That's a good number and I admire the great work of BTX devs, we will see the fruit of their labors soon. Wishing that someday we'll see the prices of BTX before, one to two digits.

When we can show we can surpass visa’s 150 million average daily txs.

Soon.

Yep. Only time can tell and I can't wait to see that day.

We all want that.  Wink  But as long the team continues to work on the project, I don't lose my hope. Go BitCore!  Smiley
This is my I admire them, they're active and doesn't stop to work for Bitcore.  Cool

Nice, this is good news BTX have its own MN now. How many are currently running MN?
Yes, the team is still working on the project and trying to improve BTX. This time with masternodes. MNrank shows 116 MasterNodes online.  Smiley

1846  Other / Off-topic / Re: Has anyone tried this coronavirus app? on: April 04, 2020, 02:54:22 PM
I suspect that app is just gathering information. It asks for the DOB? What's the relation of that information about the detection of the virus? It can ask for the age but why be specific about the DOB? Does it requires you to enter full name?

I guess they collect the Date of Birth to determine how vulnerable  carriers are. Not the right way to gather sensitive information though. So, before giving out your sensitive information, ask yourself "What if" the information is going to the wrong hands... no checks and balances to prevent them from misusing the information.

Better to handle this in a decentralized manner... Some say "Decentralize everything"... I think I agree, and that should include, storage, market, developers, apps, governance, rule making, etc
No, they don't do that. Take time to read the follow-up post made by OP. The clarity of the agenda why the app was made is there. Nobody cares  about our birthday if it's plain information and doesn't have other related info of a person. They can easily create each day's birthday yearly.

So they're using Google Pay as a payment processor for "Respiratory Pathogen Profile Testing".

Yes, they seem to ask your full name, date of birth, location, apartment number, etc., which is something that concerns me (our privacy and personal data).

The app isn't made to help but it's made to milk money from those people that can't help themselves but to search for something like this.
They will collect data and sell it somewhere. That is why I don't trust most apps on play store because they are taking advantage of the situation while the users are not aware that they collect data.

They use fake pictures of people that we don't even know. And some scammers don't even know how to make a good website that's why you can distinguish a project through their website. If it's not made properly, your curiosity about the website will turn into a real thing because their website isn't even made seriously.
Do not fall with any of them.
1850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Would you market a project if it paid you this much ? on: March 23, 2020, 08:38:17 AM
Is this like those ads that's popping on our browsers like Iq Options or Expert Options? Correct me if I'm wrong but I understand it like those. As for the referral, just make it up to Lv.1 and stop making it look like a pyramid scheme. And for your other promotions like video making, if you want to, you should make a separate thread for it. Why not simply hire a marketing expert for this? I think you know what you are doing but be sure that the site isn't a scam. How can we see the other users or number that currently use your platform?

1853  Economy / Exchanges / Re: bitget exchange on: March 11, 2020, 10:19:21 PM
Lol, what kind of exchange is that. Asking the trader to return the sold coins. Well, if I'm the one who's affected, I'll just return it and take back my BTC.
But, how will you know that there's a guarantee that they will not do the same locking for the returned BTC of yours?
1854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano's is a rockstar in future. on: March 08, 2020, 09:55:38 PM
Cardano, recorded a weekly high of $0.053 although the price went down for the last two days. Cardano is still looking bearish in short term and for now the price is approaching significant support, if this goes well it will regain its momentum back. Currently if we see the chart cardano is maintaining a downward range but I strongly believe this coin will be the rockstar someday.
Cardano is just another altcoin that also likes to follow bitcoin's motion. If BTC will soar high, it will also soar high just like what the leader is doing. I think it's actually a good altcoin unlike those altcoins that's being shilled by others, I'm not familiar with it.
But Cardano (ADA), I still think it's an underrated altcoin but we can't tell what the future holds for this coin.
1855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 25, 2020, 11:29:06 PM
Is there a chance that Stephen Curry will leave the Golden State Warriors?
He's locked for Golden State Warriors for 5 years and I think the last time he's signed the contract was 2017. He's one to have the highest contract and I don't think that GSW will set him free even the contract expires.

He's like the Kobe24 of GSW.

Contract will expire in 2020 per https://www.spotrac.com/nba/golden-state-warriors/stephen-curry-6287/
A player that is given a max contract won't leave a team, unless there is a conflict inside the organization, and so far, I haven't heard anything like that.
Based on the link given, its not 2020 but 2020 2022 yet its a 5 year contract since 2017.

Dont hear about news on leaving the team and i dont see a reason on why he would do such thing.
Thanks for that verification that his contract is still until 2022. I really don't see that he's leaving and there's no point for a rumor like this.
Just because the GSW isn't doing well for this season? they can get some help again and reshuffle their roster if they have to.

1857  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Paybis gives away FREE Ledger Nano S! on: February 19, 2020, 10:53:55 PM
It would be more interesting if it's a Ledger Nano X.

The ledger nano will be given to only one person so the odds of winning are very slim.
Yes.  Undecided
For only one transaction, you have one entry so this makes it harder to win and for the sake of the wallet if you want to win, you need to conduct as much as transactions as you can for more entries.
1858  Economy / Exchanges / Re: CMC Liquidity metric on: February 15, 2020, 08:12:51 PM
So CMC has finally introduced liquidity as an exchange metric (better late than never). Liquidity has the small advantage over volume that it can't be faked.
They can manipulate it, it's CMC and they have managed to manipulate data and even make an unknown exchange at the top.
Does anyone in the room really believe HitBTC is the most liquid exchange in the world, ahead of Bitfinex, Binance, Kraken, and Coinbase? Roll Eyes
Hell yeah, I'm expecting Binance on that spot.
1859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is a Safe Haven, and VDS Is Bitcoin’s Cash Flow on: February 04, 2020, 05:53:39 PM
Ok, I understand it now so it's the system that you are using with VDS. Prolly, I understood it the different manner and meaning but I can't really see the difference of it with the traditional trading system that we have except for the decentralized manner as you have described.
Well, as you say that it's not the entire system that we used to know and it's different from what you're trying to explain here.
Maybe you're so used to the regulations of centralized exchanges that you feel no big deal whether it is implemented on a public chain supported by distributed nodes instead of central server and cannoot be shut down. To me, this Resonance Trade design is grounbreaking. VDS and BTC utilize the same elliptic curve algorithm so that they share the same private key. The key is passed through base58check code to allow the BTC and VDS public keys to be different. After the conversion, Vollar is sent to a public key under that private key that started the conversion.

After exchanging Bitcoin to Vollar through resonance trade, you can directly exchange Vollar for any currency or security through OTC transactions within the anonymous network of VDS (supported by anonymous super master nodes scattered around the world).

Tons of topic to discuss regarding VDS ecosystem since the functions involved are far more than these.
That's probably the reason why I'm still into it. Actually, I'll cut the conversation now from here on. I'm not technically good with what you are saying and I think there's a sense of what you are telling me with the project you are supporting. However, that's why I'm cutting it so that I can further study about it and see if I can say that it's a good one that you are supporting there.
1860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is a Safe Haven, and VDS Is Bitcoin’s Cash Flow on: February 03, 2020, 08:45:30 PM
Isn't it that Bitcoin is linked to all of the trade system in cryptocurrencies and most of them are with altcoin pairs?
Not exactly, what you mentioned is trading pairs in exchange platforms like Binance. The Resonance Trade System I've described is a one-way conversion of Bitcoin to Vollar, it allows the holder to convert Bitcoin into Vollar in a decentralized manner in the wallet of VDS without seeking a counterparty. This technology is unique to VDS.
