2281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Nordine Oubaali vs. Nonito Donaire - December 12 on: November 03, 2020, 02:07:37 PM
I'd love to see the odds but it seems none of the popular bitcoin bookies have picked this fight yet.
Was it just announced recently? Maybe tomorrow we will see it, just keep eyeing on the bookies, it will take time but we already know whose side will be favoring the odds here.
Nope, doesn't look like it. I've seen news articles announcing the bout as early as February this year but with dates to be determined. Other articles written in July had already a specific date for the bout though.

This fight might not be as popular as other title fights but it's still a title fight. The odds should have been up by now. All I can see is the Anthony Joshua vs. Pulev Kubrat odds scheduled on the same day.
2282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Clubs to avoid per league in betting on: November 03, 2020, 01:50:27 PM
there are no clubs that should be avoided during a bet since each match as an history separate from the previous seen.
It's not entirely avoid but the OP is just giving a "warning" not to bet on these teams for reasons stated in the footnotes. Of course you are still free to bet against them.

I would be skeptical betting on Man U against any team in the EPL right now because of their past performances. I'm likely to bet on their opponent if presented with good odds.

Thanks for the chuckle @Onuohakk Enjoy your merit.

Well, honestly, same lang din ng verification process. AFAIK, kapag gagamit or magtatransact ka with fiat (PHP to be exact), is needed din the KYC, in which same applies sa coins.ph, if and only if you wanted to be verified but then you can still use it without verification. But then with the convenience matter, I'm not too knowledgeable kung may feature ba ang Binance na meron ang Coins.ph such as direct send to various local banks and even other E-wallets, and if you can use your Binance as your wallet per se. Will definitely try Binance soon kapag may budget na Cheesy
If fiat P2P transactions, yes required nga din ang KYC but the rates though.

I'm not sure which local banks na pwede ka mag-direct cashout.

I don’t think it will take place because of covid 19. Even if it does, I can’t see a crowd being able to watch them and the lack of moral support from screaming fans is going to have a negative affect on the fighters.

AND

It’s currently supposed to be at a casino, there’s no way the casinos are going to be open with the way cases are increasing in the USA

There will be no winner because there will be no fight
Eh? There have been many ongoing sports from basketball, football, MMA, to boxing during the pandemic. Even if there are limited live audiences, they can still generate money through PPVs. Example - [Boxing]: Gervonta Davis vs Leo Santa Cruz - Oct 31

Casinos? There are already establishments that reopened months back but with major changes of course.

About the match, let's take a look at the tale of the tape

^ Despite just three years in age difference, there's a wide gap in their number of fights. I'll give this to Nonito because of his height, reach, fight experience advantage. If Nordine was like in his 20's, I would have given him the edge.

I'd love to see the odds but it seems none of the popular bitcoin bookies have picked this fight yet.

^ Too bad the wincoins also resets after 24 hours. I wasn't able to fully maximize it. I wish they would give more coupons. The daily claim is too small for me because low rank  Grin

As it appears, you can buy them when you go to "shop" (hover cursor to your profile to see it) with BTC. You can also use them to buy experience points to rank up or to change your windice nickname.
2286  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [TIP] Onting tipid tips sa transactions sa Coins.PH on: November 03, 2020, 01:36:59 AM
"Tipid" kung xrp transaction from other wallets to coinsph.

2287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Know what bankroll management is in sports betting? on: November 02, 2020, 06:37:24 PM
1. Set a personal minimum/maximum bet for each match.
2. Pick a team with the likelihood of winning with better odds.

I don't usually bet on teams with odds less than 1.5. It's tempting to double or triple your bet on a team that's likely to win but with odds like 1.2 just to maximize your profits. The risk might be low but when you lose, that's going to sting a bit.

Atalanta vs. Liverpool - pretty good odds for Liverpool here @2.1 (Bitsler) Do you think Atalanta can contain them? Will LFC pump the break and rest some key players?

Another one I'm looking at is RB Leipzig vs. PSG - RBL plays at home but PSG remains the favorite and at pretty good odds too at 2.23 (Bitsler). What's your take?

@asu coinsph ba yang addy mo? Kung sakaling oo, try to PM @molsewid. Mukhang pwede niya i-grant yan base sa previous comment niya.
2291  Local / Pamilihan / Kucoin launched P2P fiat trade for Philippine Peso on: November 02, 2020, 04:21:11 PM
As the title says, tinarget na din ng Kucoin ang mga Pinoy traders kagaya ng ginawa ng Binance.

Disregarding the hack na nangyari sa kanila kamakailan, maganda na din ito as added option for your trades.

Methods/Options:
  • Bank transfers
  • GCash
  • Paymaya

Thanks for the email @windice

It has been a while since I last played there. I got some free WINS from the coupon and the "claim" page (don't know what to call it). What can I do with this? I know I can wager it except in Roulette but what are the limitations when I use this in games? I also don't see it as an option when I checked in your internal exchange.
2293  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase vs Binance on: November 01, 2020, 10:45:54 AM
Funny how the once mighty Bittrex is left out in conversations for top exchanges based in US. The forcing of KYC and locking up accounts sure left a permanent scar on many users.

On the battle between Coinbase and Binance, it will boil down to how good their services are. I mean both are heavily regulated, require KYC, limited coins and tokens to trade with.
2294  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥Sportbook and Casino: BITSLER > $10,000 DAILY Wagering contest < on: November 01, 2020, 10:02:30 AM
Have you ever tried to play Bitsler's new casino game, Keno?  What can you say?  Any thoughts?
So I just tested the "low risk" with minimum bets and random picks every turn. First try was 4X but it didn't take long before it break even (five times) Grin

About the game, it's kinda cool. I like the graphics except that I find it too big for my regular size monitor. I don't even know how it would look like on mobile. The payout for five or more numbers are also enticing.
2295  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC tx accelerator works really? on: October 31, 2020, 07:28:16 PM
I can no longer count how many times I tried in viabtc but zero success so far. It's so tough to get in. I always get "limit exceeded" or some error. I don't know if my timing was off or others are just too quick that one second is already too late.

I can't say for sure but it seems most of these free services are only rebroadcasting your transaction. If you're your fee is low, it will only be ignored by miners again.
2296  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin dominance collapse ?! on: October 31, 2020, 10:42:20 AM
It must have *been* a glitch. I'm looking at trading view's BTC dominance chart right now and lowest it has been was around 57% and that was last month (Sept) https://www.tradingview.com/symbols/CRYPTOCAP-BTC.D/

Even if you don't rely on that info, you can probably guess because altcoins haven't been pumping lately. It's the opposite actually.

^ Okay, I don't even know what this RSD Huesda team is made of yet (first time hearing) but I'm betting on them. I'm not betting on RM winning anytime soon after their dismal performance in CL (where I lost).

@text try boom.

Edit: just one of the days you get lucky you're unable to place a bet because your internet went down. I would have lost putting money on Huesda  Grin
2298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking: Sources that show information about suspended/injured missing players on: October 31, 2020, 09:33:22 AM
I doubt there is one but yeah if someone has an information about that, please don't hesitate to drop me a PM as well if it's confidential. Please be considerate, I badly need it for a project that I am working on  Cool
2299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we red tag and create a flag for ICO bounty managers that do not escrow on: October 31, 2020, 08:57:19 AM
It's an abuse of the trust system if you tag BMs on the basis of not having an escrow alone. There was no violation (yet) to begin with and there's no evidence that they'll run away. However, they can be tagged if proven that they were negligent in doing their job and that they knew something fishy is going on but decided to run the bounty campaign anyway.

I do agree that hunters can force these projects to escrow the funds. Bounty managers can do the same. Hunters can if they do not participate while managers can refuse to run their campaign.

What you should really ask is why external bounty managers don't reject/drop these campaigns with no escrows? It starts with them. If the argument is that the team can still launch it on their own, hunters can just ignore it.
2300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not needed but only for investment purposes on: October 30, 2020, 03:45:11 PM
I guess you've never experienced moving your funds (in BTC) yet. You'll understand the importance of it once you realized you no longer need intermediaries that can hold/lock your funds.

This is why I would like to know your reply if it is alright to earn profit with bitcoin coming from the new investors of bitcoin? The existing bitcoin holders bought bitcoin cheaper than the new investors that they can get bitcoin at higher price as of the moment.
You are labeling bitcoin as some ponzi scheme here but that's not the case. There is no need for you to go on guilt trip. Bitcoin price depends upon much more factors than just the time of purchase.
Allow me to supplement this using a traditional business scenario @KingsGambet19

Let's say you decided to become an online retailer. You'll to get in contact with a supplier of that product and buy from them. If he sold that to you at $5 per piece, you'll need to double or triple that price to cover the cost and earn something. Now my question is, would retailers like you feel guilty of profiting from your customers too?

Another thing, there is real value in bitcoin. Don't think of it as money made out of thin air that you'd feel guilty when you trade it.
