Well you might perhaps get a payout, even two or three as long as other "investors" are helping keep it afloat. The majority of times greed, etc. keeps people coming back to these sort of schemes and they lose any money they initially put into it in the first place.

I would have thought that the people who don't know a ton about Bitcoin would have just shrugged it off as just another way to pay for their favorite Microsoft products. Why the hate?
I saw a tweet from someone today who was interested in learning about it, sent him a few bits via changetip. Led to a nice conversation regarding bitcoin and he said he would take to the gaming forum he is a member of. (I am not much of a gamer myself.) |

Funny, I saw this link on reddit a few days ago, the poster using it had purportedly "leaked" a bunch of blockchain wallet accounts. Used a url shortening service to disguise the pitifully long link. I think the original post lasted 20 minutes before it was deleted.

I had a friend who swapped some SHA hashing in exchange for Scrypt when this was released, and he wanted me to mine it for him. After < 4 hours I noticed how fishy it was and said so on twitter. In response, midascoin goes all mad defensive which is a sure sign to me that I indeed smell bullshit in the air. After a talk with my friend, and showing him the numbers it made perfect sense. I'm glad nothing was really lost on our end. |

I have not been able to find any news lately, were the wallet issues ever fixed? I still have a few of these in cold storage, but seems like the chain would fork every time I threw any mining power at it.

And there are 10 other coins that do the same thing and in some cases do it better. If you are happy with RDD being in the 5-15 sat range this is a great coin, but if you think it is ever going to make you money, look elsewhere. This coin has missed its launch, and its community at reddit is now hanging on by a thread.

Hm....I looked at the payments of the last 3 weeks, there is a decrease, although networkpower decreases? 0.0000125 per Ghs payout 2 weeks ago 0.0000116 per Ghs payout 1 weeks ago 0.0000107 per Ghs payout this sunday Maybe really something going on....  This happens over time as difficulty rises. I also wanted to note I have used pbmining for months now without issue. I was gifted a few GH/s from another member and later purchased more. |
