Since becoming a premium member it has made me see things in a different perspective. I used to think that the lottery ticket prizes would just be worthless because the odds of winning are so low. That is not necessarily the case. Since becoming a level 3 user two days ago I have won over 10,000 lottery tickets. If you can save up your spins for a while and then claim them all at once you can really give yourself some really good odds of being a lottery winner.
1662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gifting my little sister with Ethereum for her birthday on: April 21, 2021, 08:51:15 PM
That is a heartwarming story. I give presents to the people I care about all the time but I am just waiting for the day when they become interested in crypto so I can give them that. Usually I buy people gifts with bitcoin or gift cards purchased with bitcoin and then a few weeks later the price pumps and the amount I spent on their gift is worth a lot more. This is why sometimes it is just better to give them crypto directly.
1663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: April 20, 2021, 08:33:31 PM
We have not had any announcements yet but everything seems to indicate that this fight will happen. Crawford is already in training camp. We know he is a hard guy to please and if he wasn't fighting Pacquiao then I think he would've just waited until his contract with Top Rank expired later this year to have his next match. Maybe they don't want to be overshadowed by the Fury vs. Joshua announcement and that's why they have delayed the confirmation of this fight.
1664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Curacao license scam on: April 20, 2021, 07:39:51 PM
It's not really shocking. We know that Curacao licenses are preferred because they do not have strong regulation. Some people seem to thing that being licensed makes a casino more trustworthy but there is really no evidence that licensed casino are any better than unlicensed ones. The license is nice for marketing but it means very little with regards to integrity of the casino.

I also managed to subscribe to the "Lucky Wheel" for the first time, so I hope I will be one of the lucky people that might get something out of that. ( I think this subscription thing, should be posted somewhere on the site and not just in the emails... or did I miss it?)  Huh
I don't remember it being a subscription thing. They send daily/weekly promotional emails to those who are actively playing on the website. You play/bet more, you get more free WOF.

Isn't it that you need to have "Promotions" selected in your More > Profile > Email Subscriptions in order to receive the daily WOF via email?

Yep, you just need to be subscribed in order to receive your daily WOF. You don't get more when you play or bet more; you only get more when you have a certain amount of FUNtoken.

Today I got an extra email telling me how close I am to winning the daily jackpot, so I think there is some correlation between gambling more and getting more emails per day.
1666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 20th April dogecoin day on: April 20, 2021, 03:45:17 AM
Since the creation of dogecoin on April 20th has been celebrated as dogecoin day, a day where dogecoin fans take a day off to celebrate dogecoin. This has been the tradition since the creation of the coin in 2013.
I did not bookmark or set up an alarm in calendar to remind me about the birthday of Dogecoin. Thank you for this information. It is a reason Dogecoin rose last two days. The rise is a gift for Dogecoin birthday.

But wait, is it a joke?

The Wayback machine saves the data for first appearance of Dogecoin.com is 7 December 2013.
Some other sources don't show the birthday at 20 April. Dogecoin birthday on Reddit or History of Dogecoin on Wikipedia.

It is not really dogecoin's birthday on April 20. It is a joke holiday in the United States for people who enjoy cannabis. 420 is just a funny number and that is why it has been adopted by the dogecoin community. We also hear a lot of 69 jokes with regards to doge because this is also a funny number.
1667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING POLL ADDED] FURY vs JOSHUA: A Two Fight Deal Has Already Been Signed !! on: April 20, 2021, 12:18:37 AM
The latest news is that Bob Arum has revealed that the fight will indeed take place in Saudi Arabia. The final details are still not decided but the date of this fight will be in late July or early August. I'm sure the British fans will be disappointed they can't attend this event but it would be crazy to turn down the amount of money the Saudis are willing to offer.
1668  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tenants to pay rent with bitcoin on: April 19, 2021, 10:29:07 PM
That is a smart move by landlords to start accepting bitcoin. They don't have to put any of their own money to acquire it and they will probably make a nice profit from this. They can use what they earn to buy new properties and make even more bitcoin.

Nevertheless paying rent using bitcoin is another adoption to gain popularity and can increase the users. I think the problem is the fees that the renter will shoulder since its not cheap currently.

A $20 fee is not that much compared to what people pay in rent in the United States. The fees are also not that high all the time. You could also probably pay for multiple months in advance and that way you just pay one fee.
1669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: April 19, 2021, 08:07:41 PM
As I remembered from the previous years, Pacquiao is about to retired and end his boxing career due to his mom Mommy Dionisia is worried every time he is in the boxing ring. Well I guess it is just a rumor. For me at Pacquiao's age, he already made a good name and a good career. He already earned a lot of money. I think he is around 40 plus on the present time and I think he already did a good job. Health is very important. Every punch that he may received especially in his head is not good. Instead of pushing that fight, maybe it is better to focus on serving Filipino being a senator or being a President if he will win if he run on the next election. Being his fellow Filipino I am just concern on his health but I know I am not in a position to say this.

Pacquaio tried really hard to get a rematch with Floyd, but unfortunately for him that never materialized. After that he really tried hard for a match at Las Vegas with a decent opponent, but that too is in doubt given the pandemic situation. He knows that he has less than 12 months of career remaining and that's the reason why he is not very keen on the fight with Terence Crawford. He wants to fight a stronger opponent at Las Vegas, rather than taking on Crawford in middle east.

I still think Crawford is the frontronner to be his next opponent. There is nobody stronger in the division, except for maybe Errol Spence but that is debatable. Being on the verge of retirement I would assume that Pacquiao wants to maximize his earnings. The only way he can get the amount that he was asking for would be by fighting in the Middle East.

I made a deposit a few days ago with a very low fee but it does not look like it will confirm in time to be able to get the 10 free spins. The mempool is so full due to the recent drop in hashrate. I thought about doing a slow withdrawal and just sending it back to my FreeBitco.in account but the fees are still too high that I probably wouldn't earn that amount back from the extra spins.
1671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Ben Askren on April 17 on: April 18, 2021, 09:53:04 PM
Now they are starting to hype up a potential fight between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury, Tyson Fury's brother. This would be an evenly matched fight because Tommy Fury only has 5 professional fights and they are against fighters with losing records. He also has very little amateur experience.

Where are all the folks who said Jake Paul had no chance against a professional fighter? Seemed like he had a little bit more of a chance in there... Has this had any effect on the thoughts about the Mayweather fight? Now that it appears the “pro” fighters aren’t the gods they’ve been made out to be, are there people who will begin to give Logan a punchers chance?

I always thought Logan had a puncher's chance against Mayweather. The size difference alone should make it a very complicated fight for Mayweather. Logan Paul is not as good as his brother and Mayweather is a much better boxer than Askren so it is perfectly reasonable that most people think Mayweather should win the fight.
1672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Ben Askren on April 17 on: April 18, 2021, 05:06:44 AM
As soon as I saw the first few seconds of the fight I knew it was just a matter of time before Askren was knocked out. He did not look prepared at all. He was out of shape and his technique was really bad. Jake Paul is starting to look like the real deal but he needs to start fighting better competition. We don't need to see him in another mismatch.
1673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Ben Askren on April 17 on: April 18, 2021, 03:30:38 AM
Everyone keeps saying that YouTubers have no chance against the pros, so maybe Ben knows this and will slap Jake around. I’d be surprised if you could show up out of shape and win in a different sport than you are used to, but maybe pro fighters are that much better than newcomers. We will see soon enough...
Waiting for the fight to start, i am rooting for Ben Askren to win and he never had a good body even when he was competing in MMA but if he has not taken the fight seriously then he will get knocked out cold as anyone who knows to punch can hurt if the defense is not up to the market and if you are not training the reflexes are not going to be sharp.

I’d be surprised if he got knocked out too to be honest. I’m not sure how this will go. Such a strange matchup. I do see quite a few people streaming it for free on twitch.tv though if people were interested in watching it that don’t have access to the PPV. They should be coming on in another 20 minutes or so I believe.

I believe there is still another fight before the main event, which is unfortunate because the commentary is really bad and Oscar de la Hoya is clearly intoxicated.

Rejoice, you have won much more than other.

That is some serious dedication to have achieved more than 16k rolls. I've been on the site for many years and I have 12,709 rolls. I would probably have close to 20k rolls if I had been able to claim back then as often as I do now but I did not have reliable internet and only claimed sporadically.
1675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wyoming legalized online sports betting - crypto wagers allowed too on: April 17, 2021, 02:45:52 AM
In Arizona just this week the governor also signed a bill legalizing sports gambling. More and more states are seeing an opportunity for money to be made and are now doing away with restrictions.

We are in the 21st century and gambling is not a public safety threat so it seems like common sense that they would begin to allow it. The demand is big enough that it is certain to bring in big revenue.
1676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Ben Askren on April 17 on: April 17, 2021, 12:38:32 AM
I watched the weigh in earlier today and Ben Askren did not look like he was in good shape. He was a little fat. It makes me question how serious he is about this fight. He's not exactly facing Floyd Mayweather or another elite champion but I still feel like he should have trained harder.
1677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: April 16, 2021, 10:17:17 PM

There was already an update, they'll fight in June 5, I think that's enough for an update and we just have to wait for the follow up update. At least there's an improvement, unlike before that we are just waiting for the date and venue, now we have the date already.

What: Manny Pacquiao vs. Terence Crawford

Where: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

When: June 5

TV: TBD

That article is only speculation. We are not getting any new information that we didn't already previously know. There hasn't been any statement from anybody involved. The only thing I've seen is that Terence Crawford has already started his training camp.
1678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin Price Prediction on: April 16, 2021, 04:26:46 AM
It's crazy that this pump is still going strong. I used to own a lot of Dogecoin and I would have a good amount of money today if I had continued to hodl. I wanted to remain invested in it but the casino where I used to keep my doge on shut down so I exchanged it to bitcoin and withdrew everything. Even though I have some regrets about not holding longer there is no point in dwelling on the past.
1679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING POLL ADDED] FURY vs JOSHUA: A Two Fight Deal Has Already Been Signed !! on: April 15, 2021, 10:23:43 PM
BREAKING NEWS !!!

Hearn, the manager of Joshua has stated that the first fight is going ahead in the summer of 2021: (SKY SPORTS)

Fury and Joshua have approved the fight "site" offer and they are finalising the site deal (whatever that might mean)

The location has not been formally announced but as soon the site deal is finalised there will be a press conference.

This is good to hear. I expected them to come to an agreement sometime this week. It didn't seem like a coincidence that Hearn, Arum, and Fury were all in Las Vegas at the same time. Now we just have to wait for the official announcement to find out the venue and which country will be hosting the event.
1680  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there such thing as a “safe strategy”? on: April 15, 2021, 09:16:23 PM
There is nothing that can ever be guaranteed in crypto trading. If you look at trends then the safest strategy would be to buy bitcoin or some top altcoins and wait for the price to go up. Buying when the price of a coin is at an all time high is not the wises move because we could have a market crash and you will have to wait a few years to make a profit. It's better to do dollar cost averaging than buying all at once and hoping that the price remains bullish.
