1741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: May 10, 2022, 09:05:55 PM
PSG have celebrated their success this season because they have lifted the trophy this season, Marseille and Monaco are only 3 points adrift, from the two remaining matches Monaco can be said to still have a chance to finish in 3rd place in the standings, because they do not have a difficult opponent, while Marseille have to face ranners, Strasbourg, although Marseille has 3 points above Monaco but Marseille must not be careless, because if they stumble Marseille will lose the position in second place standings.
Marseille, Monaco, Rennes, all these guys I honestly can't tell the difference in terms of how likely they are to get results. I've been 50/50 betting on all these guys, when the odds are roughly 2x, and it seems to be just a matter of how many goals either side can score first. I'd love to see Monaco back in UCL spot though, and perhaps they'll be good enough to go thanks to qualification, so 3rd place would be enough (for now).
There is no doubt now things are very interesting for these three teams as we are heading for end of this season and these three teams are fighting hard for remaining two spots of Champions League. With tomorrow, we have very important match for Rennes against Nantes if they won then surely they will at third spot and going to face Marseille in next round which is going to decide who is going at third spot at the end of this season with Monaco is going to face Brest in 37 round.

But, last 38th round is also very interesting for these all three teams as Monaco is going to face Lens in away match Rennes is going to face Lille in away match and Marseille is having Strasbourg at home with this all most chances Marseille is going at second and Monaco and Rennes going to wait for result of their match for remaining third spot.
1742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New project success on: May 10, 2022, 07:46:55 PM
In my opinion, in order for projects to be successful and profitable. It is necessary that the idea of the project be in demand in the cryptocurrency market. And also for the project to have a team of professionals who know a lot about their work. As well as a large number of investors who would invest a large amount for the project. I believe that these are the most important components that must be in order to create a successful project.
They do need to have a really good idea, one that is of a high demand, but sometimes if it’s an idea that has lots of other projects with the same idea, it’s best to try to make some twist to your own idea so that it is a bit different or you can go for an idea that is totally different from what’s the normal in the market. Sometimes if you keep going for the same idea that a lot of other companies are going for, it wouldn’t really be helpful and the project might not succeed as people wouldn’t consider it for the fact that there has already been a project like that, so the first one will continue to best you.
1743  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin's price stabilize someday? on: May 10, 2022, 07:06:14 PM
There seems to be some series of price fluctuations in Gold, even though it gave us the illusion of stability. Anything that's speculative or traded on the open market is prone to wild fluctuations in price. Bitcoin is not exempt from this rule. While the pioneer cryptocurrency has achieved a lot over the years, it's still relatively new to the mainstream world. There are a lot of things to be improved in order for Bitcoin to become a "force to reckon" with.

Fortunately, we have stablecoins to save us during a "rainy day". As long as you're able to make a profit regardless of Bitcoin's price, nothing else matters.
The difference between gold and bitcoin is that gold used to be volatile because it wasn't digitalized and wasn't worldwide. I know most of us didn't live those times, but remember any year before 1950, or just try to imagine how people communicated between each other.

It was terribly hard, and at one point we literally had people with papers running from state to state on horses just to carry information, now I can send this message in a single second. Gold was volatile during those times of course, but hasn't been since everything has been digitalized, very small ups and downs, whereas crypto has been digital since its inception, and still having a lot of troubles.
1744  Economy / Speculation / Re: No FUDs will win the market on: May 10, 2022, 06:38:08 PM
Probably it will appear now as bitcoin is dumping, down 14% already in the last 7 days per - https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/
That's alarming if you are still expecting it will recover big time because the trend this year thus far is not bullish but bearish.

We have to go with the flow, don't contradict it, instead, we should see the opportunity in the bearish market.
The opportunities are buying the dip, that's the same strategy that are effective in the past, for sure it's still effective until now.
I do agree that there is a case to be made about current situation being FUD. What is FUD? Fear Uncertainty and Doubt, correct? Well, do people fear the current situation? I am sure many do, veterans do not because we all know that it will go up too, and then go down again, and then go up again and repeat that forever so this is just a boring and known drop that would have happened anyway and expected, however many many newbies are fearing right now, millions of them. Uncertainty? Sure, we have zero clue about what's going to happen, will it go 40k+ from here and skyrocket and this drop was enough? Maybe. Will it go down even more and be under 20k in the near future? Maybe. How about doubt?

Well, I do not doubt that it will "eventually" go up, but I doubt that it would do anything meaningful anytime soon neither.
1745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 10, 2022, 07:23:06 AM
In my opinion, Leipzig has started to recover after previously achieving poor results in the last two Bundesliga matches. With Leipzig managed to beat Augsburg with a fairly large score, this indicates they have been able to move on from defeat in the Europa League. I'm sure the Leipzig player's confidence has increased by winning against Augsburg, and they will finish the season in 4th place. Moreover, Leipzig must have realized that they must not lose against Bielefeld if they want to play in the Champions League next season. Most importantly Leipzig should not underestimate Bielefeld, even though their opponent is a weak team in the relegation zone, but if they are not careful Leipzig can be beaten
by Bielefeld.
With the fact of this Leipzig is having very good season just few mistakes give them some bad results and just because of this now they are struggling but still have very strong case for staying at fourth spot because they are going to face relegated team, and they have very poor defence which is good for Leipzig. After losing Europa Cup semifinal their players are feeling not good but right now they are in completely different situation and need to do some good work for better future.

Here with Freiburg they are going to Leverkusen which is already at third spot even they are also good but still it's not easy game for them, but good thing is happening this match is not having any impact on their position in league table.
1746  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🥳 €120 000 Booongo Tournament|⛵OpenSea BF NFT Giveaway on: May 09, 2022, 09:58:50 PM
Yeah other than staking/farming and betting, they have not added new utility to the token that actually matters to bettors (yet).
What else would you want to add ? The cashback is based on VIP level (like it should be) and all bets that you play with the BFG token are also taken into account to level up.
An example would be increasing user XP on leveling up when betting with their native token compared to other cryptocurrencies that's based on USD value of bets. Again, that's just an example and they can think of something creative that would bring new interest to the use of BFG.
I do agree that the best thing to do right now would be to add in some incentives to gamble with BFG, that way a lot more people would gamble with it. Starting with more promotions, to rewards, to lower house edge, to competitions and many more things that could be done to give people a reason to gamble with BFG over any other currency.

This means that people would be missing out on a lot more returns if they gamble with any other currency and why would anyone want that? Sure some would want to stick to their own preference, but any other gambler who wants to squeeze out the most will turn that into an advantage and make money that way for sure.
1747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I’m done with trash coins!! Looking for something promising on: May 09, 2022, 07:21:34 AM
There's no other promising coins on the space bro except of the top altcoins in the market , coz they are legitimate than what others recommendations in the space, for example a new projects which is clearly very unpredictable.
So you better to stay away to it and choose a project where you can really get good return than trying a new projects that you don't even know if you can get from it after all or not. Be smart and be wise to prevent trash coins.
Actually all cryptocurrencies that are not stable are unpredictable. Like for example bitcoin. All of us thought that the correction is over and the price will now cross over 50k but nope that didn't happen and it shocks us all that the price fall down consistently and we are now again at the new support.

Take note, bitcoin is the first and the oldest cryptocurrency so how much more those that are completely new in this field? They didn't establish their reputations yet. That is the main requirement here to stay alive. Trash coin is already in its name "trash". I don't get why someone will still pick this up? What will they get on this type of coins?
1748  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Advice for poor people who wanna get some crypto on: May 08, 2022, 10:24:03 AM
Why should you look for a free one. Actually crypto provides many opportunities for us if we are good at using it. for me nothing is free, we all have to start from capital. If you have knowledge of crypto, you can use it to participate in bounties. Of course they also deliver what they promise. You just need to study well to reap the rewards. It's hard for beginners, but that's what people who have been successful in crypto have had to go through.
I wouldn't say that it is not free, but it is not paid with money if you do not want to. I mean you could use your labour as your capital and earn that way as well. Crypto is filled with things where you can work and earn money and that means you could spend hours and earn money.

This was for example true for axie infinity up until very recently, there were some people who worked as scholars and earned a lot of money from it, literally hundreds of dollars per month, and that usually leads to people living a better life because hundreds of dollars are a lot of money in some nations. Imagine working few hours a day and earning more than most of your countrymen.
1749  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders Stop Being Greedy. on: May 07, 2022, 11:45:30 AM
Greed is of major concern in trading and other businesses as a whole. When it comes to trading I think having a stop-loss is going to be helpful in this regard. We need to have a target that when it gets to our target easily pull out but then even after getting to our target greed comes into play especially when we see that the coin we invested in is still flying high. Some would then decide to continue instead of taking profit and they end up going below their capital. This calls for discipline. Set limits, set rules for the risk you take and try to stick to them.Greed most times doesn't pay even though sometimes we might just be fortunate.
Actually not mainly in trading or other forms of businesses but greed is mostly known in gambling. This is where it originated but later on adopted on other fields. We have several threads here about stop loss and each of users have their own different opinion in regards to it but I think, one thing is for sure and that is to identify your goals first. When you are done with that, that's the time you can tell if stop loss is really helpful for you or not.

If you have set your own goal, you must follow that no matter what, happens. So what if you see the price still flying? Just ignore it because it wasn't in your plan and you never know that it was only a trap. I am sure you don't want to lose more, than what you already earned.
1750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi network on: May 07, 2022, 06:42:31 AM
This is possible a scam scheme. We all knew that a project like pi network whom doesnt really have on chain isnt a blockchain project. Also they have kyc, without any chain? So whats that a networking project? So for surr this pi inu is another hype scheme also and newbies must be warn. If they gonna make a blockchain project make sure that its somehow worth a while to invest with not like this.
I am really not getting what this project is all about, I don’t get why a project would be launched for over some years now, and still have not done anything to show that they are serious about it.

A serious project would have launched for long now, so I just don’t get why they continue to tell people to keep mining their coin when it’s really just worthless doing that, you are just mining everyday and at the end of the day you are getting nothing and it has been like years for now. So, this is definitely a scam busy stealing people’s info.
1751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's your take of NFTs? on: May 06, 2022, 05:49:29 PM
We cannot say that NFT is an investment in the sense of an investment, nor can we say that it is just noise because it has become a reality and continues to expand and spread, we can say that it is a new innovation and a revolutionary solution to some of the problems that we can encounter in Crypto especially scarcity and protection of intellectual property rights, I think it A civilized solution that corresponds to the development of the technical era, but of course there is a bit of exaggeration and chaos as well, for example there is an NFT worth nothing that was sold for millions of dollars and this is like crazy!!!
NFTs can be an art and in the real world there are people that invest on paintings and other artworks. They have a value and they can sell it later on. The same thing can also happen in NFT. It is a noise because it's a new thing but along with that, there are scammers that will use the noise to take advantage and gain something for only for themselves.

NFTs might started only as a concept and many people speculated it but now it becomes a reality which makes those speculators happy because finally their wish has come true but those that didn't expect this NFT, they are the ones that usually hate it. They think NFTs are just another useless addition in the crypto space.
1752  Economy / Speculation / Re: $1 Million Bitcoin On Track To Break This Price Level. on: May 06, 2022, 03:36:14 PM
I also have great confidence in Bitcoin, despite all the difficult circumstances we are facing. I am confident that Bitcoin will regain its position soon. There are many factors that made Bitcoin face a decline, but this will not last long. I expect that we will witness a rise soon in the fourth quarter of this year. I also expect that Bitcoin achieves a new ATH before the end of this year, so I think this is the best time to buy more BTC and HOLD until we see a new high.
I do agree that the price will go up for sure. I am not sure about the price being that high would be a possibility this year, it could drop a bit and that could result with a bad situation for all of us, but even if it doesn't drop, even if it goes up, I am not sure about ATH.

I feel like Q4 will bring us 50k+ and that would be all, somewhere between 50k to 55k and stay there until end of the year. Then by 2023 we are going to see the ATH broken all over again. This is something that I am guessing though, I am not entirely sure if it will happen or not but breaking ATH next year seems like a thing that will probably happen instead of it happening this year.
1753  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Concern of illegal use of crypto on: May 06, 2022, 03:02:05 PM
Recently Indian Finance minister N.Sitharaman said Money laundering, terror financing biggest concerns around cryptocurrency...
What can be the remedial step to address this concern.

https://www.bgr.in/news/fm-nirmala-sitharaman-says-biggest-risk-of-crypto-is-laundering-terror-financing-1259977/
This is simply blatant accusation with no actual proofs and if the actual find the illegal transactions only with cryptocurrencies then how these terrorist group and illegal transactions happened before 15 years? Stupids can tell anything so anyone with common sense can identify and ignore them.
I wouldn't say they are accusations. I mean crypto is known to be used for money laundering and even funding terrorist organizations like ISIS, there is no denying that and it has been proven so far. The thing is, if crypto didn't existed, would these things not be done in fiat anyway? Or isn't it done with fiat even right now? Not like crypto just replaced fiat in this sense, we are talking about basically taking over the whole situation as a whole. No, it just created an alternative and that is it, nothing more.

This is why I believe that we have to realize the purpose here is not to show what bad things crypto could be used for, we know it could be used for bad things, but these same bad things are done with fiat as well, or there are so many good things done with crypto as well and ignored.
1754  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: cryptocurrency trading courses on: May 05, 2022, 08:49:52 PM
It's true we will never know until trying it, after all based on my own experience, Udemy is good enough for beginners and also the price offered is cheap with the knowledge that we will get. Another positive thing about Udemy is that there are many positive reviews about Udemy, so at that time I did not hesitate to try trading courses on Udemy. But that doesn't mean Udemy is the best and doesn't have flaws, there are still platforms that are better than Udemy, but the price offered is very expensive.
I think this site is great enough since I've been hearing lots of these in the past but about the prices offered I think they can differ depending on the author of those courses. High quality courses doesn't usually come cheap but they can be worth it compared to those cheap ones where you cant become really good after finishing it. Udemy has a positive review but I think there are still individual reviews depending on the course.

We should look at them too before we purchase so that we know what to expect and we can minimize our chances to get scammed by picking a bad quality course. Social media is a different thing and cant be compared to sites like Udemy.
1755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you spread BTC to people within you on: May 05, 2022, 07:26:51 PM
I just let those who are interested in it that I have been earning from crypto for long time now.
And I would tell them how my journey starts and how I earn on crypto.
So far I have some friends and even family members who got interested with it and also used it to gain extra profit.
Well, when you talk about profit people are definitely going to get interested in it. But, I don’t like going about it this way because whenever I tell people that I am earning from cryptocurrency, they always ask questions like, how much are you earning? How much will I be able to make?

And other questions like that, and I am not the type of person that likes to tell people what I’m into or how much I am making, I just prefer that it is kept secret and not being talked about all the time. But it’s alright if that’s how you like to go about it.
1756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC cycles and super cycles on: May 05, 2022, 06:11:15 PM
The only global events that would break Bitcoin are a global Bitcoin ban and a World War III(or maybe a global natural disaster). If those events don't happen,I'm sure that Bitcoin will be fine and we will see another ATH in the upcoming years. Is the Bitcoin price moving in cycles? It probably is,but I don't care that much about proving this "cycle theory".All the hype around the BTC halvings is kinda like a self-fulfilling prophecy. The people are buying, because they are expecting the price to go up and their buying activity is what makes the price to actually go up.As if they are trying to pump the price on purpose. Grin
The chances of a global ban on bitcoin is very slim and I don’t see that happening. As for World War III, that’s the one thing I never wish to see ever happen in this world. Countries that have found themselves in war, it’s a situation that they would never wish to ever be involved in again, because it destroys everything about the country, including the economy.

If there happens to be a war, I don’t think that bitcoin would be affected badly, any effect that takes place wouldn’t be that much on it. That’s just what I think.
1757  Economy / Economics / Re: Does anyone care about the environment? on: May 05, 2022, 03:55:36 PM
I don't think that this is not gonna that much effect  on market . But Without knowing anything Some people say this is just part of the ecology system, but I would say bitcoin is part of the ecology system because bitcoin mining requires a lot of electrical energy and generates a lot of heat.  So I would say that if the scientists point out these, then the market will be affected, but it will not be too much.
It really won't. Scientists are the least listened experts of their field, most people in most fields get their words in somehow but when it is scientists’ people rarely listen to them. Most of the time it is not really that much of a big deal because it is not an important thing but sometimes it is very important like climate change and they yet still can't get themselves heard.

This is why I believe that "rebellion" will not be heard that much neither, because if they were capable of getting themselves heard then they wouldn't really need this to begin with as well. World will slowly kill us all and that will just be our demise because we did not care at the correct time.
1758  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Legal Tender in Panama on: May 05, 2022, 01:08:53 PM
Has this been signed into a law already? I have yet to read a news stating that this bill has already passed into a law. I think this remains to be a bill until today as President Cortizo has yet to affix his signature on it. So we will know in the coming days if this will be approved or vetoed or will be resubmitted to congress for specific amendments before being reconsidered.

So far what is clarified is that Bitcoin is not to be declared as a legal tender in the country, but a lawful currency which is to be accepted in private transactions as well as in government transactions such as paying taxes.

It remains interesting to know how the likes of XDC Network, Elrond, Stellar, IOTA, Algorand, and others have been included in the proposed law and whether they will pass the review of the president.
It is not passed yet, it is basically offered and will be accepted but looking at who is supporting it, they have the power and they will pass it, so it is basically as good as done and that is why it was reacted this way. Legal Tender and what this approves is basically the same thing while giving people options to decline it if they do not want to use it.

This is why I believe that the best case to be made about the situation would be to make a profit if they want to use it, but if they decline it as a whole nation and just ignore it then this would provide of no use to any of us. Even the central Africa and El Salvador deals didn't help us, maybe helped them at best.
1759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all hacked on exchanges are real on: May 04, 2022, 09:24:50 PM
actually no one really knows who is the mastermind behind the hack, but from the conclusions I read from the opinions here, the exchange party will definitely seek the truth if it is an insider / outsider who did it
and hacking is often used as an excuse for the exchange when the token value goes up 100% and even more so that there is an improvement
Even if it is true that this is done by hackers in carrying out hackers, it may be very difficult to reveal who is behind all of this, unlike if this is done by insiders, it must be very easy to find the perpetrators who carried out hackers, because after all access to enter the system is very dependent on the command. given, a hacker doesn't easily hack if not given access as a notification, there are definitely controls that can be turned off if this happens by an outsider
It's difficult but it's possible. Many crypto hackers on the past have been busted out by the authorities. Once some of the members gets caught, authorities can do something like scaring them to tell if who is their mastermind and who are their other members. If it's an inside job then that is much more harder to solve the case because no one will tell the truth as all of the personnel agreed with that before. They shared the money equally, that's why no one will betray the other.

Hackers are smart dudes and they can bypass any system as long as they are dedicated enough and it won't matter to them even if the security is strong or if they can't get any help from the inside.
1760  Economy / Economics / Re: Warren Buffett and His Expansive Explanation against Bitcoin on: May 04, 2022, 06:56:01 PM
It is good that he describes Bitcoin as having magic, indeed Bitcoin has magic so it enchanted people and attracted them to it, not black magic but the magic of the high features and characteristics of Bitcoin that make it superior to the dollar and any paper currency in the world, a pathetic bourgeois, who will never understand how Bitcoin works and how it holds that value and that magic!!! I expect if he lived in another country that accepts Bitcoin, he would have said something completely different!!!
Unfortunately the magic in btc is not strong enough to capture Buffett's ancient thoughts and modify them into today's views to understand the core value of btc and it's superiority over his so ever cherished dollar. Even it latter make sense to him, I doubt people like Buffett will publicly want to admit their short comings, he would rather remain stubborn about it all.
Bitcoin's magic is too strong because even top personalities like elon musk have been using btc and not only that but there are also big companies that invests in btc's up to this date. This guy warren is simply not into bitcoin but he prefers other types of investment that are more common to him. We we can't deny that because he is getting old already and usually older guys are not into technical stuffs.

@yhiaali3 if btc has a magic (the good use) then I think there's also black magic or its bad use cases. This is why many are against btc because they can see that btc can be use on wrong doings like money laundering, scams, hacks, and etc.
