.02302898.
If you do the math, 0.06210498-0.019538=0.04256698, NOT 0.02302898.
You have to charge the maintenance fees a second time to get the right same result.
0.04256698-0.019538=0.02302898
Even more concerning is that when I tried to post this to bitmain talk, I get greeted with a "You have been blocked" screen.
I had to post a completely vague version of the issue to avoid getting this.
So, why exactly are numbers blocked on bitmain talk?

I have trouble seeing why you think that pricing is a problem.
One price they send it to you. You configure,install, and maintain it.
Higher price they do all of that for you.

I emailed them about buying 50-100 units when they reopened sales at $320. By the time they got back to me it was $419 and I was told there was no discount for 100-unit sales. I checked back when they dropped the price to $369 and was still told that there was no discount for 100-unit sales. Since the 1600-unit mass purchase is priced at about $350 per unit, they're probably not in the mood to negotiate. Which is retarded because in 3 months 1.1TH at $350 is gonna cost quite a bit more than 1.1TH at $370 now especially when you factor in opportunity cost of not mining for 3 months.
